I've been training with Matt for approximately 4 months. I was very out of shape and approximately 25 pounds overweight. My goal was to tone, strengthen, and lose weight. I've lost about 15 pounds, I feel great and look so much better in my cloths. Not only is Matt an expert at strength training and nutrition but he is very motivational. I've tried numerous trainers in the past but I've never stuck with the program long enough to see results. Matt's style is the perfect blend of structure, discipline, and some humor to keep you motivated through your sessions. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
These reason Matt is outstanding is his knowledge. Matt has two college degrees. One degree in fitness and the other in nutrition. Most personal trainers hold a certificate. You won't be disappointed.
Nadine and Joe are AMAZING! Staying motivated has always been a huge issue for me, but they keep the workouts challenging and engaging. I've been going for about 2 months now and am almost 30lbs down and have never felt better! They are both super friendly and a blast to be around - their positive energy is so infectious that I always leave in a better mood and look forward to the next visit. Even though I leave each session looking like I stood outside during a rainstorm, working out with them is the highlight of my week. I would highly recomend Joe and Nadine to anybody looking for a trainer.

6 years ago, when I started seeing Carolyn, I lost 30 lbs. I could have never done this on my own. Carolyn helps me stay focused, uses gentle accountability, and helps me set realistic expectations for myself. She notices when I need more (or less!) even before I do. She is attentive to my needs and flexible as life circumstances change my plans. Carolyn makes me feel like I have a partner in the struggle to remain healthy and confident. Brian and Andrea are not only great trainers but they also truly care about their clients. They take the time to walk through the meal plans and answer any questions you may have. Always on time when its time to train. They pay attention to your form and make sure you get the best results possible during your workout. I have done group training and personal training with Nick. He is one of the most knowledgeable trainers I have ever worked which gives him the tools to make a plan that is geared toward each clients personal goals. I would recommend Nick and After It Training to anyone.
During the process of finding a trainer to help me reach my goal, I tried a couple of different workout gyms and trainers and none of them came close to Eddie's training. I finally made myself go to training and Eddie motivates me to keep coming back, the changes I see and feel have been great. Friends and family have even noticed my body is slimmer and more fit. The nutrition plan he help put together has changed my eating habits considerably. He is always changing up the workout, so it's never repetitive and he really keeps you motivated! Last summer I decided I was ready to look into exercise assist type options - gym, personal trainer, classes, etc. During my search, I came across Keleigh at Balanced Strength. I liked the idea of being able to work out in a home-based setting, and she had excellent reviews, so I emailed her. She was prompt in her reply and very courteous. I met with Keleigh the following week and I learned just how challenging Pilates is. But I liked it enough to go back . Keleigh creates challenging workouts, but she's also very good at making sure you rest when you need to. And if something doesn't feel right during any part of the workout, she's good at making instant modifications to avoid injury. Keleigh is also good about changing things up. Minus a few scheduling conflicts, I've seen her weekly for 6 months now and have only repeated a couple of exercises that I can remember. We have also incorporated a few HIIT workouts and even a hybrid of HIIT with Pilates. I have struggled with liking exercise my entire life, but I actually look forward to my weekly sessions with Keleigh. I highly recommend her!
The best trainer in Scottsdale, period. Dolores is an extraordinary trainer and fitness coach. I highly recommend the STARTUP program. Not only do you get a feel for Dolores' expertise and capabilities, she provides a comprehensive assessment of your physical strength, cardio-fitness, and flexibility. The assessment also serves as a benchmark to measure your results from Day 1. I saw quick gains in my strength, stamina, flexibility and more importantly, I lost fat in my mid-section. Plus, she really knows her nutrition and she's so nice! Tough, but nice.
If you are going to spend your time and your money, hire Dane Setner. He's the best. If you want a well equipped gym and the best trainer there, Dane Setner is the trainer for you. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment and how to target the different areas of the body. He also knows nutrition and the foods to eat to improve your metabolize. He nudges, but he does not push. He is a gentle person with an explosive body and brain power to match. His focus is on his clients and how to help them attain their goals. Whether it is losing weight, training for bodybuilding competition, or a beauty contest, Dane will get you there. If you follow his directions, he will help yo meet your goals.
I started with true results last march with Brian as my trainer. I was 280 pounds and didn't feel "good". With hard work and encouragement from Brian. I lost 60 lbs in the first four months and feel "great". Brian not only knows how to train individuals for there goals and needs but pushes you without the drama you find in some gyms and trainers. Gage is the best trainer/ body work coach-massage therapist I have ever had. I am a unique patient, I have a spinal cord injury which causes right side weakness. Gage put together a customized program to strengthen my muscles and help with body stabilization and walking. Gage is extremely knowledgeable, he knows the body inside and out. I am confident training with Gage because he not only tells me what exercises to do but he explains why. Gage has showed me an overall healthy lifestyle, he measured my BMI and is keeping track of my progress. He also suggests meals to go with my program. Also, Gage does bodywork, he is great at stretching and getting all the tight knots out. I love the mix of training and body work that Gage does, it helps promote blood circulation, strengthening and healing. Overall I love working with Gage because I feel like he genuinely cares about my well being. He pushes me because he believes in me, he doesn't just treat me like a number. Liz Brooks is truly an amazing personal trainer! She works with me as a whole person; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Because of her efforts, I have lost a total of 142lbs so far, I am stronger (both physically and mentally), I am more confidant, I am healthy, and I am just genuinely happier with my life! I'd been stuck at about 125lbs for a few months & working out with another trainer in the gym. Although I was building muscle and my body was changing, I wasn't losing enough fat & the scale didn't budge. I'm only 5' so ideally I'd like to be at 100lbs but more importantly than the number is eliminating more body fat. When I started working with Patrick, he pushed me more in training sessions and pushed what I was doing on my own; incorporated accountability, weigh ins, food log, etc which is when things started moving faster. I'm down to 110lbs and have never been leaner or stronger - even when I weighed 100lbs. 4 months ago I couldn't get through a mile-never thought I could ever be a runner. I thought I would die after 10 minutes on the stairmaster even though I was in fair shape. Now, I can't wait to hit miles 4, 5 & 6 because I feel like I could run forever at that point.
Jason is very patient working with a guy like me who has a schedule that changes too much for someone in his profession. He is very talented as a trainer...he knows his stuff very well for both the young athlete and 50+ guys (me) who want the tone, muscles, etc but are limited to exercise time, desire and a physique that doesn't act like it did once upon a time!
