In our initial consultation with 3 Little Birds Event Planning we described what we were thinking and our budget, and not to mention our compressed timeline. 3 Little Birds Event Planning was upfront about the challenges of the timeline, but expressed confidence that it could be done. Venue and vendor options were presented to meet our budget as well as options and ideas that were outside our budget should we want to incorporate additional things. Planning any project and event takes a very organized, detail oriented, experienced and well connected planner/company. But when it comes to a wedding, you only have one chance, there are no do overs, and you need someone who will make everything happen. Jessica Smith (3 Little Birds Event Planning) is all of the above and more. They can handle all of the business aspects (contracts, vendors, schedules, timelines, permits, etch, etc), but she also has an artistic eye and design style that provided such amazing ideas and direction to enhance and implement our theme. Trust me the small details that you may not think about make a HUGE difference. With my work schedule so hectic it was impossible for me get decorations or run around doing errands. Having a full service planner was not only helpful it was necessary. The money I would have lost from missed work, by far covered the difference between a day of event planner and full service planner. My recommendation is to go with the full service planner... it gives you the opportunity to have your event and vision grow organically as you meet and continually consult with your planner... not to mention the time and headaches your save yourself, trust me you will thank yourself for it. 3 Little Birds Event Planning is established and has many vendor connections (Florists, DJ, Photographers, Catering, Venues, Decorations, etc., etc.). What I really like is the fact that 3 Little Birds/Jessica Smith doesnât force or pressure you to use her vendors. We vetted her vendors and chose to go with some of them, and some we didn't. All the vendors she recommended are professional and established and we were very pleased with the vendors she recommended. The vendors we didnât use were not because of anything deficient, but rather because we had existing industry contacts and already knew great photographers and videographers. 3 Little Birds worked with the vendors they provided as well as the one we selected independently and brought everything together seamlessly. On the big day, things could not have gone any smoother. I was impressed, as were all of the guests. I was able to be present in the moment and truly enjoy our special day. All I can say is thank you, it was a true storybook/fairytale wedding.
I decided to look for a caterer for my Mom's celebration of life and my internet search lead me to Thumbtack. After inputting my needs I quickly received a response back from Tonya at Sierra Madre Catering with a detailed quote and attached menu. When I called to speak with Tonya I immediately got a good vibe from her voice. She seemed excited and eager to help plan our event and made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of. I am so thankful I decided to use Sierra Madre for my event. We ordered appetizers and desserts and they arrived and set everything up, brought their own trash cans and kept the tables clean as people were done eating. The staff was professional and nice and their food was DELICIOUS! Many of our guests gave feedback that the food was great and they even ran out of business cards because a lot of people were interested in having their info. At such a difficult time with the passing of a loved one, these details are important but not ones you want to worry about yourselves and Tonya and Sierra Madre staff took that burden off my shoulders and I am so thankful for that. I will recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer for any event and if I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would!! Thank you Tonya and Sierra Madre Catering!!

Let me start by saying, most men think that they have it all figured out when it comes to women and dating. I know! I am one of those men. As a hopeless romantic myself, I never thought that I would benefit from a marriage proposal, date, and event planning company. I mean, what can they possibly show me that I haven't already thought of myself; little did I know I was in for a surprise. The ladies at OLF took care of everything for me. I mean the dinner location they chose was fantastic, they even gave me pointers on what wine to order with our steak, which was a big plus for me because it impressed my girlfriend that I was knowledgeable about a variety of wines. Prior to dinner they suggested that I take her on a short stroll where we ended up by a wall with LOVE written all over it, she was taking back by that and thought the wall was adorable. More brownie points for me. Thanks OLF. Aaaaaaaand to top it off, they had disguised photographer follow us throughout our date that snapped so many random pictures of us while we were out. I can honestly say that I was impressed with their planning and so was my girlfriend. I would recommend this company to men and women with experience on all dating levels, if they can blow my mind with their planning, imagine what they can do for YOU!
E&M Designs run an event planning service and I hired them to provide the flowers and cake at my wedding. Working with them was very easy, they were available via text, phone and email and responses were prompt. I chose them because I was on a very tight budget and they gave me a significantly lower quote than any other vendors I contacted - for the level of service they provide I thought the price exceptionally reasonable! The flowers were delivered in great condition and looked exactly as discussed; however the highlight was the cake. Eimee made me a 3 tier lemon wedding cake that was both beautiful and delicious! All of my guests said it was the best cake they've ever had - moist, delicious, and with amazing frosting!
The Special Event Genie (Ricki) is truly passionate about giving her clients a great wedding. She is very thorough in her planning of events and she provides custom planning tools for her clients. She put together a very thorough and organized time line for our event which helped insure that everything ran smoothly and on time. She has a lot of experience in coordinating weddings so she was very helpful in identifying potential pitfalls that we had not thought of. She attended multiple planning meetings, facilitated our rehearsal at the venue, coordinated all vendors and led the set-up of our wedding with assistance from family and friends. Do you know how pricey mobile bartending and catering vendors can be in LA? This company is a steal considering the amount of collaboration and quality of service your receive. Punctuality - On time, super fast in setting up, even faster tearing down. I highly recommend this vendor. I planned an entire event from another state and Joanna made me feel like I had nothing to worry about on her end. Will work with her again for sure.

I was able to concentrate on other things while lexilou events took care of the decorations. They painted and assembled all my centerpieces for the baby shower and coordinated the event the day of.
