Introduction: I’m Hillary (she/her) and I am an ordained officiant located in Seattle, WA. I will work with you as closely as you wish to craft a memorable wedding that fits you and your love story! I am proud to work with couples of all genders and identities.
Please note that my ordainment is nondenominational, though I am happy to include specific elements of your faith or traditions into your ceremony. I am particularly excited about working with interfaith and/or Jewish families given my own lived experience!
I am an experienced public speaker & writer and lifelong people person. My full-time career in higher education and corporate university recruiting has brought me all over the country and world (26 states and 12 countries for work alone!) speaking with people of all ages and backgrounds. I love bringing people together and can’t wait to meet you.
10% of all proceeds from a ceremony with me will go to a cause of your choice (see Pricing page on the site for more information!).
COVID-19: I am fully vaccinated/triple boosted (including the updated bivalent booster) and committed to the safest possible ceremony experience for you and your loved ones. I am only able to work with fully vaccinated/boosted couples. By default I will wear a mask when interacting with others while indoors and will remove the mask for the ceremony itself but I am happy to take additional precautions based on your comfort levels.

Hillary was an excellent officiant in every way. She took the time to get to know my husband and I both individually, and as a couple. She was also at our rehearsal and made that run smoothly, taking one less thing off of my plate. The day of our wedding, she lead the most beautiful ceremony, and peppered in some laughs just like we wanted. I highly recommend her.

We could not have been more blessed to have found Hillary to be our officiant. She made the whole process as stress free as possible. She took care of all of the whole licensing and was so knowledgeable and helpful through it all. She was so responsive and thoughtful in her communication. She took the time to get to know us, and had us fill out these amazing form that allowed her to conduct the most amazing ceremony. Both my husband and my guests were blown away by how beautiful and perfect the ceremony was. She enraptured our relationship perfectly and represented us so well. There is so much to think about and take care of on your wedding day, but Hillary relieved so much off of our plate. Before the ceremony I was so anxious with all of the things I had to think about, but as soon ss she got to the venue I was instantly much calmer. Her public speaking skills blew me away. She is so comforting and so profesional. She is one of the highlights of my wedding that I will cherish forever.

I’m so thankful to have Hillary as my wedding officiant. She was professional and very responsive. She followed up with me of any details I needed to know so I didn’t have to worry about anything about the script and paper work. Our ceremony came out so beautiful and it was flowing with tears and laughter. We loved every second of it. Big thanks to Hillary!

We had the most amazing experience working with Hillary. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and flexible in making our day unique. She supported us in making sure both my husband's cultural traditions were included as well as western traditions. She even met virtually with my in-laws to make sure the ceremony would run smoothly and meet their expectations for the cultural ceremonies. For the day of the wedding, Hillary was punctual and so patient with our ceremony running behind schedule. She was a source of comfort and reassurance. I cannot recommend Hillary enough - we are beyond happy with her officiant services. :)

Hillary was our wedding(elopement) officiant and working with her has made our wedding very easy. It was a smooth and amazing experience for us to have the simplest celebration that' we'll treasure forever. She truly cares about what you need and how you wanted your celebration to be. She's been so easy to talk to, and very active in replying to queries from day one until even after the celebration. Hillary is very friendly and professional, and most importantly, very kind. Hillary comes highly recommended and will be very lucky to have her as their wedding officiant.
