They arrived exactly on time which is 2:30. The were very puntual, had all their cleaning gear and started working the house immediately. We had a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home and what we asked them to do they delivered. one of the biggest jobs was to make sure our garage was clean because we just moved in and they did a fabulous job! Its spotless when they left. The worked efficiently and left everything squeaky clean and all for such a reasonable price!!

Gals arrived on time and with all their own equipment and started Right in on work. They did a great job getting rust stains out of oven front. Overall they did a great job. The negatives were that they left when I was actually starting to walk through and look over everything, and there was a few things missed. Also the oil that they clean the hardwood with should have been gone over with a dust mop or towel after as it left a very slippery oily surface on which homeowner almost fell.

Luis came to the house and fixed my mom’s oven. We’re talking about what is at least a twenty-year old Whirlpool Electric Oven which was flashing a F5 error message. This was a potential disaster with the oven going down, because how would my mom cook the turkey later this month for this year's thanksgiving??? Fortunately, Luis was able to diagnose what was going on with the oven and he was able to get the oven working again by resetting and fiddling around with the oven's electronic control board. Wow! You want this guy’s expertise. He is very proud of his work and he obviously very much enjoys helping people with their appliances. From my talking to Luis, found out that he has been in the appliance repair business for 27 years. Luis does a lot of warranty repair work for Lowes and Home Depot. Luis also actually has his main established family business, which is now run by his sons, up in the Valencia and San Fernando area up in Los Angeles, but Luis is now down here in San Diego County to expand his family business further south in the San Diego County area and also to personally get away from the awful Los Angeles traffic. Luis is a good guy. He is a very straight-forward guy who will tell you what he is doing. And he will tell you what to watch out for as to possible future problems for the appliance that he is working on. As already mentioned, Luis was able to get my mom’s oven working again by resetting and fiddling around with the electronic control board, but he also told us to watch out for those electronics going bad again because it is old and therefore those electronics may eventually have to be replaced and he quoted how much that would cost. Fortunately now, my mom has her oven working again and she will be able to cook the thanksgiving turkey this year. Yea! Thank you, Luis! Luis also took a look at the stovetop and diagnosed why one burner was not lighting and quoted a price for replacing the burners and the controls — essentially refurbishing the old stovetop rather than buying a new stovetop. For now, we can live with the old stovetop as it is, but we now have an option via Luis for getting the stovetop into better shape. Anyways, for the primary oven problem, we paid a good affordable price to Luis for fixing the oven and getting his advice. The oven is still good, and it is now fixed thanks to Luis, and we now do NOT have to think about replacing the oven. Luis confirmed my thinking that putting in a new oven and a new stovetop would require cutting up the cabinet and countertop to fit and to put in a new oven and a new stovetop. Better to just repair what we have now. And we’re thankful that Luis can do the work. Never met Luis before and was taking a shot in the dark by connecting with him via the Thumbtack app here. But can tell you that we are very impressed with Luis for his professionalism and expertise.

The task was to remove an old wall oven and replace with a new one. Steve came the day prior to help me get the new oven from my shed into the house and also to measure and be more prepared for the actual installation (scheduled for the next day). He arrived on time and we got the new oven inside the house with his dolly. He measures and the next thing we know he is removing the old oven and installing the new one. Done! He also took with him in his truck the nasty 40 year old wall oven that I really wanted to get out of my sight. I was a thankful and happy customer. Cost? He was very reasonable and fair on his pricing. No complaints.

