I have been taking Spanish lessons from Ms. Price. She is incredibly personable, knowledgeable and helpful. My Spanish skills have soared since I've started with her. Very friendly, she is an excellent teacher. She knows where weak points are and knows how to explain advanced subjects in a way which is very understandable. I am definitely going to continue lessons and I highly recommend Ms. Price to anyone who is seeking to improve their language skills.

I had a fantastic experience with IDESLI. I logged on to Thumbtack one morning to find a Spanish tutor. I needed help brushing up on my speaking skills for a new job. Literally within an hour, I was corresponding with IDESLI, and they were pairing me with a classes package and a program that was a perfect fit for my needs. I started classes the following day! IDESLI was professional, friendly, and did I mention well-located? Right in the heart of the Financial District. I worked with Carolina, who knew that the most important thing for me was to talk a lot in Spanish, so we had some great conversations, and she helped me throughout with learning lingo, colloquial terms, etc. She also gave me some more formal homework on remembering verb conjugation and vocabulary that was specifically relevant to my field. I hope to continue participating in the IDESLI community by attending some of their upcoming Spanish movie nights. :)

Roslyn is absolutely wonderful! She is extremely patient and has a very thoughtful teaching style. Roslyn was also very prepared for our first meeting. She took the time to research the countries that I will be visiting so that we can plan our lessons around my trip, and even brought books for us to reference. I will continue to use her services and I will definitely recommend her to friends and family.

Sylvia is tutoring my daughters in Spanish. They never had Spanish before, and when they moved to a new school, the level of Spanish is very advance for someone who never had the lessons. Sylvia works with them in getting them up to speed. In a short time, both my children had become comfortable in following the lesson at school, and I have noticed that both of them have made quite significant improvements. My oldest daughter tells me that once she is comfortable with her Spanish, she wants to start French with Sylvia. I am sure that if either of my kids need tutoring in Math, Sylvia would be the one we go to. If your child or children need extra help in academic, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you call Sylvia. My children are very happy with how she teaches. Sylvia is also opens to different approaches in teaching. If my kids want more challenge, all they have to do is tell Sylvia and she will give them challenging lessons.

Ms. Zepeda has been tutoring my homeschooled 4th grade son in Spanish. He is very bright but new to the language, and really needed a sharp, encouraging, supportive instructor to help him along. Raquel has been such a wonderful blessing. Warm, patient, intelligent, dependable, and professional--she's been fantastic for our child. He is learning a lot and is excited about the process, due in no small amount to her fun and savvy guidance. He really looks forward to lessons with her! I would highly recommend you see if she is a match for your family, as well.

About

I teach conversational Spanish. I love a good conversation and meeting people. I am a native speaker of Spanish and I know very well the subtleties of This language, its formalities and colloquialisms. In my classes I like to integrate the language and the sociocultural contexts in which it comes alive. To integrate the language with the respective sociocultural and historical contexts in which this life works.

I hired Edgar to help me better understand my startup equity while also helping me come up with a plan to pay off debt. An hour later and he's helped me save thousands of dollars in fees while also clearly setting me up to succeed in making the most out of the benefits I get from my job. I can't recommend him enough. He's clear, patient and a joy to chat to. Definitely hire him if you're looking for a financial coach!

My name is Anna, and I'm from Barcelona (Spain). I moved to California 2 years ago, and since then, I have been conducting Spanish classes for all ages and levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The lesson includes conversation, grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading and understanding. I always teach to meet your specific learning needs. Classes are available during weekdays. We can have our sessions at your home, local coffee shops, the library, or even outdoors (if the weather is nice). I charge $40/hour for one-on-one classes and $30/hour for student for classes with two or more students. This price is for classes in and around Mountain View. Meeting locations that are farther than a 30-minute drive one way or 10 miles one way for me are charged an extra fee per meeting. If you are interested, send me an e-mail, and I will get back to you. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks! Anna

About

I grew up In Puerto Rico, and lived in Barcelona. I have studied French most of my adult life. I know how to teach languages and to learn them. I understand the grammar and the tenses and their importance in mastering Spanish. Many American students do not understand grammar in English, but I can explain it to them and it is helpful. This is especially true with the use of the subjunctive, which is used a lot in romance languages, but not so much in English.

About

I am able to provide excellent Spanish instruction as I received a BA in Spanish from my undergraduate education, lived, studied, and worked abroad in Argentina, Spain, and Mexico and have taught Spanish at UC Berkeley while I was pursuing my graduate studies. These experiences have given me a love, and expertise, in the language, which comes through in my instruction.

About

I am a multilingual marketing professional with more than 4 years of experience in San Francisco and Barcelona. I am originally from Barcelona, Spain and currently based in San Francisco. I teach Spanish and Catalan, translate all kinds of content (website, documents, etc.) and provide interpreter services.

About

I approach my students with the assumption that they will do well. Often, American students do not understand the nuances of grammar. I can explain how the grammar in Spanish my reflect the same thing in English. Then, they understand and can master the material. This is true with romance languages which use the subjunctive much more than in English. It is also true of reflexive verbs and their use.
