This review is long overdue. They stepped in with a photo booth for my wedding on 08/06/2016 after the people we originally booked fell through less than two weeks before our wedding. They travelled for our wedding, were professional, prompt, and the guests loved the booth! Their prices are also amazing! I felt saved by Will and his crew for stepping in at the last hour and being there when I needed them. I hate to say it...but I struggle writing reviews. I don't enjoy it, but really feel like these guys deserve it. I would recommend this photo booth service without hesitation. Thanks so much!

Brad was AMAZING during my Dec. 22nd, 2017 Wedding. I couldn’t be happier with our choice to go with him as our wedding photographer. I had multiple people graciously comment on how professional, punctual, and talented he is. Brad is a very talented photographer, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for other events or family photos in the future. I will post some photos to show his incredible artistry when I get my pictures back. Don’t think twice about it, HIRE BRAD!!!!! You’ll get a great value, quality, professional, and caring photographer! Thanks Brad for everything! You took so much pressure and stress off of us during our wedding!

Joel was incredible. I gave him a small amount of direction for our 40th birthday (theme was THE PROM) and just ran with it !! He even brought an assistant ! His lights were wonderful and I was pleasantly surprised he brought up-lights for no additional fee — they looked wonderful ! He was on time, played every song request, played other stuff that definitely fit in the theme of the evening and even ran a dance contest for us. I highly recommend him !!!

I loved Susan's work. She did both our engagement and wedding. She has such a great eye and caught alot of special moments. Prior to each session she set with my husband and I to discuss our vision and what types of shots we wanted to have. During the shoot she patientlysnapped both candid and planned photographs for hours to ensure she provided us with the most beautiful memories. I also really love the edited work she provided us. My wedding was Susans first wedding, she was very professional and did an amazing job! I am so grateful we choose her.

Edgar and his team are awesome! I had lots of questions prior to booking and Edgar was always very pleasant and professional. We hired Tag Me for our May 2018 wedding and are so glad we did! They were punctual and set up exactly as planned. The guests loved that they could email or text GIFs and photos to themselves instantly! For our non tech savvy guests, we upgraded to unlimited prints, which were good quality and printed in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend them!

My wife and I had a Cambodian wedding about a year ago and our DJ/MC was Sean. My wife is not Cambodian, so we couldn't hire a traditional Cambodian band that would only cater to my guests. Luckily, we found a DJ that can deliver both Cambodian and American music: 1) Professionalism: Sean showed up on time, gave us free consultations and shared with us ideas and experiences to make our special day wonderful. 2) Technology: Amazing sound system and lighting; everything that they used was up to date and the best in the business. 3) Delivery: On the day of our wedding, my family was running behind to get to the reception due to traffic. When we arrived, Sean and his team had the whole place set up and was ready to go. Through out the whole night, they delivered the best music. Sean was an amazing MC, he helped facilitate Bride/Groom entrance, traditional wedding games and kept the guest entertained !! When we see our guest enjoying themselves on the dance floor, you know that the DJ/MC DELIVERED. I would highly recommend Sean and his team to my family and friends and to everyone else looking for a DJ that would go above and beyond his terms. Thank you again Sean, for making our wedding night memorable!!

My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with James for our wedding. We reached out to at least 7 DJs while planning our wedding, and all were either extremely unresponsive, or the quality of their work wasn't what we wanted for our wedding. ITM Entertainment was a perfect marriage of the 2. James is incredibly responsive to you, which always sets your mind at ease. I'll be the first to say that I was not the easiest bride to work with! We left our song requests off to the very last minute, but James was incredibly professional & executed everything flawlessly. James also has a super cool system where you can fill in what songs you want & don't want at your wedding. It was a super organized system, and perfect for a control freak like me. :) Now comes the best part. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the music, not only during the dance portion, but during cocktail hour & dinner time. This really showed that James *got* the vibe that we wanted for our wedding. The dance floor was absolutely packed all night, thanks to James (one friend actually got an injury from dancing too hard, and MANY mentioned how sore they were from dancing non-stop). We had an absolute blast, and I couldn't recommend ITM Entertainment more.

I lucked out completely to have found Ed on thumb tack. We hired him almost a year before our wedding and his responsiveness, check-ins and communication style were all super genuin. Ed, you truly made an inpact on us and our entire wedding party had a blast! I saw people dancing at my wedding that are typically quiet and choose to sit all night! Ed is bi-lingual (spanish) which was HUGE for us and really made everyone feel included. On top of that, the blow up photo booth was a really cool experience for our guests. And the glow sticks that were tossed out during the hype brought the party to a whole other level. I 110% recommend Ed to everyone. From day 1, I can confidently say that you will not regret it!

Larry did an amazing job at our wedding! People are still talking about how great the music was...we gave him a list of music and he went right along with that and filled in the rest. The setup was great! Think you don't need TVs for your event? Trust me, you do!!! They make the setup look even better!!! We ended up having rain on our wedding day and Larry made the best of the space... we are so happy with everything he did and will definitely be using him in the future!! The newlywed game that he does is great too!!! Lots of laughs!! Thanks Larry!!!!!

