He's a stickler for the foundational elements, which is exactly what I need to take my guitar playing to the next level. He is truly interested in seeing me improve. I'm a songwriter and I need to up my game to be able to hang with co-writers who are more advanced musically, and I also have the goal to play out at writers rounds and open mics and I need to get a little more proficient for that. We're playing acoustic. We've done both Skype and in-person lessons. Highly recommended. Good location. Update: I recently joined his Guitar Mastery Apprenticeship program, and it is fantastic. Wish I joined earlier. I want to make a living out of my passion playing guitar and Ahmad said he can help. He did! 3 month into the program I am making more than $10k/month from performing and publishing songs. Next month is on pace to beat that amount! I like and appreciate Ahmad!"See more

We aren’t from the same state so he made sure to use video chat and made sure to align schedules through the different time zones we had. He provided great structure to learning guitar and was a huge encouraging teacher throughout every lesson. Would definitely recommend him!"See more

He worked with me right away with scheduling and really had so much to say about the power of music, which is something I have always felt. I had experience in vocals and piano, but always wanted to learn guitar. I brought a $15 guitar with me to my first lesson knowing that Edward would need to restring it. Unbeknownst to me the guitar was pretty much worthless, so he helped me find a reasonably priced guitar on line and really had my best interest at heart. His follow up has been wonderful, giving me chords to practice and theory to follow. His teaches the guitar and lets you make it your own. Very nice and easy to work with and would highly recommend based on my passed music lessons."See more
