OJ came recommended by another trainer. I had not been seriously active for over 15 years which was greatly affecting my overall health.The workouts have been designed and targeted for my specific needs. They vary in content (Upper body, lower body, aerobic, strength and balance) with both short term and long term goals. I also asked and received dietary input and a moderate workout schedule in between my scheduled sessions. Highly recommended.

Hmmm... I'm not really sure how to write a review for this guy without sounding like a cheesy advertisement, but really, that's just how wonderful he was. I've been a long distance runner since I was 12 (I'm 26 now) and cardio has always been my preferred exercise. I've been plagued with injuries off and on for the last couple years so I decided I would give personal training a shot, learn how to sculpt and work out my body in a different way. I am so glad Manuk was up to the task. He sat me down and asked me exactly what I wanted to accomplish during our time together and what my long term goals were. He gave me an overview of what he thought the best plan was to meet these goals and always answered my persistent (and annoying) questions. One of my biggest problems with being in the gym and trying to convert to a healthier life style is accountability. I can work hard in the gym with Manuk three days a week, but it's the times that I wasn't with Manuk that made it hard because it was easy to "cheat". Manuk makes himself accessible to his clients. He encourages you to share apps such as my fitbit and my fitness pal to help with your nutrition, he encourages you to text him when you have questions... and I do mean any question. This guy even gave me tips on what booze would be least damaging to meeting my goals when it came time to go on vacation with my friends. The most helpful thing about Manuk, however, is how much he cares. There were times were I had personal things going on in my life that really affected my performance when I would meet with him, but he would be right there in that moment with me telling me he understands and encouraging me to use that in our work outs. And it worked. I, unfortunately, had to move 400 miles away for work and family, but I have yet to really click with any fitness instructor or trainer the way I did with Manuk. He's just that genuine (something I'm finding out is pretty hard to come by in this industry) and just that great.
Working with Vinny has completely changed how I work out. I was always good at motivating myself at the gym, but I knew I wasn't maximizing my time. By combining martial arts, weight training, cardio, and my own diet plan (created by Vinny and based on my specific measurements) I'm now seeing big changes in my body. He's such a great motivator to do that "one last rep" and really focuses on not only training the body, but the mind as well. I'd recommend him to anyone and everyone!!
Ronnie and I have been working together for the last year, although I only just realized I never hit the hire button on this site. Whoops. Ronnie has been an excellent and fun instructor. She keeps the workouts challenging and varied. I have always lacked motivation to work out on my own and her positive guidance has begun to turn that around for me. I feel stronger and have accomplished many physical goals that I never thought I'd reach. Ronnie comes to my home for our sessions and is always on time and upbeat. And although I have some basic equipment she supplements with her own as well. TRX anyone? So great. I feel sore the day after but not so bad that I can't sleep or find myself dreading the next session. Just enough to know you did some good. I Highly recommend ronnie.
I have worked with Aaron over the last couple of months and he's great! I saught professional help after I found out I have a hormonal imbalance called PCOS. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome occurs in 1 in 20 women, developing from puberty, it stole my life. I was overweight, with an insulin resistance, mood disorder, sleep apnea, hair loss, high testosterone level, and a high risk of heart disease and ovarian cancer. Since working with Aaron I feel like he taught me to gain back control of my life. I'm 40lbs lighter, with more energy and good health than I ever thought was destined for me. A big part of Aaron's program is paleo eating, which helped my insulin levels because I wasn't eating processed foods, carbs, or sugar. I also can't induce too much stress on my body because of the delicate hormone balance, my workouts with Aaron are helpful and stress free. We figured out what I can do physically and than slowly pushed me to higher levels. We do a lot of strength training, cardio intervals, and balance work. I never knew how weak my back was until I started working it out. Now, I have less back pain, more confidence in my bodies abilities, balanced moods, less acne and inflammation. In December I had blood work done and my insulin and testosterone levels have made a 180' change to normal. Working with Aaron was literally a life changing decision for me! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a healthy change back to basics!

Johnny is awesome! From the moment I met him I could tell he was a pro. He was so hyperaware of what was going on around us at all times. As far as self defense goes, he's the absolute best! I've been meeting with him weekly and my progress thus far is really exciting. I know that if in an unfortunate situation I wouldn't freeze and could fend for myself. We do everything from basic self defense (if being attacked with knife/gun/sexual assault) to cardio and boxing. I love training with Johnny and can't wait to get grow even more in my ability. I highly highly recommend him! He is also so so knowledgeable and sweet and so impressive. A living breathing better version of John Wicke but a total teddy bear on the inside.
