Paul has been great to work with, he's flexible, and knowledgeable on what works best for our son. Plus our lessons are in the comfort of our home! He always communicates with us on how our son is doing and if he needs to practice more, so he can show improvement on learning notes. Paul also purchased a bass guitar so he can work with our son on learning the bass as well. I also asked if he can help us shop and pick out a reasonable amp and he agreed to help out and suggested a few places to shop at. Working with Paul has made this experience easy as I was worried of finding a good fit for our son. I would recommend Paul to anyone and you can't beat his rate!
I have been playing guitar for more than 10 years. Decided to go back to lesson again. He is a guy who listen to your concern and apply his knowledge to help you improve. Coming up with his own lesson.. going over the material in a pace where I can follow through.
Best music lessons around! James is so patient and positive in a warm environment and is VERY talented with what he does. He has his own system for teaching his students at any age. I highly would recommend Peaceland Music for guitar, bass, drums and piano! You go in for a lesson and always leave feeling inspired. 😎✌️
Beginner electric bass guitar lessons, 1 hour per week, at Rancho Canyon Music. I have been taking lessons with Lou for two months. Lou is an experienced, knowledgeable, and patient instructor. Additionally, he is personable and has a good sense of humor which makes the lessons fun. Lou finds ways to easily relate a theory or technique to you in everyday terms. He is a formally trained musician who performs regularly for audiences. His training and regular performing, coupled with his teaching techniques makes him my first choice for music instruction. Lou arrives on time and is ready begin working with you, evidence he values your time as well. Lou goes above and beyond for his students by providing in class resources, useful online content, and instructional online videos. All of which I have found helpful and not readily found in other music instructors. Lou can quickly analyze what is happening and provide you with helpful input to help you understand and improve. It is clear to me Lou understands the teaching process. He explains things in a logical order, using building blocks of learning. I would highly recommend Lou to all of my family and friends. An hour lesson is filled with easily digestible information and practical application. My understanding and enjoyment of playing my bass guitar has been energized working with Lou.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Kimberly via Skype for about six years. I really like her teaching style which is systematic and focused. She tailors her lessons to my goals and time. Her teaching method is to help you gain insight and skill through patient practice of gradually changing exercises. She doesn't snow you with theory, but presents it to you in digestible amounts just when it will make sense. She welcomes questions and I always learn from our discussions. She has led me to learn techniques on the guitar that I was absolutely sure I could never learn. For something to seem impossible at the start, to seem possible a week later and to be routine a month later is amazingly uplifting. Kimberly's background was first a life of teaching herself and playing gigs with all kinds of bands in all kinds of places. She has also deepened and strengthened her knowledge by gaining academic degrees in guitar and jazz and also by studying under masters. This gives her an incredibly deep understanding of learning and teaching music, an immense skill in playing guitar, and an appreciation for the challenges of playing with other people. I especially love her continued enthusiasm for guitar and that she really enjoys teaching. I have found in Kimberly the best of teachers and highly recommend her without reservation.
I was looking for a guitar teacher and after years of trying to play my guitar I bought in the early 80s I tried so hard to teach myself, and after months of looking at all kinds of self-help books, and the internet I got stuck, just like all the countless millions out there and gave up! I wasnt getting any younger, so I dusted off my guitar again in 2014 and sent out to find a teacher I started searching a few web sites for teachers, I even had a chance to interviewed a few over the phone. The last person I called was Damien. As we talked I knew right then after our long conversation he was the right person to teach me guitar. He took on this 59 year old who has a passion to learn, without very little prior knowledge of a guitar. Now 60 Ive learned so much after my 5th month and Im so grateful Damien took me on! He has a ton of patiences, hes a wonderful person and one heck of a guitar player!!! For all of you who want to learn how to play a guitar, or you know of someone whos interested, I highly recommend Damien, a guy who knows his way around a guitar, a bass, a piano and even the drums. So what do you have to loose, stop wishing about playing that guitar, and start learning how to play a guitar! Damien Smith, great guy, great teacher Rock On! Les G
At the age of 9 my son Julian started to take group guitar lessons from Pat. After that session I ask Pat if he does private lessons, he said yes but its at La Puente. So from Chino Hills I took my son to La Puente every Saturday for the next 5 years. He is very good with kids and I highly recommend him. My son now 18 enjoys writing songs & performing.
I have two nieces and one nephew. Taking lessons at home, my eldest niece started reading music, learning guitar and piano several days after her kindergarten ceremony. By the time she entered 6th grade she outperformed me in many areas even though I was also taking lessons from Ernest. He always shows great care in the process of learning, practicing, and mastering the instrument. My nephew ended up picking up the guitar and my youngest niece acquired the language of music & instruction possibly as early as her crawling under the keyboard and listening to her older sisters lessons over the years. By the time the youngest entered 1st grade she was composing legitimate piano pieces and all three kids eventually shined as the brightest music stars in their K-8 school. Ernest is sensitive to the needs and interests of the learner. Whenever possible he provides additional time. His foresight and attention to detail facilitates the maturation process and sustained growth available only through the delivery and mastery of his craft. My niece expressed gratitude by giving him drawings of the sun, clouds, hearts, trees and smiley faces beneath the words, tHANk yOu ErnSt. Grandma also happily made snacks and treats for Ernest. At this time I cant think of anything for Ernest to improve because the proof can be heard in the music. I will be more than happy to discuss our music lessons with ErnSt.
