Joyee Lin of Thinque has been nothing short of amazing. Professional with results to show. My daughter started working with Joyee a couple of months ago. Within six lessons, my daughter's composite ACT score went from a 28 prior to working with Joyee to a 32. Amazingly, her science score went from a 25 to a 32. Those numbers are the end result of Joyee's professional approach to teaching. During the lesson, Joyee utilizes a number of methods to present the material. It must be said that my daughter took his instruction seriously and worked hard on the material which was provided to her. The result was a good example of team work in which my daughter could receive, in addition to immediate instruction, quick review and understanding after working through the material. Joyee makes it easy to work around a busy lifestyle as he schedules and responds to correspondence promptly. We can't offer him enough praise. Joyee is offering an amazing service and we were so glad to have been referred to him.

Me being a high school student taking AP classes is a difficult challenge. This was especially true when sophomore year came around when I took AP Biology and thought it would be easy. I was proven wrong when those first few grades came and AP was not looking good. I knew and my mom knew that we need help. That's when we found Fred. I can say that this experience truly helped me a lot. After a while I began to actually understand the material which was proven on how my AP grade improved. If someone were to ask me who would I recommend for tutoring then Fred is the person you are searching for. One thing you can sure expect is be preapered to work hard and give your all.

I had 52 amazing French lessons with Eliane. She is kind, patient, and an expert teacher. I started as an absolute newbie and in a year I become an avid French music listener, being able to understand the lyrics. Additionally, as a native French tutor, Eliane taught me how to speak French with a correct rhythm and intonation. I strongly recommend Eliane to everyone who wants to learn French.Elle est magnifique!

Patricia has given English lessons to our 3 children, 2 hours a day, for 2 months in May and June 2015 in France. As French native speakers, the objective was to make them all feel at ease in English (spoken and written) in order to join an international English speaking school in September. Camille, 13 years old, had already some school knowledge of English, and Sarah, 11 years old, had very few knowledge of English. Despite of that, the 2 girls decided to take the lessons together and Patricia adapted very well to the level of each girl, making them feel as taking nearly private lessons, sharing perfectly her time between the 2 girls. She was able to use the strengths and weaknesses of each girl to build a team spirit to achieve each of them goal : good communication skills for interpersonal relations and a good written level to adapt to academic learnings. Cyrille, 7 years old, didn't have any knowledge of English and the objective was to get him used to listen and understand basic English. Again Patricia succeeded in this goal perfectly. Cyrille was very scared to start his first lesson and did not want to go, but after all he did not want the first lesson and all the others to stop ! Patricia was always extremely patient, enthusiastic, positive, constructive and fun all the time ! The children did theoretical exercices, as well as some practical ones, such as cooking or shopping, and of course lots of conversation. They all loved the lessons with her. Today, after one month of schooling in English, we can confirm that Patricia’s lessons were very helpful and allow our children to succeed in getting well-adapted to their new environment and working methods. Therefore, I highly recommend Patricia as a tutor as she is highly competent, efficient, and able to adapt to all type of levels and ages, from young boy to teenager.

My company gives tours on electric bicycles. I had a large group coming from France. I hired Patricia to ride along and translate my information and stories into French. She was wonderful!! She made a special trip in advance to meet us and make sure she knew our location and to learn exactly what would be expected of her, even though I had already hired her by phone. On the day of our ride she was a gem. Very helpful. Patricia is friendly and fun and not at all shy about speaking to a group. She had no problem understanding my English. She is the kind of person who can see what needs to be done and does it. She was very helpful in translating instructions during training. She was perfect during the tour in the translation of stories into French. She helped a person who was having a problem with his bicycle and happily traded bicycles. The French tourists simply loved her and so did I. Patricia made the day extra special for our French visitors and made them feel comfortable. She was more than a translator, she was a team player. Tres magnifique! Merci Patricia, Barb Wittels Owner & Tour Manager Pedal...or Not Electric bike tours

Alex went above and beyond to help me succeed in my French class. I didn't know how to put together sentences before him, let alone speak with the proper accent. He was so patient with me and made me a better French writer. I stepped away from a super American accent to a far more French one. He did this through several different pronunciation exercises and even communicated with me in full French at the end of our lessons and would challenge me to try to speak full French back. I felt like I was living in Paris! He is so sweet and even provided me with insights about being a true parisienne for when I study abroad there or work there in the future. Learning French is my passion, and he made that passion come alive. I am truly so grateful to him, and now we have hour long phone calls once a week in French to ensure that I don't lose what I have learned from him. He is detail oriented, as well as an exceptional teacher, and even more interesting person. He has lived all around the world, and always has fascinating stories to tell! I would 100000% recommend him as a tutor. You will not be disappointed!