Star and her crew (Buster, Brad & Garret) were hired to do a deep cleaning of my rental home. This included cleaning windows inside/out, deep cleaning of the kitchen appliances, wash and dry all house blinds (25+), pressure wash exterior home and carpet cleaning for a 2500 sq ft home. I was extremely happy with the overall results. The guys did an amazing job with cleaning the kitchen cabinets inside and out, i couldn't believe how clean the stove looked after its deep cleaning. After the house was pressure washed and the window and blinds were cleaned it totally made house look so much cleaner and new. The carpet was a complete mess and thought i was going to have to replace it but after the guys finished cleaning it, im sure it will last another year or so. Saved myself $4k on a carpet estimate from empire today. The team arrived on time and went right to work, going above and beyond what I had expected. ****They were not the cheapest quote I got but you get what you pay for. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! I would recommend Star to anyone who needs a real good cleaning. Thank you Star Cleaning Service!!

I hired Art of Clean to help me with some spring cleaning. I asked Katrina to focus on cabinets, especially in the kitchen, and the floors, in the kitchen and bathrooms. She also did general cleaning in the kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Katrina went right to work and spent the next four hours making my it all shine. Katrina did an excellent job, I couldn't be happier. Andrea, at the agency office did an excellent job too of setting up the appointment and understanding what I needed. Well done ladies!

The service felt a little rushed and some things were handled a little carelessly, so I found scratches on my wood floor from objects they had moved to clean the surfaces. My home is a new construction, everything is new, so it is a little disappointing that the first scratches are not from ware and tear but from a house cleaning. My stove back and base have scratches from when they removed and placed back the griddle, which was put back backwards. These scratches cannot be fixed, just in the case of the wood they can be covered up with a wood marker. What I did apreciate is that when I addressed these issues to Maria, she was quick to discount my service, no questions asked. Otherwise the service was quick to book. And my house is decently cleaned from where it was before.

I hired Peggy to clean my condo prior to staging for sale, and her and her assistant appear to have done a fantastic job. They brought out the shine from the wooden floors, appliances, and they even cleaned the external side of the doors and the outside of the garage door. I would highly recommend Pride Cleaning for any of your cleaning needs.

Sonja's team did an excellent job for my move in/move out cleaning in preparation for the new tenants. The place was immaculate. From the window sills, blinds, to the toilets and the fridge and oven. They shined. I would hire Sonja again and recommend her to my friends and family.

Absolutely perfect!! We got so behind on our cleaning due to our work schedules. Plus we have a huge dog. So our condo needed help in a big way! Not only does every nook and cranny look and feel clean, but the marks Boone could get out of our gas oven range are gone!!! Beyond expectations!! Such a wonderful team at such a value!!! I will be becoming a regular!

Excellent communication, even when my schedule got in the way. I arrived and the cleaning was already complete. EXCELLENT! The team was VERY thorough with the move out cleaning: oven vent, inside over, cleaned shelves, window sills, closets, baseboards, etc. Excellent value for the price, and I will definitely use them again.

Crystal has been servicing us for the past two years. We have a bi-weekly arrangement with her which is perfect for our needs (young couple, 1-bedroom 1-bathroom condo). Crystal gets the job done thoroughly and efficiently. She brings her own cleaning supplies which is convenient for those who may forget to re-stock their own. She is very easygoing as far as following special requests (inside oven cleaning, vacuuming couch cushions, etc) We highly recommend that you give Crystal a try, you won't be disappointed!

The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because one of the team members was in training and he didn't do a very great job in the kitchen. He didn't bother to clean inside or under my microwave or the glass inside my oven. But as long as you specifically point out what needs to be done, Valencia will follow through and do a wonderful job. She even went back and finished cleaning the parts of the kitchen that the man had missed. Will definitely be using their service again.

