I'm not even sure where to begin with how wonderful Lindsay was during our ENTIRE wedding planning process. She truly went above and beyond any expectations we could've had for a wedding planner! To start, she managed 100% of the communication with the vendors throughout the planning process. She attended every vendor meeting/consultation with me (that I asked her to, she left it up to me), she negotiated to make sure I paid fair prices for all services, and she worked with the vendors on all "day of" coordination, i.e. set up/take down, timing, expectations, etc. She helped me create a binder with all of my to do's to stay organized throughout the year. Wow! That, in my opinion, is going above and beyond. Lindsay is also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to wedding and event planning. It's clear she's been in this industry for a long time. She has ideas and a perspective on many topics that I would never have thought of. She helps see things from different angles, yet always let me make the final call after having all of the needed info. Lindsay makes life SO easy for the bride, bridal party, and family on the big day. She coordinated all of the days events, who needed to be where and at what times, made sure the flower girl had candy to entice her to walk down the aisle, carried my train for me, and made sure that I didn't know about any of the "oopsies" that happened throughout the day. Last, and in my opinion, most importantly, I was able to connect with Lindsay. She was fun, lighthearted, and so enjoyable to work with. She knows what it's like to be a bride and what's important to us. I truly felt like she went out of her way often to make it all about me and make sure that I had the best time ever planning my wedding. I am so grateful for having Lindsay as my wedding planner, and cannot recommend her enough to future brides! Lindsay, you ROCK! :)
Abnirys led the planning and execution for our wedding around the 40 children that attended. She planned all the activities, games, vendors like face painters, sketch artists and make a special gift box for each attendee based on age and gender. Abnirys also did all of the shopping,set up, management of the event and kids during and then clean up after. She also work with the venue and catering management as needed to ensure everything went smoothly. Abnirys also stepped up and helped out when we got stressed and needed extra help the day of the event beyond just the kids activities. Pure stems provided the flowers for my daughter's wedding. The event was outdoors and casual. Christine gathered vintage vases and pots and created arrangements that were both understated and gorgeous. She has an eye for the unique and makes it all look easy and unfussy. Everyone commented on how beautiful the arrangements were.
I was nervous about hiring Rustic Chic because they didn't have as much experience as other places. But I don't regret my choice. Megan was an absolute amazing wedding coordinator. She helped guide us and prepare us the month before and did a phenomenal job coordinating our wedding day. Our wedding was very large, very detailed, and very complicated and she dealt with everything leaving us both stress free on our special day. She worked well with all of our other contractors and made sure that they all showed up on time and did what needed to be done. Basically, our wedding would not have happened without her. No joke! She is great and we highly recommend her.

I try hard to focus on the tasks at hand, and I make it a point to not focus too closely on what other Planners are doing. One thing that I can say about myself is that I am making an effort to obtain actual formal education as a Wedding Planner and within months I will obtain my "certification". Many Wedding Planners out there do NOT ever make an effort to become formally trained (take coursework) and/or to become certified. Although certification is optional, it shows you realize the importance of proper training in the field.