Iris did so much for us to make this our best holiday event to date. It was a breeze on my part, she did all of the planning, finding the DJ and venue. We worked together on menu items, and were able to taste test in advance. The salmon was amazing, as was the tri-tip. Iris is also a truly sweet person, and I enjoyed planning this event with her very much. She was very accommodating, and delivered as promised. Thank you! Nancy is amazing! I hired Nancy to cook for my clients surprise birthday party and it was the best decision ever! The food was amazing and plentiful! Karen is amazing! Words can't adequately express my appreciation of this wonderful lady. She did so much to make our event a success and to relieve the stress related to hosting a wedding. We hired Karen to be our "coordinator for the day" for our daughter's wedding. Even though the wedding was small (about 60 guests) and in our home, we wanted someone to help so that WE could be guests ourselves and enjoy the wedding. I did quite a bit of research before choosing and I'm so glad that we chose Karen. She has an infectious smile that puts you at ease immediately. She is also extremely professional and knowledgeable. She asked a lot of questions so that she would have a better idea of what we were envisioning. She had great practical ideas that helped with the flow of the event. We felt like we were in really good hands. When Karen arrived on the day of the wedding, she absolutely blew me away! I gave her a quick tour of everything that was happening and she just took it from there. It was like she was family and had been there a million times. She stayed two steps ahead all night and really made the evening stress free. She has a very unique quality in that she can take charge and provide direction in the nicest most nonabrasive way. When she lets guests know that it's time to move out to the patio for cocktails, or that we're ready for a toast, grand entrance, cake cutting etc. everyone listens and no one feels like they are being "bossed around". When guests left, she did so much to help wrap things up that I actually had to tell her to stop. She's so thoughtful. She pays attention to the smallest details and she really listens. I know Karen has done hundreds of events from large and elaborate to small and intimate. No matter what kind of event your planning, Karen will make it better and she will make your life easier! Eventspell did awesome job coordinating my very very detailed wedding!! We had lots of surprises and set up for the event and EventSpell took care of the coordination. They spent extra time making sure all was well and the event was set up and all the way down to the clean up. The day would have been a lot more stressful, but Eventspell made sure all went well on our special day. My guest said it was the most beautiful, best wedding they have been to. Deuce was truly a lifesaver when it came to planning my husband’s 40th birthday party. I wanted something that would be unforgettable but still within my budget and Deuce was able to come through with everything I wanted and more. I consider myself a pretty creative planner but I definitely pale in comparison to Jackie’s creativity when it comes to decor, presentation, and making the whole event from start to finish very memorable for my husband. Jackie is one of the sweetest, most creative people I have met in this industry and I would recommend Deuce to ANYONE who is planning any event or party. It’s worth every penny spent. Where to begin! Ruby was a savior during my wedding events and was able to offload so much of my stress and attend to all last minute details I was unable to do myself due to time constraints. I was able to trust and rely on her 100% and she did not let me down she knew exactly what I wanted and needed. Ruby made detailed timelines and checklists for all my events. She helped me plan and execute my wedding ceremony and it was perfect. She was able to offer me affordable vendors for photography, wedding dessert table that had a beautiful fruit and fondu, icecream popsicles/kulfi with customized labels passed out during our wedding that my guest raved about how delicious they were till today, decor for my wedding ceremony, and she was able to offer me multiple options for makeup and hair vendors for my wedding party. Overall ruby was amazing her attention to detail and her genuine kindness and sincerity was what made her so great at what she does. She went above and beyond for me and my events. She was my go to person for all my questions and was able to keep me calm and organized winding down to the events. I definitely recommend to booking her asap for all of your upcoming events. Jessell and her assistant are the absolute DREAM TEAM! If you want a worry-free event, I would highly recommend their services without any hesitation. I recently had and an out-of-state wedding that Perfectly Event Planning coordinated for me. They took care of every detail beyond my expectations and thought of things to pre-plan or organize that I never ever would have thought of that made even the smallest detail of my big day come off without a hitch! Not only are they organized and extremely detailed oriented, they are very gracious in taking requests I hoped for and they made great suggestions based on their experiences. Nikki is not only an incredible chef, but really capable of creating once in a lifetime experiences! We've worked with Nikki on a number of occasions, but most notably for my wedding rehearsal dinner. With a limited budget Nikki was able to prepare a fantastic Coq Au Vin for THIRTY people, and dress the space like a stunning provençal dream. We would recommend her for any theme, idea or palate that you're trying to blow out.
It was my pleasure working with Katherine. This lady is extremely courteous, professional and caring. She and her team had created wonderful experience and beautiful party for my baby’s 1st birthday. We had a limited area for an event but Katherine came up with a solution to accommodate kids corner and adult mingling. Throughout the process we had an easy communication. Katherine listened and transformed our ideas into reality. She had coordinated everything from decor, food catering to kids entertainment. On the day of the event, her whole team worked very well together. They were all very CALM!!! I had a very stressful personal experience of organizing a party by myself before. Christine is one of the most kind, generous, caring people I have ever met. She constantly asked questions about things I never dreamed of, and kept us on schedule throughout the process. She still keeps in contact with me event though the event is over.
I’ve worked with Above and Beyond Events for several corporate and social events - and can say that they are hands down the best event company out there. For my last event (corporate fundraiser) Selina (the owner), met with me personally and went over each and every detail, and thought of multiple things that I didn’t event think about. She is quick to respond via email, and made sure that everything ran smoothly through setup and execution of the event. She created a beautiful setup, provided lovely certerpieces and even coordinated all take down after the event.
