I am writing this review as I eat the last bit of delicious leftovers from our work holiday dinner that Susan catered. Everything was perfect from the moment she arrived. We were having a murder mystery themed party and she even came dressed to the theme! Everyone was raving about the food - the Prosciutto Chicken was a hit! We also used her bartender who was wonderful. We will definitely be using her for our next dinner!
We wanted to throw a special "50th Anniversary" for my folks in a fun, relaxed, Caribbean fashion. Mark Kearney did more than deliver! He and his team turned our kitchen into a Caribbean paradise...from the mouth watering Pan Seared Sesame Seed Ahi Tuna, Barbeque Foie Gras and Coconut Crusted Prawns to the unbelievably delicious Jamaican Baby Rack of Lamb and Wild Bahamian Lobster Tail. This was truly the first party we've hosted where we enjoyed being guests. Mark took complete control which left us a little nervous at first, but so relieved and pleasantly surprised when the appetizers started coming out of the kitchen. Our guests were also overwhelmed with how incredible the food looked and tasted - we're still receiving compliments...from the same people. We're already discussing throwing another party using the Mark Kearney Group...this time for our friends. Thank you Mark for making my folks 50th a night to remember!
From the quote process all the way through to catering our company picnic, Pam with The Pit Stop BBQ was outstanding. She was excellent in answering all of our questions, arrived on time, cooked AMAZING BBQ, and served all of our guests with a smile on her face. We couldn't have been more pleased with The Pit Stop BBQ and we will definitely be using their services again. I couldn't say enough positive things about their catering services and the food they cooked. The pig candy was my favorite and the ribs were cooked to perfection. Don't hesitate - they're awesome!
Nicole catered a birthday party for me. The food was above what was I had envisioned. Nicole did a great job of listening to what I wanted for the food at the party and added her own touch and it was wonderful. I could seriously give great, specific reviews on every item she made, but I have to rave about the CURRY CHICKEN SALAD she made. It was so amazing that the people at the party and I still talk about it and remember how good it was. One person even asked if she can regularly buy it from her in bulk (lol). Nicole also nailed it on presentation with great colors and aesthetically pleasing displays. Lastly, she was very professional, reliable, and friendly. I would highly recommend her for any type of catering, she will go above and beyond.
Chef Keith and his staff were great! He arrived early, set up amazing food stations and a bar for our non-profit cocktail party. The lamb chops, POKE station, "mushroom en croute", short rib skewers, cheese platter, and dessert bar complete with deep fried brownies were all a huge hit. Chef Keith really impressed my guests and made me look like a superstar hostess. I would hire him again and many of my friends and associates took his card for future catering events. Loved the bartender, server and Keith's helpers. My kitchen was spotless also...worth it!
Nancy came to my home and prepared a plant based dinner for our Moai group. It included stuffed portobello mushrooms, roasted vegetables, stuffed mini peppers and papaya lime sorbet. The food was excellent and was enjoyed by all. Nancy is professional, very knowledgable, warm and friendly.
We asked our friends and family members who had recently been married what they thought the most important part of the wedding was, and they unanimously said "THE FOOD". From the moment we requested a quote Bill's attention to detail made it a wonderful and memorable experience. We were provided with and absolutely delicious lunch at our tasting; where Bill customized our menu to fit our unique wedding theme. The staff was friendly, informative, professional and genuinely warm and kind. Bill's help however moved beyond his fabulous food. For any and EVERY coordination mishap, he was there with creative and inventive solutions. His staff went above and beyond, even assisting in set up and decoration. We were truly overwhelmed by their generosity and their willingness to be of assistance. On our wedding day, as we ran from the car to the venue to avoid the terrible storm; we were greeted by Bill with a mini buffet for the bridal party so that we would have a chance to actually eat at our wedding. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. I cannot describe how delicious it was or how beautifully and artfully arranged. I truly cannot do it justice. When asked, our guest said that hands down, it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Our menu included custom flank steak sliders with asian slaw, a variety of sushi, mini ribs, chicken skewers, grilled vegetable stuffed crepes, procuitto wrapped asparagus, endive spoons filled with tabouleh, chicken sate, and so much more. The service was impeccable and after everything was done, the staff cleaned and left everything immaculate. Most importantly, Bill was sensitive and understanding of our situation. You see , we were two brides. Bill and his staff were shining examples of what it is to treat everyone with equality and dignity and respect. We were afraid of vendors not wanting to work with us and Bill took all that anxiety away. Through his vast network he found amazing and supportive vendors who were ready to celebrate with us and were empowered by our decision to get married. We cannot thank Bill enough for the many kindnesses he bestowed on us and we cannot wait to eat at his amazing restaurant again. - C & A
Chef Garland catered a 50th birthday party for me. The theme was a 1965 cocktail party. He worked with me to come up with some creative takes on classic 1960s appetizers like deviled eggs and pigs in blankets. The pricing was very competitive and he stayed within the budget. The food was all delicious and the service was stellar.
Coalescence over seen by Chef L. Clumeck is an all in one catering experience providing the patron with a supreme dining atmosphere. Not only do they cater to any and all dietary needs but the food in its flavors and presentation are paramount. I have personally been lucky enough to enjoy a farfalle pasta dish done with a soft but luscious Italian style dressing, roasted asparagus in a balsamic reduction that makes my mouth water now and a variety of personalized pastries each one better than the last! I would highly recommend Coalescence to anyone looking to bring amazing palette enticement to their next event.
