We recently used JL Moving and we were very pleased with the results. Everything went as promised. Dominic & Mike arrived on time, were very pleasant and eager to get to work. They listened as I explained our needs, asking appropriate questions as necessary. They padded and shrink wrapped every piece of furniture and were extremely careful not to damage anything. They diligently worked throughout the day, only taking a few, short breaks, all while keeping a positive, friendly attitude. Once at our new house, they put everything where we requested. NOTHING got broken and we moved a good deal of furniture, boxes and other personal items. We were quite happy with the entire process. Renee called the morning of the move to confirm everything was going as anticipated. She also followed up the next morning to get additional feedback. JL Moving takes pride in their work, both workers and management. We would use them again without hesitation, we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

I was extremely impressed with the service. I had two people come to do some much needed, very overdue, cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom. They did an excellent job and got it done in a good amount of time. The people that came were very nice. I have other projects that need to be done and they are more than willing to help. The woman who answers the phone and did the consultation was also very nice. I have already scheduled for someone to come back. I definitely recommend this service!

First of all, let me say that my cleaning request was so audacious, only certain kinds of people could tackle it. So I'll emphasize how Paloma is as a person alongside her skills at cleaning. Paloma is a lovely lady. She is relatable, funny, upbeat, patient, and very easy to get along with. Paloma truly cared for me and made it her personal mission to ensure I was happy before, during, and after my deep cleaning request. I moved into my new home and immediately realized it was not cleaned for years! I discovered spiders, cobwebs, mildew, dried oil, odd smells, and an unfathomable amount of dust. We both agreed that of all the homes either of us have seen, my home was the dirtiest by a great deal. Paloma performed a deep cleaning and completely revitalized my home. She listened carefully to my priorities and immediately began to clean. I enjoyed her down-to-earth attitude, straightforwardness, and patience with me. Upon cleaning a room, Paloma asked me to inspect it. Her efforts matched the importance of each priority (e.g. hammering down on a dirty bathroom & kitchen). A few times, I forgot to point out some areas that needed ultra deep cleaning. So when I interrupted her flow multiple times, Paloma expressed understanding and patience; she never seemed fazed, remained upbeat and conversational. For those of you who prefer silent cleaning, I can bet that Paloma will do just that. Nonetheless, she is an excellent communicator, which is a major bonus. From personal experience, I know how dissatisfying a service can be due to a lack of communication and/or clear instructions. So, without a doubt, I am thoroughly satisfied not only with her cleaning, but also of her as a person. In a sweet sort of way, she felt like my mother, giving cleaning tips, making jokes, and was very hardworking. I have faith in her to do an excellence job and remain professional. Oftentimes, realizing the extent to which a home must be cleaned can be daunting and demotivating - it certainly was for me. But not for Paloma! After hours of dusting, brooming, wiping, and mopping, I knew she could go on and on and on. It's been a rough few days moving in, but I can finally unpack comfortably and just relax. I feel at home thanks to Paloma. I know long reviews like this can feel sketch, but I cannot express how wonderful she is all around. If you must, contact her and find out for yourselves (I left a voicemail, and she got back to me within 30 minutes). I most certainly will be sticking to her for any future requests. I'm sharing this today because of my positive experience, and I will recommend her to others. Thanks again, Paloma!

This was my first time using thumbtack and I'm glad I did. Put a brief description about the project I wanted done and Luke responded quickly. His work was exceptional and so was his pricing. He changed out many doors, trimmed my whole lower level, cased all windows and doors and painted everything. The time frame he gave me was spot on and was done quickly and the quality of work was great. I strongly recommend others using him!!

We had a great experience with Annie and highly recommend working with her. She helped us organize and style our two main living rooms so no space was wasted in our family home. She pulled pieces that helped showcase the style my husband and I were looking for (a huge, beautifully framed atlas above the couch that she selected for us, modern side tables and tall white bookcases), but she also pulled pieces that created a playful area for our young son (colorful rugs and wall art, floor pillows and a beautiful leather coffee table that doubles as storage for toys and books). Our living areas are elegant/chic enough to host a dinner party, but also very cozy and relaxing (which is exactly what we wanted for our young family). She was professional, punctual and very fun to work with. We plan to work with her on our guest bedrooms next!

This was the first time using Thumbtack and I was fortunate enough to find Nakita. I have two Airbnb’s that need cleaning very frequently and I was looking for a house cleaner with flexibility. Nakita stepped up and went above and beyond. Before hiring Nakita, I wanted to meet her and walk her through the place to make sure she didn’t have any questions. Nakita was so accommodating during the walk through she was suggesting personal recommendations of things she would do during her cleanings to make our guest feel more welcome in our home. We’ve had her clean the place a number of times and we are more than satisfied with her work. I would highly recommend Nakita to anyone looking for a professional, experienced house cleaner.

Amazing customer service. The employee was prompt, respectful and organized. I work nights and sleep days and its impossible to get the help needed to organize my life.
