Bobbi is great! I have been taking singing lessons from her for about 5 years, off and on. Started with a group intro class of 4 students where we were all totally scared, then I transitioned into private lessons where I found that I really might be able to sing after all! I sign up for 6 to 12 weeks a year usually...enough to move to the next level of confidence and technique. I'm obviously not that driven but sure like to have fun and get out of my comfort zone. This year a group of 4 signed up for her group singing class, which has been a blast learning to harmonize on the spot, get past another level of jitters and use the mics. Even did a recital together. Bobbi is gracious and encouraging - and yes she can sing!
My teenage girls absolutely love "Mr. Ron!" They have taken piano and voice lessons from him as well as participated in his song-writing and recording camps. He is patient and encouraging, and brings out the best in his students!!!
Mary is an OUTSTANDING voice teacher! I love to sing but always with a choir. Now I am singing SOLO and am surprising myself. Mary has the AMAZING ability to paint a picture and in simple, understandable terms, describe the technique of voice sound and quality that are easy and understandable to apply. Mary is classically trained and WELL trained. Learn from the BEST! You'll love the lessons and you'll be singing even better in just a few lessons, too! ... It's all about the BREATH!
We have 2 boys new to piano lessons and they love it so far. Miss Laura is very good with them. They really look forward to going to their lessons. They seem to be picking it up fast. We are very happy customers!
I would like to highly recommend Michelle Beckle to you as a piano and/or vocal teacher for your children. Michelle is very passionate about music. Her love for the art is evident in her enthusiastic and energetic teaching techniques. She is patient with all students and always encourages them to perform at their best. Although she is one of the best music teachers in the area, her prices are extremely reasonable. My two sons have taken music lessons from Michelle for the past sixteen years. She regularly organizes recitals for the students to perform in front of audiences. It is my great pleasure to recommend Michelle Beckle to you as a music teacher for your children. I am tremendously grateful to her for everything she has taught my sons and the joy their music has brought to our family.
Eddie is a great drum instructor, who not only taught me Many different types of genres of music, but also taught me confidence, which was priceless. Eddie also is fairly affordable, one on one, and his schedule is super flexible. 6/5 stars.
Lali Breen has been a fantastic violin teacher for me. She is exceptionally talented and has helped me with confidence, technique, and musical understanding. Our music lessons are meaningful and enjoyable.
This service is great - I used to wait in my car trolling Facebook while my son had his piano lesson at his old studio. Now I get an hour and a half back every week while he works and I don't have to drive. Highly recommend Traveling Music Lessons. So much better than before.
I am delighted to recommend Maryanne Kremer-Ames as a guitar teacher. She is simply wonderful. I feel that studying with her has made me not just a better guitarist but also a better musician, as my ear for music has steadily developed in a way that allows me to appreciate all kinds of music more deeply. After going through four guitar teachers in seven years, I finally found Maryanne and have never looked back. I can truly say that since studying with Maryanne, I have learned how to Improve the quality of sound I get from my guitar Get the most out of my practice time Phrase the music I am learning so I am truly making music instead of just hitting the right notes Conquer difficult passages by breaking them down into smaller chunks so I can more readily identify the underlying problem that is holding me back Lock in the correct fundamentals of posture, hand position, fingernail shape, and so on that will improve my sound and increase my joy in playing Prepare for playing in front of an audience As a teacher Maryanne is patient and easy to work with. She creates a pressure-free learning environment in which everything is adapted to my individual goals and needs. Thanks to her positive approach, I really enjoy the lessons they actually offer relief from my daily stress! I cant say enough good things about her as an instructor. Shes definitely the best guitar teacher I have ever had.
My 7 year old daughter is loving her paino lessons and is learning so much this summer! We will be continuing lessons for the rest of the year. Highly recommend Blooming Cactus Music!!!
Dr. Jeff is a great teacher. We are doing piano lessons for my 6 year old son, and flute for my 9 year old daughter. He even helped me find inexpensive instruments for them. Dr. Jeff is very patient with my incredibly energetic and TALKATIVE kids, refocusing them when they get offtrack during a lesson. They both look forward to their lessons, so I think that says alot about his teaching methods and how much they like him. (I know many adults who tell me they hated their music lessons as kids) I try hard not to have to cancel their lessons, but on the occasion it does happen he has been very accommodating to reschedule if possible. I would recommend Dr. Jeff to anyone young or old, who is interested in learning an instrument.
I started taking piano lessons with Judyta at the beginning of my freshman year of music college. Having never taken piano before, she made concepts easy to grasp and when she noticed I was struggling she was very willing to take things slow. Besides the fact that she is very personable, she is sweet and easy to get a long with. She not only has knowledge about the piano but extensive knowledge about other instruments, theory, and history, all key points that makes a great musician.
I have taken vocal lessons and songwriting coaching from Michael Daniel. In addition he has produced a few songs for me. Besides being an excellent, patient instructor with an unparalleled knowledge of rock and pop music, he makes me sound gooooooood. Very kind, ethical instructor.
I have been playing drums since 1982. Back in 1997, right before I moved to Phoenix AZ, I stopped playing for around 16yrs. When I got back to playing I tried to improve my technique and skills by myself and to some degree I did get better, however I noticed that advanced techniques and pieces of music were taking my body (hands and feet) a while to adjust to and I was experiencing a bunch of stiffness in my right forearm. I knew then that I could only get so far on my own and needed professional guidance, especially if I was going to get back out there playing live. I got with Lou a few months ago and he has not only corrected my technique, but my speed is coming about much faster, no more forearm stiffness, I'm learning at a much faster rate, I'm learning different styles of music, music and grooves that were hard for me to pick up on are much easier to learn, and my confidence in my playing is at it's highest. If your going to use a professional drum instructor I highly recommend Lou Stavris. He comes from a long line of drummers and has been playing professionally since his early teen years. Learn from somebody that knows what it takes to play professionally.
Vera is a wonderful teacher and mentor to my children. She is very organized, patient and friendly. She motivates them in a gentle and positive way which make them happy and excited to attend each session and to practice their piano lessons as well. I've seen remarkable improvement in my children's music ability as well as their grades and performance in school .
My son age 9 started taking guitar lessons from Rena a year ago. He can read any music and play almost anything she puts in front of him, because of the great teacher/musician she is. She dedicated to my child's education in life. Thank you Rena -----------Chrisdena
Ben is very personable and knows his stuff!
I offer drum lessons. I've been teaching students of all ages, from beginner to advanced, drawing from my many years of professional experience in the studio and live playing as well as touring. We combine what the student is interested in (more so for advanced) and what they need work on. To get you playing with less effort, more control, better ideas, on top of a very solid groove, I am using traditional books and years of teaching experience. I also offer music lessons, covering beginning piano. The student learns how to read and play notes, rhythms, chords, melodies and scales. I also teach bass guitar. The students will learn to read rhythms, notes on instrument and scales, approach to good technique, articulation and read tab and standard music.
My name is Zachary Smith. I'm a 22-year-old Arizona native, and I have been learning and playing music since I was about 10 years old. I have a superior ear for this hobby that I've grown to love so much! I have played the trumpet, drums and guitar (strings) well enough to teach others sufficiently regardless of playing level and have played piano, sax, flute and french horn well enough to teach someone in their beginning years.
I am providing drum lessons to ages 7 and up. I have been teaching for 5 years. I have cheap prices for the lesson you will receive. You will be playing a beat in two weeks. Call me.
I am a very hard worker, not the giving up type. I can take care of animals, give vocal lessons, and teach how to play instruments. No matter what the job I do, what I can make sure is I do it right.