I came across LilyLove 5 years ago when I was on the market for a wedding photographer. She was a new, emerging artist however her work has never faltered. Although she didn't shoot my wedding ( emergency cancellation on my part) she did deliver on the first of many family and lifestyle sessions. She has helped us document the growth and expansion of my family. Each time tastefully, perfectly edited and executed. She's not just a point and shoot type person. She objective, will stop to fix your hair or get tasteful in the moment shots. Each second she captures is one you can definitely relive and get lost in. Each handmade set up and holiday session is definitely one of a kind and adds the element of living a fairy tale. Her talent is an art and so much larger than just wedding coverage, it's life as you would love to remember it through loving and fun eyes. It's an honor and privilege to be her client.

I must say I could not be any happier and impressed by the service and attention I received from Manny. When I first started looking for a DJ it was hard to find someone that clicked with me and my personality. I wanted a really non-traditional wedding and I was looking for someone who was going to understand what it was that I was looking for. I mean my fiance and I were getting married at a baseball stadium in Lake Elsinore for crying out loud! When I first contacted Manny he seemed to immediately get what I was trying to do for our wedding. I loved how he was just as hyped up and excited as I was for the event. He never once said "no that's not a good idea", or "that is not something that I do" Manny was super accommodating to the situations that came up through the process. He sent over the worksheet for the wedding day and I must say that it helped me get organized for the big day. I was able to really customize and break down what we wanted to do from ceremony to reception. Manny was so generous to agree to do both the ceremony and the reception since he has more than one system available to use. This really relieved some stress from me because I was freaking out about moving seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Right up until the night before the wedding he let me make changes and add last minute songs to the must play list. The day of the wedding was a breeze! We came, we got married, and we partied! I can say that we were totally ahead of schedule because Manny was fantastic at getting things going and making sure that we were all lined up and ready to go! We had a great night dancing the night away to the point where me and my husband didn't even leave when we were supposed to! I HIGHLY recommend Manny for your event! He gave me more than I could imagine for the pricing that he charged me. His wife is also super awesome and fun to talk to in between songs. If you are looking for a DJ that wants to make sure that you have a banging party this is your DJ.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What is a photo booth rental?

A party photo booth is a fun, interactive experience where guests can take a series of photos (usually three or four) that are immediately printed out on a strip as a keepsake. When you rent a party photo booth, the company sets up the booth or photo station at your event; a photographer staffs the booth and coaches guests on how to use it throughout the event. Often the photo booth rental company provides props like silly hats, wigs and glasses. There are different types of party photo booth rentals. An open-air booth has a curtain or backdrop that allows more freedom of movement and enables more people to use it at one time. The traditional enclosed photo booths that you may have seen at the mall or the fair tend to cost more to rent, as they are harder to transport and also cost more for the pros to purchase. The national average cost for party photo booth rentals is $400-$500.

What does a wedding event coordinator do?

Pulling off a large, complex wedding or an elegant, small affair requires juggling myriad details, including the officiant, food, drink, wedding cake, entertainment, transportation, rehearsal dinner, photography, equipment rentals, venue reservations and more. A wedding event coordinator can help you keep track of these details, overseeing the planning process and managing everything on the day of your wedding. Each wedding coordinator (and wedding) is different, but in general you can expect an event coordinator to:

  • Help you devise a realistic wedding budget and hold your vendors to it.
  • Map out a master plan that includes all of the details including ceremony music, favors, the guest book and more.
  • Suggest ceremony and reception locations that fit your wedding size, budget and vision.
  • Suggest florists, photographers, bands, caterers and other vendors that fit your budget.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts for the best deals.
  • Create a timeline for the day of the wedding that includes each vendor and member of your wedding party.
  • Mail invitations and track RSVPs.
  • Answer questions about wedding etiquette and current wedding trends.
  • Manage the wedding day from supervising vendors and setup to handling last-minute emergencies.

How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place. Also, extra details, such as managing food trucks or setting up snacks in addition to the meal, will increase the cost.

What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

  • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
  • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
  • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
  • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

Do you have a portfolio? Ask to see photos of their favorite weddings, especially if they’ve managed any that are similar to what you have in mind. This will help you see if you like their style and if their ideas seem fresh and creative.

How much does it cost for a photographer for a wedding?

Finding the right wedding photographer can make a big difference for your ceremony. Nationally, the average wedding photographer’s price ranges from $800 to $1,000, but costs can be much higher in areas like Chicago, New York or Los Angeles where some couples spend $2,000 to $5,000 or more for the photographer they want. Factors that can affect your wedding photographer prices include the photographer’s reputation and experience. Heavy hitters can command top rates, especially during wedding-season weekends. Day of the week also affects your cost. You may get a $200 discount on wedding photographer prices if you get married on a Friday in November rather than a Saturday in June. Time onsite is also an important cost factor. Hiring a photographer to snap photos from the moment you wake up until after last call at the reception is going to cost more than five hours of pictures during the day. Multiple photographers, special lighting, and videography will also increase your costs. Ultimately you want to find someone who has a style you love and can provide the number of edited shots you want for a price you can handle. Learn more about hiring a wedding photographer.
