- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clients should know that Four Star Entertainment tries to provide realistic pricing when it comes to our services. Also please if we quote you and someone gives you a lower quote let us know and we will tell you if we can lower our quote at all. We may not be able to but it is worth asking and is not inappropriate to ask. Our quotes will depend on travel, time of event as well as if it is a holiday of not. I promise you though we provide our services at extremely reasonable prices and know that your event is special to you and we are not out to price gouge you on your special day.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As I have said, once we begin dialogue through Thumbtack then I will want to set up a meeting fairly soon, even if your event is a year away. So we will message here on Thumbtack and then probably speak on the phone and then set up a meeting so we can get to know each other.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well I have said what my first career was and I would say this about relevant training pertaining to this career. I was a Crisis Negotiator for 15 years and it taught me so much. It taught me how to read people as well as how to get along with all different types of people. I also have an extremely strong work ethic and put 150% into everything I do! I will provide a highly prepared event for you for your special occasion! I have hundreds of hours of training in interviewing individuals, how does that pertain to a DJ you ask? Well interviewing pertains to pretty much everything you do in life, when I say interview it is totally the opposite of interrogate. When we meet that is pretty much an interview for both of us, I will ask you questions (interview) you that will help me learn about you and what you like and don’t like which in turn helps me know how to make the entertainment at your event exactly what you want. I also have hundreds of hours of training in active listening so you will say things that you may not even remember but I will pick it up and use it again to help make your event relevant to you and your guests!
