Great Experience! Fast response and appointment. Our new nine month old shelter rescue refused to walk on a leash was even scared of the leash/collar. He would sit down and refuse to move. We travel a lot so leash training is imperative when staying in hotels! Bruce's training skills are exceptional, whether the training is for the dog or myself lol...it worked! He had my little puppy walking on a leash/wearing the collar within one session.. this is after one month of me trying to train him myself. Every day since he's been walking with a collar and a leash with no problems.... of course he still get scared here and there of other digs or people but is doing so well! We felt that Bruce's skillful and gentle approach really helped our little Kingston. Highly recommend. Thanks Bruce!
My biggest problem with my cocker spaniel was not being able to keep the dog in the house and he was unable to sit, wait, place, and come, after proper training the dog now stays in the house without problems, my dog can now can sit , place, wait and come on command .I felt the training time was constant and about right. I would recommended k9katelynn and can be contacted via phone upon request. Mary E ..Cave Creek 3/1/10
This was great training for my puppy. He is so much more disciplined and even calmer! He picks up on new tricks faster and still retains the old tricks he’s learned. He now has manners and never really misbehaves anymore!! This was an awesome experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dog training service!
Renee's classes were so relaxed and fun. We got a new puppy and this was the first time I'd ever gone to dog training classes. Renee explains how a dog thinks and learns. Teaching them new things is easier than I though it would be. You do need time and patience. I wish I would have done it with our previous dogs. Thanks Renee!
Anita is looking after our two dogs, walking them and doing training with our puppy. She is excellent! She gets on very well with the dogs (and our cats), goes above and beyond expectations and does extra little jobs we haven't even asked for! The animals love her and I don't know what we would do without her!
Kim did an outstanding job with our Rottweiler puppy. She was very thorough and we started seeing the transformation with our dog by the 2nd lesson. Her follow up with us was excellent. I highly recommend Kim to anyone that needs dog training.
Coty is an excellent trainer. He works magic with the dogs and is great at explaining his philosophy so you can continue to work with your dog effectively afterwards.
Madison is awesome she is a real professional she is polite good with dogs and there human counter parts I would recommend her to anyone that has puppy issues in a heartbeat.
We adopted our Taco, he's a Chi/Terrier mix which was estimated to be about 1.1 mo old, back in Dec of 2015 from the Arizona Small Dog Rescue. (My oldest son and I just went to volunteer and came home with him) He is full of life, extremely hyper, has the cutest floppy ears and is just a cutie. We've always been cat people so this was all new to us. About a month later we adopted Sam from the same organization, however, he was in a foster home. He's Lab mix who is very clumsy, lovable, curios and has the cutest little wiggle when he walks. He was estimated to be about 3 mo old. As the days progressed so did their aggressive and dominating behavior towards us, the kids and the 4 cats we have in the home. I was completely stressed out and had second thoughts about the entire situation. I couldn't give up on them. That was NOT an option. I researched different trainings that were available through the local pet stores and online. I was trying to train them myself and got as far as sit and paw. Taco would lay down but wouldn't stay down. I used treats to do so. I said to myself, "what happens when the treats run out? I can't keep giving them treats to do as I wish"! After careful research through the internet I came upon Galen with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team. I looked her up on Facebook and contacted, through private message, a couple of her clients. I was happy to hear back from them as they had all good things to say about her and her training techniques. I am happy to report that both Sam and Taco are no longer fighting for the "alpha" role. They have their moments, however, but once corrected they stop. She took Sam to board with her for 3 weeks. Sam came back a completely different dog. Taco went to her for 2 weeks with an overlapping week with Sam. Taco has come back a different dog. They are both more relaxed, listen to commands and just a joy to have. I don't worry about them hurting the kids or the cats. We still have 2 more sessions with off leash training for the boys left. One tonight and the last one next week. My words can't justify the amazing progress these fur babies have made with Galen's help. I went to the AZ Small Dog Rescue and I almost made them cry because of the amount of work we've put into Sam and Taco to really become a loving and fun part of our family. We didn't give up on them. If and WHEN we decide to adopt another fur baby I WILL be calling to Galen for help. Oh, she really worked with us and our schedule to fit our training sessions in. She kept us updated while the boys were boarded and didn't hesitate to answer any questions or concerns we may have had. I, ABSOLUTELY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, RECOMMEND GALEN. We will miss her, Jesse and Cruze when our training sessions. Sincerely, Dawn, Junior, Anthony, Coltin, (Dogs) Sam and Taco, (Cats) Fuzz, Midnight, Campus and Mystery!!!!!
I'm a first time dog owner and really had no idea what I was doing. We found Brandy on Thumbtack site and we decided to give it a shot. Max was already 7 months old so we had no idea what she would know so the idea of obedience training sounded wonderful. Brandy definitely taught the basics as well as the other things that we wanted with our dog. Brandy also talked through issues we've had, given great advice and tips and Working with Max on them has definitely made a huge difference. Max has learnt some amazing behaviors. He can sit, come, sleep and walk loosely on a leash. Our bond with our puppy is incredible and we owe a lot to Brandy for helping me overcome my fear of dogs. I recommend her for owners with dogs of any age. Brandy came to our house and totally understood my dog's dilemmas. She taught positive training techniques that actually worked! She helped us prevent Max from resource guarding and regain order in the house.
Since most dog training is for the owners and not the pet, Cat knows how to train both animal and owner. What I love about her methods is that they are all non aggressive or punitive. She could be Scottsdale's Dog Whisper she is so good.
I just love how she help me to get my dog to stay off of my little siblings and the other dogs too. I love how she has my little brothers be involved with the training. She is so good with dogs and I recommend her she will give you good tips
Beth does go above and beyond. She is caring and gives helpful tips on training my dog. When I leave I feel confident that my dog will be well taken care of.
She took care of our two dogs while we had a last minute over 2 night trip. She did not stay at our house but made the drive twice daily to feed, walk, and play with them. Mary is very personable and I can tell she loves animals. Our dogs adored her and we will definitely be calling her in the future.