Power surges suck! Just the other day a car crashes into a power pole around the corner from where I live and the resulting surge from the exploding transformer burned through every charger and clock I had plugged directly into the wall as well as my fridge, oven and washer. I decided to give OC Appliance Masters a call and make an appointment for him to check things out the next day. I get a nice two hour window vs the 4 hour window that I've been accustomed to from previous experiences with professional service guys for fixing HVAC, electric, plumbing, cable etc. I spoke to Nick and he says he can call an hour or half an hour before the arrival time. Another plus. I was going to be home all day so I was okay with the half hour heads up call. On the day of the service Nick calls me earlier than expected and says he was able to finish his earlier appointment and if I'm available he can come earlier. I'm all for that! Who enjoys biding their time waiting for a service person? Not me. The sooner the better plus my fridge wasn't getting any cooler. When he arrives, he was a whirling dervish of information regarding possible culprits for what could be ailing my appliances and is listing them out as he's working on my fridge. He tells me he was a electrical engineer and will find out what the problem is. It turned out it was the controller board and he was able to give me an estimate immediately without saying he'd have to check the price for the part etc. This was a nice change from the other guys I've dealt with that don't say a word and have to crunch the numbers. What it told me was that he had experience with this issue before. He also had the part on hand and could get the unit back and running in no time. I was sold. After that, he also serviced the fridge's coils, at no extra charge, which were cluttered up with years of cat fur which he was shocked at seeing as he opened up my fridge's service panel. The next item he looked at was my stove/oven. Given what he saw with my fridge, his prognosis even before opening the stove/oven was that it would be expensive and I could be better off looking for a new oven but we'll look anyway. Turns out he was right. The digital display panel and control board were shot and would cost $700 if I wanted to have it fixed. Thank you for your honesty. Finally the dishwasher. Lo and behold, same problem as the others, burned out control board. Good news was that it was more reasonable to fix and wasn't going to cost as much as a new unit. Bad news was he didn't have the part on hand but we arranged for him to get the part and return to fix it later next week. The biggest take away from him during the service call was the preventative advice from Nick. Place ALL your expensive appliances on a SURGE PROTECTOR from now on. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me and this includes even when I was living in Denver and we would have some nasty thunderstorms that would cause power fluctuations like nobody's business so it never occurred to me to put anything except my computer and entertainment system on a nice surge protector. That's all changed now. All in all, it's hard finding a trustworthy appliance repair person. I read some of the positive reviews as well as the negative reviews of the well reviewed appliance service techs for the area and decided to take a chance with OC Masters and I'm very pleased with the results. I'm also glad that I'm dealing with a family owned and operated business since Nick and his brother are the guys who are doing all the work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Katherine has been my go-to house cleaner all year. I had hurt my elbow and wrist and called upon her to thoroughly clean my house including the oven and fridge. She was amazing. Sheets weee changed, beds were perfectly made, the bathroom sparkled and the floors and furniture gleamed. Her price is completely fair and she seems to impart her positive energy to the house. Even if surgery repairs my injured arm, I have made Katherine a regular at home. She's a try pro!

As a Property Manager, I have worked with a variety of different cleaning companies. It’s difficult to find a company who has competitive pricing and who is consistent with quality work. I was introduced to Martha by a friend who uses her to clean her home and has had nothing but praises to say about her. I figured I’d give her a shot to see if she really was as good as my friend claimed and have her do a vacancy cleaning for me (this place was destroyed by the tenant!!). HOLY MOLY!!! She was every bit as good as my friend stated…if not better!! She made the bathtub look like a new tub, which I thought the tub might have to be resurfaced. NOPE!! Martha made quick work of the tube and the rest of the condo. Since that first experience with her, she is now the ONLY person I use. If you are tired us messing around with the average (or below average) cleaning companies out there, you NEED to call Martha!! She is without a doubt the best cleaning lady in San Diego County…Guaranteed!!!! Oh….and did I mention….she’s not just your average cleaning lady. She paints, patches, drywalls and much more… Thank you Martha for all of your hard work and help!! You have made my job 10 times easier.

I do house cleaning regular and deep clean. i amavailable on Monday thru Saturday. Regular clean is $ 45.00 an hour and deep clean is $75.00 an hour.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much do you pay for house cleaning?

