I highly recommend Megan for anyone looking to improve their fitness. Megan's personal training had a major impact in my life. I took yoga lessons for her for 6 months. Through her instruction I was able to balance my mind, body and soul. I also literally improved my balance skills which helps out on my favorite activity...downhill longboarding. Megan is extremely dedicated to and knowledgeable about personal training and fitness.
Linda is a great yoga teacher & has a fun way of teaching. She is knowledgeable & helpful & works with you customizing the yoga routine depending on your needs.
My husband and I practice Yoga with Aneesa weekly. She is exceptional at tailoring our practices to our specific needs. I like it that she uses multiple Yoga disciplines to create her sessions. I always feel like I've just had a massage at the end of practice. Take a class with her. You won't be disappointed!
Kristen is a true treasure! I've loved rediscovering yoga at Full Circle and most particularly having a one-on-one session with Kristen. She is amazingly skilled and attuned to your unique challenges, aches & pains. It has been so helpful to have her tailor-made for me yoga sequence which I practice at home. I'm feeling more flexible and hopeful that I can continue to be more active and mobile. I'm so grateful and highly recommend her services!
Marjorie is, hands-down, the best "teacher" I've ever had. The reality is that to call her "teacher" wouldn't be enough. I came across Marjorie six years ago, when her class was recommended to me by another instructor, and I attended her class at then-Vira Yoga in NYC. I was blown away by everything about Marjorie: her knowledge of the whole body and of practicing yoga safely is above and beyond anyone I've ever met. I am a former soccer player with a history of chronic pain, and always shied away from regular yoga. Marjorie became my weekly ritual-I begin attending her Sunday 4 PM class at World Yoga Center whenever I could, and even sometimes went during lunch to her weekday classes. The modifications that she teaches are unlike any instructor I've ever met. She gently helps you find a way to be in every pose, commands the class with great warmth while also offering to help each student and pay attention to their alignment, and is available for consultation outside of class. She also is not like some yoga teachers, who move through the poses quickly and aren't sensitive to potential injury points. Marjorie is extremely experienced and teaches with safety first. she also incorporates sage wisdom, mindfulness, and recommendations for self-care and homeopathic remedies regularly. And she's funny! Also, she's a native New Yorker, I also found her observations very pertinent and real (for example, many New Yorkers spend time at a desk sitting in a chair, and are surrounded by lots of noise and high energy levels generally - she methodically walks you through how to adjust to each of those norms). I suspect that wherever Marjorie lives and teaches, she is fully engrossed in the patterns and habits of that location. This ability of hers to be "tuned in" and genuine goes a long way in the way she teaches her class. I was delighted to also learn that Marjorie could be a confidant and crucial consult for other health problems in my life. She will always defer to doctors and experts, but Marjorie pointed me towards a rehabilitation specialist and I have been working with for two years, who has also changed my life. Not to mention that several health and mindfulness-related books on my bookshelf are there as a result of Marjorie's recommendation. And most recently, at Marjorie's urging, I completed her reset and re-new course, which helped me to reset my eating habits and tackle my inflammation, and, as she says, "live better in my body" through diet and wellness routines. I am happy to say that I have lost 20 pounds in my inflammation is greatly reduced. And, the whole time I've known her, I've known that she is always available when I may be in crisis with my health. When Marjorie left New York City, a regular of part of my routine did go away. But, Marjorie makes herself available for private sessions via Zoom, and will regularly consult over email. She is an incredible practitioner and anyone lucky enough to should reap the benefits of her wisdom. There are 1 million instructors out there, but they're truly only has one Marjorie. Plus, her dog is adorable!!!!
We had an amazing experience with Blair as the instructor. She has a great command of the class for both people new to yoga as well as experienced. The tempo of the class is enjoyable while physically rewarding.
Kristy is great!!! I had been wanting to try yoga for a long time unsure of what to expect and working with her has really helped encourage me to step out of my comfort zone and find some time to relax and try something new and enjoyable! She's very patient, knowledgable and has helped me find a new passion for Yoga.
I've worked with a couple yoga instructors in the past and Lindzi has been the best one I have been able to practice with. It was incredibly easy to schedule a session in my busy schedule, and the way she was able to personalize the yoga progressions to fit my specific needs is why I continue to work with her and only her to this day.
I have been lucky enough to receive healing from Reiki Love on multiple occasions. She is a wonderful Reiki practitioner and Yoga teacher. In one class I was struggling to relax as I was in pain from fracturing a rib - her touch was loving and helped me sink into the Yoga pose in a much more relaxed state. Highly recommend!
A wonderful yoga teacher, and a wonderful person. I highly recommend her to anyone who is a newbie or someone who has practiced yoga for a long time. She really helped me with my back-problems! As well as making yoga easy and fun!
Leanna has been practicing private yoga sessions with me once a week. Not only has she helped me regain some physical balance, but she's helped me regain mental balance as well. She's vastly knowledgeable and has taught me much about what both my mind and body can do.
Deb is a fantastic yoga instructor! Her directions are easy to understand and follow. Deb is very perceptive, and is quick to assist or make adjustments to your form when needed. As a beginner, it was important to me that she offered modifications when I was struggling. Her class is great for beginners to advanced!
I am not one that ever considered Yoga. Always thought “This definitely isn’t for me or my answer”. But having so many ailments to my body and having trouble working out at the gym because of them, I decided what the heck I’ll give it a try. Bri understood my ailments and she thoughtfully planned out my sessions. She is very thorough, patient, and very motivating. She always sets a positive challenge for me and I can’t thank her enough for what she has done for me. Yoga IS changing my life for the better... Thank you Bri!
Fantastic Instructor. Very Fun to practice Yoga with Shuwen.
I provide art, yoga, and reiki to promote healing and well-being in all areas. Private and group sessions are offered.
I am a holistic health coach and experienced yoga teacher! I use bio-individuality to help my clients create a lifestyle that is healing and keeps them happy and healthy!
My instruction is very safe and compassionate. The experience goes beyond the physical and supports the healing of the mind and the heart as well.
We offer yoga and hot yoga classes at a brand new studio in Ladera Ranch. Our studio has a new sound system, and all of our classes are set to music.
I offer private yoga to anyone in the Encinitas/North County area who is interested in shifting not only their physical fitness level but also their mind/body connection. I have had lots of experience with private students and lots of time in a yoga room. I don't think you have to be Gumby to practice yoga, and I am definitely not hyper flexible myself. However, I believe yoga is a powerful tool, and I am grateful to share it with others. My pricing is negotiable, but I think it's very reasonable. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
We offer yoga instruction for all; no matter your age, size, hairstyle. Everyone and every body will benefit from yoga - a tried and true method of movement that benefits our body, our breath, our mind. Leslie is a skilled instructor with a decade of teaching experience in many settings. She is experienced in teaching all levels, even if you have an injury, or never thought you could touch your toes.
I've been practicing yoga for 8 years now and without a doubt, it has changed my life. Because private yoga instruction is such a personalized experience, you want to make sure you have a teacher who can adapt to your needs. I think we might be a good fit for each other if you're in pain or your mind feels fuzzy, and you want to change that! Maybe you'd like yoga to be useful and actionable rather than New Agey or group fitness like. If you're looking for someone who is also goal oriented and driven and someone who gets where you're coming from, then I'd love to work with you.
