Paul Grether is a very talented musician and teacher and a great person. He is wonderful with kids. He is sweet, smart, motivational, caring and funny. My 9 year old son loves him and loves his guitar lessons. He gave up tennis to have two guitar lessons a week. Paul is so affordable to top it off that we are able to afford two one hour lessons a week. I am thrilled to pieces. Anyone would be lucky to have guitar lessons with Paul.
Sid gave guitar lessons to my daughter (14). He was recommended to us by a friend who has a 12 year old son that Sid taught. He is a great teacher and I can tell he is good at relating to kids of all ages. It is obvious, Sid has an appreciation and a passion for music and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Physics lessons with Tran was very well done. I'm doing much better in my college class now, I'm going to call elite if I need more help. Thanks Tran
Beginner electric bass guitar lessons, 1 hour per week, at Rancho Canyon Music. I have been taking lessons with Lou for two months. Lou is an experienced, knowledgeable, and patient instructor. Additionally, he is personable and has a good sense of humor which makes the lessons fun. Lou finds ways to easily relate a theory or technique to you in everyday terms. He is a formally trained musician who performs regularly for audiences. His training and regular performing, coupled with his teaching techniques makes him my first choice for music instruction. Lou arrives on time and is ready begin working with you, evidence he values your time as well. Lou goes above and beyond for his students by providing in class resources, useful online content, and instructional online videos. All of which I have found helpful and not readily found in other music instructors. Lou can quickly analyze what is happening and provide you with helpful input to help you understand and improve. It is clear to me Lou understands the teaching process. He explains things in a logical order, using building blocks of learning. I would highly recommend Lou to all of my family and friends. An hour lesson is filled with easily digestible information and practical application. My understanding and enjoyment of playing my bass guitar has been energized working with Lou.
We have a child diagnosed with slight autism. We decided to get a private teacher at home due to the experience of a teacher bullying him in a music school located in Chino. Mr. Garcia has all the patience in teaching our son and he knows how to adjust his teaching lessons with him. Our son is always excited to get music lessons with him. Mr. Garcia is also teaching our 18 y/o daughter guitar. And she is always happy and contented with his teaching techniques. Thank you for doing a great job with my children.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Kimberly via Skype for about six years. I really like her teaching style which is systematic and focused. She tailors her lessons to my goals and time. Her teaching method is to help you gain insight and skill through patient practice of gradually changing exercises. She doesn't snow you with theory, but presents it to you in digestible amounts just when it will make sense. She welcomes questions and I always learn from our discussions. She has led me to learn techniques on the guitar that I was absolutely sure I could never learn. For something to seem impossible at the start, to seem possible a week later and to be routine a month later is amazingly uplifting. Kimberly's background was first a life of teaching herself and playing gigs with all kinds of bands in all kinds of places. She has also deepened and strengthened her knowledge by gaining academic degrees in guitar and jazz and also by studying under masters. This gives her an incredibly deep understanding of learning and teaching music, an immense skill in playing guitar, and an appreciation for the challenges of playing with other people. I especially love her continued enthusiasm for guitar and that she really enjoys teaching. I have found in Kimberly the best of teachers and highly recommend her without reservation.
Glen comes to our home to teach our ten year old once per week. He is great with our son and has sparked an enthusiasm in our son that has him so excited about playing the guitar and learning about music! Glen is also a very talented musician - but I'm mostly impressed with his ability to connect with our son. I would HIGHLY reccomend Glen as a music teacher.
My nephew and I are both taking lessons. Mrs.B is very professional and polite and works well with both children and adults!
At the age of 9 my son Julian started to take group guitar lessons from Pat. After that session I ask Pat if he does private lessons, he said yes but its at La Puente. So from Chino Hills I took my son to La Puente every Saturday for the next 5 years. He is very good with kids and I highly recommend him. My son now 18 enjoys writing songs & performing.
Mr Anthony does a wonderful job giving my 9 year old lessons. He is always on time and very respectful. After just two lessons I am already impressed with what my son has learned. I'm excited to see what Mr Anthony teaches my son in the coming months.
It's only been a few weeks since I began experiencing Dan's teaching, but, right away, I knew he'd be the perfect fit. He is not only clearly knowledgeable and experienced but exudes passion and really loves what he's doing, which makes me love learning to play guitar even more. With his help, I'm confident that my skills will continue to increase and I encourage anyone to let Dan prove this to you in person.
Kevin is the best guitar teacher out there who gave me the tools I needed to go on to be a Music Major. He works with your goals as a starting or experienced musician and explains and helps with everything so well. He goes out of his way and really made guitar lessons a highlight of my day. HIGHLY recommended!
Juan is awesome and really seems to love the art of teaching. He can explain a technique and then play examples on his guitar. Just my first lesson but I really am looking forward to the next one !!!
I exchanged a few messages with Laura about the possibility of taking guitar lessons. She responded quickly and answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, I am only in town for a short amount of time, and things did not work out. I definitely recommend Laura if you're looking for someone who is kind, professional, and easy-going!
Jason is awesome. It started out with my daughter taking lessons from him, now it's both of us. First of all, my daughter Lauren is 5 years old. 5. Literally just started Kindergarten. She can't read - but she can do a power chord. That's all due to Jason's help. It takes serious patience to teach a five year old how to play guitar. Not just patience... but Jason is a pleasure to have in our home. He's great with my daughter. And... great at teaching an adult too. I've only been playing guitar for a few months, but people think I've been at it a while.
Keith teaches my son beginning guitar lessons and has been great. He is patient and really individualizes our lessons for my sons specific needs. He brings hand outs which is great-my son can practice on his own, and if we ever forget something or can't figure out how to play something he is very open to questions anytime.
My daughter has been learning guitar with Ken for two years. She learns a lot from him. He is an amazing teacher with so much patience and really knowledgeable about music. He always provides positive encouragement to the kids. We would highly recommend him.
Serge has been an outstanding guitar teacher for my 11 year old son. I am recommending him to any parent who wants quality and fun guitar lessons for their children. Thanks. Arnel
I have teaching experience. I offer simple ways of teaching to avoid complications. Guitar lessons are boring. It is my experience that 2 out of 10 students learn it till they become performable because it requires very hard work. A teacher should have the ability to understand when his student is taking stress during lessons or practice.
I have been teaching drum and guitar lessons for the last five years. I studied music and voice at Cal State Fullerton. I get my students ready to play at gigs quickly, because I sing and play guitar at lessons so that we can cover songs during the sessions.
I specialize on guitar although not limited to it. I also have basic knowledge on piano, vocals, ukulele, and mandolin. Although I consider myself advance on guitar, I prefer to work with beginners. It makes it easier to see where to start from.