I love the Island Boy Spices. My favorite is Beach Bum; I use it on everything. Just last night I put it on my asparagus that I roasted, it turned out really good. One of my favorite things to do is make beer butt chicken. I put the Beach Bum seasoning all over the chicken and then bake so good!
John & his crew catered our office Holiday Party, and we could not have been more pleased! John was a pleasure to communicate with, setting the event was a snap! We had a constant flow of fresh pizza, salads and roasted veggies that kept both the adults and kids happy :) Fahrenheit LA's use of fresh ingredients and seasonal vegetables are what make the food stand out and combined with the level of professionalism & friendliness from John & his staff- Amazing! Chef LaTay prepared an Excellent Brunch for my Father- in-Law's Home Going Celebration. The menu she suggested was a Hugh Hit! Pleasing to the palette and very nicely displayed. Everyone raved about the cheese grits and roasted potatoes, I still get compliments and the event was nine months ago! Since the event was buffet style her team also took charge of announcing and directing when each table came up an added plus for our family. Thank you Latay!

The service Chef John provided was AMAZING from beginning to end! I wanted my guests to have fresh warm food; therefore, he arrived early to cook and set up. We had chicken and beef taquitos with rice and beans let me not forget the delicious appetizers (pigs in a blanket, deviled eggs and nachos with all sides). Chef John is extremely clean and very professional. He has a variety of options to choose from, you tell him what you want and he'll blow you and your guests away. I will definitely hire him again for our next party. If your looking for a chef, Iook no more, I highly recommend Chef John to cater your next party!
I had a small dinner party for eight. I let her pick the menu, which included beautiful and tasty hors d'oeuvres, salad, tri-tip (with a wonderful sauce), roasted veggies, cheese & garlic toast, plus my favorite Cabernet, Clos du Bois. Dessert was a very rich chocolate (something I can't even pronounce), served with a wonderful roasted coffee.
I needed a chef for a dinner with family and close friends, and didn't want to (nor was I capable of ) cooking for 8 people. I found Susan on Thumbtack and what a great experience. We had some dietary requests such as the meal being dairy free.. Susan gave us some ideas/options, and after discussing what we liked the entire meal was amazing, great food family style. We had barbecued skirt steak with the most amazing chimichurri sauce, perfectly roasted fingerling potatoes, with salad, and vegetables and for desert personal fruits tarts with ice cream. Oh and to start, the most amazing curried butternut squash soup, just enough to get the taste buds going. I couldn't recommend Susan higher, everyone had a great time, super easy to deal with and such a great person. Thanks Susan, looking forward to next time.
I cannot recommend Are You Being Served Catering Enough! Rozanna and her staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. The Food and the Service were Amazing. Our guests were all very well taken care of. They really enjoyed the entire event. My Husband and I were married at a Winery in the Dry Creek Valley with 100+ guests. We only had five months to plan the big day. Rozanna was so helpful and made me feel at ease. She was a huge part of planning the event from taking care of ALL of the rentals, designing an amazing menu of all of our favorite dishes and providing superb service. The staff at Are You Being Served Catering was so professional and friendly. Our Guests were very pleased with the service. They catered to our every need. They took care of everything. We couldnt have asked for more. They set up and took down our entire event and provided first class service the entire day. We had an hour long appetizer hour immediately following our ceremony so we could take our photos. I was worried everyone would get antsy waiting for us to finish up but they were happily enjoying themselves eating 3 choices of appetizers in the beautiful cocktail area on the lawn her staff created. It was fun for everyone to mingle and eat something very tasty before being seated for dinner. Our wedding dinner was so delicious. We had all of our favorite foods. The Tri Tip was the best I have ever had along with her horseradish sauce. Wow was I was a happy bride. The BBQ chicken, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes were also great. We had a pasta bar as well which the kids and the adults at our wedding especially had fun with. There was something for everyone. The vegetarians were very pleased and had just as many great options to choose from. Our guests raved about the food. I heard over and over how great it ALL tasted. I am so happy Rozanna was our Caterer! It was the best decision I made for the event besides marrying my Husband of course  Rozanna was very patient and considerate with all of my indecisions and the typical frantic Bride moments. She was always available to answer my questions and make me feel at ease. I felt very confident that she was going to do an amazing job and she went above and beyond my expectations!!! Every detail was perfection. The food, the staff, the planning and the extremely valuable advice she provides after having so much experience in catering. I VERY highly recommend Are You Being Served Catering, Rozanna and her extremely well trained staff! You will not be disappointed. I hosted my father's 50th birthday party of 150 people. I needed staffing and catering. After speaking to well over 10 companies it was getting exhausting. Everyone's pricing was way too high and most of the food was nothing special. I found BritMo through Thumbtack and after a brief phone consult I knew they were the right ones! I met with them for a tasting and their food was delicious! I particularly loved their spin on pigs in a blanket, which included sauerkraut and mustard. The two bartenders and three wait staff they sent were great! I am so happy I choose them!
