This is the best place for music lessons in the Onalaska/La Crosse area. We've tried three other music schools as well as two separate teachers who would come to our home, and Onalaska Music Academy is by far the best. Not the cheapest, but the results speak for themselves. I have three girls all learning different instruments - trumpet, flute and piano - and there's no other music school that can accommodate all three, let alone all on the same day with overlapping times. The instructors are super-accommodating and for the first time, my girls actually look forward to going to their classes and they don't give me grief when I ask them to practice. And I love being able to look into the classroom through the glass door and watch them from time to time. And their Saturday makeup lesson program is awesome.

About

I offer a genuine passion for each person who wants to increase their ability to sing or speak. Whether they have a singing voice or is a marginal singer, yet has a desire and passion to stretch. I love to motivate, encourage and stretch my vocal students where their level of stage fright, confidence and securities will be manageable for them to stand before audiences and do what they enjoy doing. I give them my undivided attention and commitment to teach them how to improve and hone their vocal skills. They are all important, there is no partiality among singers.

About

I teach the fundamentals of voice and music theory and help people get more comfortable in expressing themselves through song and learning how to sing correctly.

About

Hi! I'm Mrs. Aagaard, a piano and voice teacher who has years of experience teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities. My master's degree in performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College has given me a lot of tools to teach and motivate students with different learning styles and musical backgrounds. I teach out of a home studio located in Southside La Crosse a few blocks from central high school and Longfellow Middle School. My rates start at $65 a month for half-hour lessons. Thanks for reading!

About

I have been singing for as long as I can remember and it was only right that I found myself called to a music career. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. I do love performing - in operas, recitals, choir concerts - but I found that, after taking classes like vocal pedagogy and diction for singers, I also have a passion for teaching voice one-on-one. Every voice - and every person - is so unique and I find it fascinating to discover the techniques and approaches that work best for each student to find their true voice. I will work with every student to meet their goals as musicians and performers. And I hope that when they leave my studio, students find their passion for music to be even more intense than before.