Lucas is a very talented musician and teacher. He has taught guitar to both of my kids for the past 5 years. He's patient, fun and willing to tailor lessons to the individual's needs and personal goals. My 13 year old son (who has taken lessons with Lucas since 2nd grade) has learned to read notes, play chords and how to improvise on the guitar through his lessons with Lucas. He plays in our church band and does very well.
Really glad I discovered this site. Without it, I wouldn't have discovered Dave. He's a real down to Earth kind of guy with an excellent background in bass and adaptable teaching styles for any level of student!
Ivan is great... I've just had two lessons and am definitely continuing on!. I've never picked up a guitar, ever and am a complete novice adult. He's extremely patient, and has a thorough and complete knowledge of every aspect of the guitar. He guides you through (albeit clumsy attempts on my part) every aspect of playing, and spends time with you revisiting each chord until it rings out clear. I would highly recommend him on all levels!
Five years ago, when my daughters were 6 and 8 years old, they received guitars for Christmas. They had one lesson at a local guitar store, but the teacher talked to them as if they were adults and the information went way over their heads. They were frustrated and lost. Then, we found Aaron and everything changed. His love for guitar and teaching shined through, from the moment we walked in the door. Aaron's teaching methods and personality were perfect. My little girls were hooked and couldn't wait until their lessons each week. They were motivated to practice and excited to perform at the end of each session. The pace at which they excelled was astounding. With Aaron's background in so many genres, they could experiment with different styles of music. When they turned 10 and 12 years of age, they decided that they wanted to audition for our local art school's guitar program. Aaron worked with them on their classical audition pieces over the months and they were both accepted! Now they are 11 and 13 years old and are still in love with guitar. They continue to attend the art school in the guitar program, perform all over the place and even enjoy practicing. Having a successful learning experience early on is so important and Aaron played a big part in that. We highly recommend Aaron as a guitar teacher for any age.
Jason is awesome. It started out with my daughter taking lessons from him, now it's both of us. First of all, my daughter Lauren is 5 years old. 5. Literally just started Kindergarten. She can't read - but she can do a power chord. That's all due to Jason's help. It takes serious patience to teach a five year old how to play guitar. Not just patience... but Jason is a pleasure to have in our home. He's great with my daughter. And... great at teaching an adult too. I've only been playing guitar for a few months, but people think I've been at it a while.
I meet him at his little studio for about half hour, went over my goals I had as a bass player no Charge. Im a 50 year old man who's been tring to learn bass. Have lots of books and computer aids like songster,Ultimate guitar pro,ect.. . He found my main weekness and started to work on it. In 4 weeks i have learned more than i have in 3 years. His lessons are fun and very informative. Highly recommend Evan Chudnow very professional. If you want to learn bass you need a teacher, books alone and computer aids don't cut it. I should have gotten myself a teacher 3 years ago instead of spend money on books and computer aid. There no substitution like having a good teacher and having the satisfaction of seeing Progress in such a short time. Thanks Evan !!
We are so lucky to have met such an outstanding, caring and friendly music teacher. Kelly Apgar and her wonderful array of instructors make music lessons fun and enjoyable for my three daughters, who take piano, guitar and, voice lessons. Within months of taking music lessons, my daughters were reading music and playing songs! An added benefit to working with Elite Musique is that they prepare students for passing the Royal School of Music exams. Kelly and her staff are nurturing and patient with their students. Kids learn how to play an instrument while developing the love of music!
Jasper is one of the premier talents I've had the pleasure of recording. When I wanted to brush up on my bass skills he was the obvious choice. Patient and disarming, he's a wonderful instructor. Armed with a deep understanding of the mechanics of music, he can score (a disappearing art among modern players) and perform technically at the highest level, yet his most compelling skill remains his taste. I recommend anyone with access to his talent as an instructor to seize the opportunity.
Awesome place for kids to learn and master the art of music... My daughter took guitar, piano and voice lessons... Unfortunately we had to move and she can no longer attend... I wish they would open a location near Riverside so my daughter could continue with her art education... If you're looking for professional and affordable music classes for your kids then Piano Place Music and Arts Center is the right place for them. I am happy that my daughter had the opportunity to be a student at this family owned music school and I hope she can come back in the near future..... Beautiful family and very nice/professional teachers!
Great skills to teach. Friendly way to communicate. Perfect sence of humor. Strongly recommended. Rouben Sekoyan, Paralegal.
Mr. Graf was my very first music teacher. Amazing man. He encouraged me to explore multiple instruments, and made learning to play, read, and make music exciting and fun. I will never forget his passion, energy, and his awesome hair
