My name is Zachary Smith. I'm a 22-year-old Arizona native, and I have been learning and playing music since I was about 10 years old. I have a superior ear for this hobby that I've grown to love so much! I have played the trumpet, drums and guitar (strings) well enough to teach others sufficiently regardless of playing level and have played piano, sax, flute and french horn well enough to teach someone in their beginning years.

  • Guitar Lessons

I offer an effective guitar lessons for adults and children of all ages. Beginners are welcome. You can learn guitar the efficient way with a proven method based on over 30 years of experience and research. I am excited to be able to bring the G4 Guitar Method to Phoenix. The G4 Guitar Method is a uniquely structured system that is designed to develop proficiency of the seven essential guitar skills, namely as follows: 1. Picking (pick and finger style) 2. Chords 3. Arpeggios 4. Scales 5. Rhythm 6. Reading 7. Theory/Ear Training The proper development of these skills will give you the tools to play the songs and styles that you want to play. My teaching philosophy is to help my students develop their physical skills, intellectual understanding of music, and their own creativity and combine them to reveal the complete and unique musician within. Even in this golden age of information, the sad fact is that approximately 90% of aspiring guitarists will quit within a year. The two most common reasons are frustration and lack of confidence. As a certified G4 instructor, I can provide help that simply isn't available from websites or books. I am able to assess my students' skills and provide them with the knowledge and expertise needed to take them to the next level. I can teach my students what to work on and how to work on it to achieve maximum results. I provide accountability, motivation, and encouragement. The G4 Guitar Program is based on the 80/20 rule. The 80/20 rule yields 80% of results by focusing on the proper 20% of effort. You can literally learn guitar in a fraction of the usual time. I have three unique programs that are appropriate for students ages 3 and up. They are as follows: 1. Young beginner's program for students ages 3-6 2. Junior program for students ages 7-12 3. Adult program Visit my website to learn more and to download a free copy of the G4 Guitar Method.

Thumbtack Spotlight

Classics Unlimited Music LLC

(9 reviews)

Music has always been a part of Carolyn's life, and it was her sister and husband who encouraged her to start contracting string quartets and teaching private music lessons. She worked with a string quartet and has about 100 events in a year. Despite moving interstate, she still continued to showcase her expertise and started Classics Unlimited Music.

I teach all ages and levels of music. Many people have a dream to learn how to play music well. I know how to get them where they want to go in music. In the past I have taught many teen aged violin and viola students, and helped them to get into honor orchestras. These clients are looking for tasteful elegant music that has stood the test of time, and will make their event magical and memorable.

People hire her for string quartet mostly on special gatherings like weddings. Meanwhile, regular people book her for music lessons that range from violins, viola, cello, and more. As a result, many clients have benefited from her expertise. In fact, her favorite was working with them near a carousel.

I really believe in customer service. I listen to what the client would like for their event or as a private student. I look for ways that I can help them to achieve their dreams. I take a lot of personal pride in providing the best music possible. I feel that my job is to make them happy and give them the experience of a lifetime. It is my pleasure to be a part of their plans for the future.

If you are looking for a qualified and experienced private string teacher or music contractor, look no more and try Carolyn Broe now.
