Both my children have taken piano lessons with Mrs. Simon. We have been taking lessons in her home for the past 7 years. Mrs. Simon is reliable, professional and very sweet! Her students participate in 2 recitals per year and one competition called "Federation". Mrs. Simon's prices are very affordable as well! She has been a blessing to our family!!! Playing the piano has really helped both my kids with typing. They are better typers than me and I owe it all to Mrs. Simon!
I took voice lessons from Kristen to improve my Indian classical repertoire. Despite having no prior experience with the style, she was able to isolate what type of voice exercises I need to do to improve upon the same. I saw clear improvement by the end of the semester and I enjoyed every lesson. What I appreciate the most, is that Kristen tailored the lessons to suit my experience and results. Highly recommend and look forward to taking lessons from her again!
My son wasn't excited about piano for a while but one session with Jack and he wants to play
I believe that everyone should be able to enjoy singing! Whether you are looking to advance your skills or gain confidence, I will meet you at the level you're at, help you sing with health and grow. I am a classically-trained singer. I studied and taught in Los Angeles and New York City, and I am now based in Appleton, WI.
I am a swimming lessons teacher and a fitness coach with a degree in health and physical education. I am based out of Milwaukee as well as Madison area if needed.
We offer instrument rentals, store services and music lessons. Mad About Music has five teachers offering lessons in guitar, piano, voice and many other instruments.
Theresa is one of a kind. She has helped my 6 year old learn piano in two semesters! Plus she makes it really fun for him and is super accommodating to different learning styles. You won't find anyone else that cares as much about Her students than Theresa.
I am a professional teacher and a professional performer, not just one or the other. I have a strong background in music theory, which I combine with learning to play by ear. I have experience working with all age levels and backgrounds.
I have been in several accomplished bands and have written close to a thousand songs. I love to share my knowledge, enthusiasm, and shortcuts to attentive beginners of any age. Experienced in all aspects of modern music making, I engage students with a "big-picture" learning style that simultaneously and easily teaches the guitar, percussion, and vocals, and I always let the students decide what they want to learn! The guitar is made easy and fun. For more involved music makers, I offer songwriting assistance and instruction. As a bonus, I guarantee that I can make anyone, no matter how horrible they sound now, into a great singer quickly! My rates are reasonable, and the time spent is memorable. Feel free to contact references of current clients upon request. All ages are encouraged. Blessings.
I am a former classical singer who no longer has the opportunity to perform due to the extensive training and time commitment it entails. Instead, I'm offering to teach aspiring vocalists on what I know about singing from my formal training and from personal experience. I am a friendly and personable instructor; I'm willing to work with all ages and skill levels. Thank you for reviewing my ad.
Flexibility. I understand being busy and that life can throw curveballs. My main mission is to create a life-long appreciation for music of all genres.
Being largely self-taught, with some help along the way- I have a "non-traditional" way of teaching using patterns, computer software such as Capo, as well as teaching the basic music vocabulary that a new musician may come across. Having been a Professors assistant at the Tech College in Madison I can proudly say that I can communicate effectively with anyone willing to listen, and I can tailor my presentation in many ways so it is easily understood. I also have built an electric guitar and know how to properly adjust guitars to make them easier to play, sound better and keep them "healthy."
I provide lessons for all ages, from beginning through advanced. I teach classical, pop, Broadway, and religious. I also work with special needs students through music and animal-assisted therapies. I have 25 years of experience. Lessons are tailored to fit your learning style. Kids and seniors are a specialty!
Working with Emily was a wonderful experience! Over the course of several months, I took numerous voice lessons with her in the hopes of improving my singing skills. I am happy to say that Emily helped me reach my personal goals, thanks to her outstanding credentials and attention to detail. Emily encouraged and challenged me to push past my comfort zone and try new techniques. She was always flexible with arranging lessons, understanding my needs, addressing my concerns, and helping me reach my full potential. I highly recommend Emily to those who are interested in improving their vocal skills!