Hiring a professional house cleaning service is a helpful way to have a healthy home even when your work and personal schedule is packed. House cleaning prices vary based on how many square feet your home is, how dirty your house gets, and how often the cleaning service comes. Some companies charge a set amount — such as 5 cents — per square foot, with a minimum amount, such as $100. The national average cost for house cleaning ranges between $110 and $150. Prices can be lower in areas with a lower cost of living, higher in big cities or affluent regions. You may save money by increasing the frequency of your house cleaning visits. Often a company will charge you less per cleaning when you schedule more cleanings per month. The cost advantage rewards your loyalty, and also reflects the fact that more frequent cleanings make it easier to maintain a high level of cleanliness in your home. A housecleaning service may charge more for the first visit or for one-time services than for recurring cleanings.

How much does it cost to deep clean a house?

Deep cleaning a house goes beyond the surface level to clear out the dust, grime and gunk that’s collecting on the fan blades, hiding in the blinds, and built up inside the refrigerator drawers. Deep cleaning of a home or apartment costs more than regular house cleaning because it takes more time, effort, and cleaning products. You may choose to have a deep cleaning once or several times a year in addition to your standard cleaning services. You may have a one-time deep cleaning to prepare for company or to clean after a house party. Companies may charge an hourly rate or a price per square foot, or may offer you a flat rate after they have visited your home and estimated work time. The national average house cleaning price is $110-$150, with rates ranging higher for deep-cleaning services. Here are some examples of how a company may calculate their deep-cleaning prices:

  • 10 cents per square foot (compared with 5 cents per square foot for standard house cleaning).
  • $300 for a 3,000-square-foot home.
  • $25 per hour per worker for deep-cleaning services.

How much does refrigerator repair cost?

Refrigerator repair generally costs a fraction of the price of a new fridge and shouldhave your appliance up and running again in no time. The problems your refrigerator is experiencing and the parts required to fix it will affect your repair costs. Where you live can affect labor rates, which will raise or lower your costs. Here are some examples of average costs:

  • Diagnostic fees: $50-$100. Repair pros often have a service call fee or diagnostic fee to account for their time traveling to your location with all their tools to assess the problem. If you choose to have them repair the fridge, most pros then credit this fee toward your repair cost.
  • Parts: $20-$500. A new compressor averages $200, an icemaker $300, and computerized components such as touch screens and control boards average $300 or more.
  • Basic repairs: $180-$400, including parts. This price range can include repairing the evaporator or fan motor.

How much does a move-out cleaning cost?

Moving is hard enough work even before you have to clean the empty home to perfection. Instead of scrubbing your tile grout with a toothbrush, hire a professional cleaning company to provide move-out cleaning services for you. For moving out of an apartment, cleaning prices can range from $110 to $150. When scheduling a move-out cleaning, talk with the pro and confirm all the key points they will clean to ensure you receive your deposit back.

Important areas to have cleaned include the fridge interior, the oven interior, bathroom tile, the shower and tub, all blinds, and sometimes the walls. Some cleaning companies do not quote a flat rate for a move-out cleaning, as the number of hours it may take to clean structurally identical apartments could vary greatly depending on how clean or dirty the inhabitants were. For example, move-out house cleaning prices may range from $150 to $180 for one- or two-bedroom apartments.

How long do fridges last?

Refrigerators can last 10 to 20 years, although the most common lifespan is about 13 years. If your fridge is acting up, consider its current age when deciding whether to invest in repairs or buy a new one. Common easy fixes include faulty thermostats, dirty coils and clogged drain lines. Thermostats and dirty coils can be generally be fixed for an average cost of $80-$100. Clogged drain lines, which usually cause leaks, can often be fixed for under $200.

More complex refrigeration repairs such as replacing a bad compressor or replenishing low refrigerant can cost more because of expensive parts and higher labor. A new compressor costs an average of $200, not including labor. If labor is an average of $75-$100 per hour, and the repair takes 3 hours, you’re looking at roughly $500. Consider the age and purchase cost of your fridge; investing $350 in a $600 fridge that is 8 years old may not be cost-effective.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
