I use tools such as range of motion, functional movements (squatting, reaching, etc), muscle testing, and other orthopedic special tests. I am able to get a sense of how your body moves and what restrictions or compensations may be causing your pain . . ➡️Movement 🔹I focus on the area that is called fascia. It is a web-like tissue that surrounds your muscles and keeps all the organs relative in the correct space. In order for me to create space and apply the correct treatment, you will be in several different positions such as standing, sitting, side-lying, etc. In those positions, I may ask you to move a particular joint as I am applying the treatment for you to have the most effective results . . ➡️Learning from your experience. 🔹I value teaching my patients about their body’s and how it moves. I explain every step of the process and I am making sure that my patients fully comprehend what is being educated. After the treatment session is done, it doesn’t end there. I give all my patients some form of home care exercises such as mobility exercises, foam rolling exercises, DIY trigger point release instructions and much more.
