Introduction: Offering cello lessons for beginning and advanced students, I specialize in helping students find the balance of passion and discipline to build a great relationship with the instrument.
I received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in music education and cello performance, where I studied with Andrew Smith. My graduate studies were completed at the University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) in cello performance, while leading the Missouri String Project through Mizzou's teaching assistantship program. I studied with Andrew Luchansky at California State University-Sacramento and taught the CSUS String Project under Suzuki pedagogue Judy Weigart-Bossaut.
I am certified in the Suzuki Method and an active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
My music studio is in Noe Valley on the Western edge of the Mission. If you are interested in learning more about lessons or in collaborating to bring amazing string music to more people in San Francisco, contact me!
