My wife Cindy, and I, met Jean Paul Setlak more than thirty tears ago when we studied the french language under his tutelage. We found him to be the consummate educator. He successfully blended the role of brilliant linguist, discerning instructor, and patient mentor. We have continued a close friendship throughout the following years, while observing the evolution of this Renaissance Man. Aside from his formal education, Mr Setlak has pursued in depth studies and practice of music, religions, philosophy, yoga, and meditation, to name just a few. When I observed a few old oil paintings in his storage room, he remarked that they were from high school, but were determined to be lacking in talent. I immediately challenged him to commence painting again, which he did. A good teacher must also be a good student. During the next two decades, he studied portraiture of the Great Masters, then proceeded to create a body of paintings to rival the best of the best (see White Princess Art). Each and every day, Cindy and I are embraced with the beauty emitting from our walls. With Jean Paul Setlak, You do not only study a language. Rather, you embrace a culture and participate within the soul the people. Join him for a delightful journey to fluency. Larry Windes

I've taken about two months of introductory Spanish from Abigail, and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to learn Spanish, both because it is clear that she knows Spanish language and culture from personal experience and also because it is clear that she knows how to teach language. She uses a wide range of teaching resources, including group games, jokes, Spanish songs, and out-of-class worksheets. In addition to immersing students in Spanish, she has taught formal grammar rules which explain the mechanics of Spanish. All of these teaching methods complement each other well. She does a good job of connecting with the people she is teaching, and is very accommodating to people with concerns or needs. During college, there were some classes in which I wished I could go on learning indefinitely; that will definitely be the case for me while taking the Spanish class Abigail is teaching right now.

Eric is an extremely great tutor. I previously had tried multiple tutors and Rosetta stone - I had almost given up by tried again. I am an engineer so I like to know the how's and whys things are constructed. What Eric brought to the relationship was the ability to determine my learning style and how to encourage me to learn ask and learn more. He adapted to my style and I learned not only faster but he helped me fall more in love with the language and culture. I went from speaking a few words to I can read write watch movies and hold a conversation with Eric and in France. If you want to learn French and enjoy it. Eric is the person for you.

She was WONDERFUL! Such a terrific language tutor but she was also able to culturally prepare me for my trip abroad. I cannot recommend Karine more if you're looking for a professional, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable French tutor!

I met Eva as a possible French tutor for myself. She is very friendly, personable, and experienced as a teacher/tutor. Eva makes you immediately comfortable and has a good sense of humor which is important whenever learning a foreign language. I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to learn to read, write, and speak French.

I am a native Arabic and French speaker, born and raised in Morocco (a former French colony). I received a bachelor's degree in Arabic studies and law in Morocco, then I moved to Italy where I've lived for 10 years and earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in communication studies. During this period, I participated in a study-abroad program that gave me the opportunity to live in Paris for 1 year and attended La Sorbonne University. I worked as a tutor at University of Urbino helping students with their Arabic and French courses. I am also a certified intercultural mediator, so I worked with immigrants and refugees in Italy, teaching them Italian language and culture. If you are interested in learning Arabic, French or Italian, I would be happy to help you achieve your goals!

I'm a Phoenix based professional English to Russian (Russian to English) translator, Russian tutor and singer. Music, singing and languages are my main passions. I enjoy sharing my experience with people who have the same interests as me. My singing career started from attending art-aesthetic gymnasium in Russia where I took choir, sol-fa and musical literature classes. After experiencing singing in a choir, I started performing solo with European and American pop songs taking part in different Russian singing competitions. Singing is an art of opening yourself, your emotions, your soul for the music and lyrics of the song you sing. I can help you make your voice stronger, to feel the music, to get rid of the fear of performing and to learn how to energy others with your singing. I have a bachelor's degree in translation, and as a Russian native speaker, I can also give you Russian lessons, helping you to learn more about Russian culture, authentic traditions and people, as well as translate any kind of texts from Russian to English of from English to Russian.
