Rebecca is very nice, detail-oriented and patient. She keeps frequent communication with me throughout the editing procedure (there is no solid deadline for my work. Nice to be notified of the progress). She is very responsive. Her editing style is more than grammar check and proofreading , it's reorganizing and rewriting (at least to my essays). She did an excellent work editing my three JD application essays. She would also ask you for feedback for her work so that she can absorb your ideas before the final proofread. Very satisfied!! Strongly recommend her!

I met Pavita at a summer internship, and I could not be more grateful to have met such an amazing friend, mentor, and person. She met with me every Sunday for the first semester of my senior year revising my college application essays- and these weren't one-hour sessions. Each session would start with me frantically figuring out what essay to show her, and once I got myself together, she would patiently and methodically make suggestions and edit grammar mistakes for me. Her super power? Cutting down essays. One time, she took a 1,000 word essay and compacted it to 250 words. The meaning and message of the essay didn't change one bit. My voice stayed my own, my writing style was clearly the same, but the essay was concise and to-the-point rather than rambling and unclear. Pavita was also extremely supportive throughout the entire process. If I had any suspicions about an essay, she would sit down with me and go through the pros and cons of answering a certain college's questions the way I did. If we decided to scrap an essay, we would brainstorm ideas, together, of what would make my next essay be the one I would eventually submit. Furthermore, her outgoing and loving personality made the process so much easier for me. While my friends struggled with trying to eloquently place their thoughts on paper, Pavita helped me transform my social justice rants or darker moments into thoughtful and complete answers to a large variety of questions posed by the numerous colleges I applied to. Her work with me helped me get into one of my top schools, which I am extremely proud of and happy to attend this fall. Although the ideas and essays were my own, I have no doubt that Pavita's editing and her constant support through this rough academic time helped me get into USC on a full scholarship. I also asked for help with school essays for my AP Language class. Once again, Pavita made excellent suggestions that made my ideas become clearer and my essays become more streamlined. Her editing made me more aware of my grammar errors and my own nuances when writing. Overall, I couldn't have asked for better service and I highly recommend Pavita's editing skills to anyone.

My company hired Koppelman & Associates for a corporate event video. We were looking for professionalism and reliability, and Koppelman & Associates did not dissapoint. Our event took more time than anticipated, and the final video required detailed editing. Koppelman & Associates’s service throughout the process was thorough, and resulted in a great video at a very reasonable price. We will definitely use his service again.

Michael is an outstanding book editor. I've been working with him on my manuscript for the past two years. He excels in the intangibles, with terrific suggestions about improving a story's pace, character development and plot. So often when Michael suggests something, a lightbulb goes off in my head and I think: Of course! Why didn't I think of that? Beyond his uncanny ability to see where my story should be going, he also detects what's missing. This is a trait any writer wants to have in an editor--an ability to identify what needs to be added or expanded upon. Beyond his professional editing skills, Michael is consistently prompt and turns drafts around well within his promised timeframe. Michael is not only a great editor but he can, if needed, be a coach as well. He knows what his writers are going through, because he's a writer himself. He has been important to me in his coaching role, because he's helped me plow through the rough spots that are inevitable in completing something as complicated as a novel. He becomes a partner in getting the job done, and his words of encouragement and hope make all the difference.

I have been working on my book for almost five years. Finally I have it at a place ready for editing. Samantha is currently working on my drafts. She is nice person who actually wants to help. She is not in the project just because its a job. I feel like she actually is interested in my work. I did not just want to hire a mechanical editor who plops out my work without caring. Samantha is someone that I feel cares and wants to actually help. She is a good pick.

Wyn was extremely conscientious in editing my 2000 word memoir piece. He was happy to explain the reason behind any edit, as well as be candid about the fact that some rewrite suggestions were just a matter of personal opinion (and okay for me to reject). I will incorporate many of his suggestions. He was also obliging in offering his overall opinion (which I asked for), and is very easy to communicate with.

Hello! I've known Rafael for 6 years as a friend first, & later as my assistant with my home-based businesses, which are: dishesdelmar.com and eNotecards.com. I also know Rafael as a diligent coach with regard to my hobby, writing. He edited my manuscript, my personal 33 year San Francisco story. I'll work on it this fall & then send it his way for further clean-up, if he has the time. If not, I'll be patient. Rafael has a brilliant mind coupled with a kind heart & a sea of sincerity. He's a mensch, a class act, & much more. I'm Burt Tessler burtsf@gmail.com

Mary Rakow is my cup of tea. Her editing of my manuscript was encouraging and practical. Working with her has helped my ideas flow, and I'm excited and engaged after a long period of being stuck. Mary 'sees' where a work needs to go and is supportive of both me and my writing.

Ruth was an invaluable resource proofreading and editing my latest writing project. She is smart, listens well, and patient. The quality of her work is excellent, she is professional, responsive, and turned things around for me when promised (ahead of schedule, actually). She was a calming influence and an excellent sounding board as I discussed ideas with her. I would, without reservation, recommend her to others.

Julian is a thorough editor with a keen eye for detail. He has edited everything from essays to manuscripts for me and has taken my work from good to great. He is proficient at syntactical and grammatical feedback, but he has offered developmental and global insights on my work that ultimately made it publishable. I am always recommending Julian and his writing services to my friends, and I will continue to use Julian for all my writing projects in the future.