I almost don't want to post a review so I can keep Eric for myself! :) He is a gem! I feel so fortunate to have found him. Great guy and his style is very easy going yet goal-oriented. Our interactions can be summed up like this: Eric: "So, tell me what you want to accomplish..." Me: "Blah, blah, blah..butt, abs, arms...less tortilla chips..." Eric: "Alright let's try this and go from there...If that doesn't work for you, let's try something else...I have so many exercises to teach you...This yoga stretch will really help your hip...Try this - the navy seals do this...Have you ever done this, that...? How are you feeling? Listen to your body." I'm summarizing/paraphrasing but overall Eric's style is perfect for me - fun, educational and structured.
I have taken a number of classes with Kelly, and walked away from each session with clarity, calmness, lightness, and overall improved state of well-being. Kelly is thoughtful and purposeful in her flows and sequences, and has one of the most calming presences I have ever experienced. Her love for the practice of yoga is evident, and she is passionate about assisting people in their own journeys as well. Her classes have a positive and happy atmosphere, and I always look forward to furthering my practice under her guidance. Kelly is a bright light in the world, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been able to practice with her.
Rene is the best! She's confident in her work and really pays attention to how pilates can work for you. She's very caring, very sweet, and responsive to your needs and questions! I have a background in dance, acrobatics, and yoga, and after having taken pilates only twice I have gained much more body awareness with her privates! Definitely worth it.
Everyone should have Susie Rodriguez as a personal trainer. I was seeing a chiropractor twice a week for neck and back pain. Then I hired Susie as my personal teainer. I was paying her less to work out three times a week and saw much better results. My pain disappeared. I am 54 years old. When I started training with Susie I needed to lose 100 pounds. For anybody who has ever struggled with weight loss you know how overwhelming a number like that is, especially at my age. On top of that I had a bad knee and needed knee surgery. But that didn't stop Susie. She had so many different types of exercises we could do to lose weight while working around my knee injury. On days when my knee was too painful to do our regular aerobics exercises Susie modified our work outs. She got me on a stationary bike and we did ab work. I wouldn't have believed it, but some days I burned even more calories doing those work outs. I had no confidence in my myself before working with Susie. She is such an amazing motivator. Not only did I gain confidence in what and how much I could do but she pushed me past what I thought I was physically capable of doing. She never pushed me too far, just showed me how much inner strength I really had. I love Jillian Michaels from The Biggest Loser. I used to call Susie the nicer version of Jillian. I was amazed at how strong I got in such a small amount of time training with Susie. Almost more important than the exercise for me was the nutrition side of things. I love food, love to eat. But I didn't have good eating habits. I was a junk food junkie. Through Susie I learned about healthy eating. If it comes in a box or a package, don't eat it. As soon as I started eating "clean" I was amazed at how much better I felt. I had more energy, no more digestive issues, and I started to see my physical transformation take place. I had a million questions and Susie patiently answered everyone of those. I lost 48 pounds while working out with Susie and dropped 3 pants sizes. Then I had knee surgery and couldn't exercise, then Susie moved away and I got real sick. I felt lost and gained some of my weight back. But Susie was never far from my mind, nor were the things she had taught me. As soon as I am well again I will be back in the gym 6 days a week and eating clean. Susie gave me all the tools I need to get healthy so I can lead a happier, more pain free life. I will be eternally grateful for everything she did for me. Everybody should have Susie as their personal trainer. I guarantee you won't regret it. Erin D.
I first began working with Jared after a series of 3 or 4 mediocre trainers. So when he put so much effort forward to initially and constantly understand where I was in my body, health wise, and where I wanted to be I was pleasantly surprised. Jared goes out of his way to make sure I have an understanding of what is going on with my body and am on track in and out of our sessions which I greatly appreciate. He has a vast knowledge of his profession and ties our work in with my dance and yoga background which helps me on a personal and professional level, as a yoga instructor. I would not be where I am today physically, health wise, and knowledge wise if it were not for his dedication. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a true transformation.
I have to say, I have been trained by different fitness instructors for several years and Eric Bowling is truly one of the most thorough, knowledgeable and caring trainers I have ever met. From beginning to end of my sessions, he is constantly watching and guiding to make sure my form is perfect. He always gives the reason behind doing what he is asking me to do, the muscle groups that are being used and is pretty much a genius with proper nutrition and supplementation. I have to tell you, I had my doubts as he is the youngest trainer I have ever hired. I am glad I set those doubts aside because he truly is so passionate about what he does, keeps the workouts fresh, pushes me to go beyond what I think I can do and really takes the best interest of the client in mind. He wants everyone to be successful with their goals. During the summer I wasn't able to get to the gym for a while because I was opening a new location for my business. He called me and asked me where I had been. That meant the world to me because at the time he wasn't even training me so it wasn't as if he had to call me because I had missed a session, he called me because he was concerned. I had known him the least amount of time of any of the trainers I had previously worked with at my gym and he was the first one that had ever done that. I won't ever forget that! I’ve been using Sarah for pilates instruction and all around fitness training. Her style is upbeat and encouraging. Her strengths are pinpointing certain muscle groups and she is great on technique. All around a fantastic trainer. Highly recommended.
