It started with my own personal journey to improve health and gain fitness. I was never active growing up, so when I was in my early 20s, I started exercising and was inspired by some of the personal trainers whom I learned from. The greatest challenge was in the very beginning when having to work one on one with clients and getting over the nervousness of the first few personal training sessions.

Open communication and listening to the needs of her clients are the key points that Michelle Genin always consider in her work. Michelle's clients are generally aiming to improve their health and are happy with themselves. She helps them realize that they can do more than they thought.

One of the most successful [projects], and it was a surprise, is an older man 70+ who, when we first trained together, had very strong hand tremors, very little strength, very little balance, and very little coordination. In about 3-6 months, his hand tremors are almost nonexistent; his balance is much better, and he could do so many things he could never do before.

Michelle enjoys seeing her clients gain confidence and learn along the way. Michelle uses an educational approach to training, so her clients can also learn how to do what's best for their health and fitness.
