Clear communication from Joyee and his math tutor. They made the process easy and were helpful about scheduling tutoring times and dates. I'd also recommend them for college and scholarship planning.

It was a simple job. Six grade math. Most tutors either gave us the runaround or just didn't call us back. Eric at elite made sure we were satisfied from the first free trial to the session before my daughters test. Very well done

Mauri is a very good tutor for my two kids. She is currently tutoring my son (5th grader) and my daughter (3rd grader) with writing. They both learn a lot from her and she is very encouraging and helping them to write more effectively.

Nancy's is the best tutor I've ever had I have 3 boys and 1 girls and I have had over 15 different tutors over the years and by far she is the best I have had she is everything I am as far being stern but she brings the softness that the student needs to get the best out of them my daughter did not bond with the three tutors before Nancy but she really loves Mrs Nancy as she calls her and she look forward to her session every week. I hired her to teach my daughter Spanish who has never taken before and she already can write and speak Spanish in less than two months she was so good I ask if she does any other subjects and of course she does it all so now she tutors my daughter in math and her grade went from a C to an A she makes sure the student understands the topic before she moves on and she won't budge or go any further unless the student totally understands it. If your looking for top shelf tutor look no futher and for the price it's a win win for me and my daughter thanks for making my daughter experience a total success.

We have used Skills for Success with our son for quite some time now. Working with teenage boys can be difficult, but Carleen goes out of her way to find out what our son is interested in and then implements those areas into her work with him! We have seen huge improvement in his reading & comprehension, writing and spelling!!

I used to be intermediate level of English but after tutoring, I feel that my English improved to an advanced level. I can more properly use grammar in speech and in sentences. I am happy to say that I am now going to college and I really recommend tutoring. My experience was really good.

My son was struggling with reading and reading comprehension and his grade had fallen to a low D. After just a few months working with Patt, and his grade was up to a high B. She didn't just help him improve his grade, but gave him the tools to be able to succeed on his own. Since then (now several years later) and he is still doing well in both areas as well as other subjects that are reading heavy.

Have your child read! Agape Learning is offering the Jolly Phonics Program. What is Jolly Phonics? Jolly Phonics is a fun and child-centered approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children and teachers who can see their students achieve. Letter Sound Order The sounds are taught in a specific order (not alphabetically). This enables children to begin building words as early as possible. How does Jolly Phonics work? Using a synthetic phonics approach, Jolly Phonics teaches children the five key skills for reading and writing. Complemented by Jolly Readers and Jolly Grammar, it provides a thorough foundation for teaching literacy over three years in school. The five skills taught in Jolly Phonics: 1. Learning the letter sounds Children are taught the 42 main letter sounds. This includes alphabet sounds, as well as digraphs, such as sh, th, ai, and ue. 2. Learning letter formation Using different multi-sensory methods, children learn how to form and write the letters. 3. Blending Children are taught how to blend the sounds together to read and write new words. 4. Identifying the sounds in words (segmenting) Listening for the sounds in words gives children the best start for improving spelling. 5. Tricky words (sight words) Tricky words have irregular spellings and children learn these separately. With the Jolly Learning Program, your child will receive the following: 1. Materials and worksheets 2. Participation and improvement incentives 3. Read-along booklets 4. Personalized Jolly Phonics Certificate (upon completion) Program details include the following: - One hour sessions with 1:1 reading - Four sessions per week (Monday to Thursday) - Hourly session times are: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. - Class size of only 10 to 12 students per session - Classes will start soon (a total of 36 sessions) (call for schedule) - Classes are conveniently located in Arcadia, CA - No registration fee This whole package is only $250 per month or $450 for two months.
