I have started taking piano lessons at A Dawn Of Music Studios. Signing up was a very easy process. All options were clearly explained to me and Kristi was in constant communication with me during the registration process, even with my many questions about payment and she was also very accommodating concerning my postponements! I would definitely recommend Kristi Dawn's business for music lessons.

Super responsive and super great guy. His technician was delayed in a fender bender on the way to my tuning appointment, so Alex himself jumped in the car and came to my home (all the way from El Cajon to Carlsbad!). My piano sounds great - thank you. I will use you again!

Before taking piano lessons with Rebecca, my only experience with musical instruction was through elementary and junior high. Rebecca's training and personal dedication to music makes her an extraordinary teacher. We use the Suzuki books, which I love because that's what I used for violin and flute. She supplements those favorites with really nice adult-learning-centered books on theory. As an adult learner, this was helpful, because I could read through these brief books, but then had the terminology to look up my questions online or know what to ask in lessons. The lessons are so fun and well organized. We work on the songs in the books (which included CDs of the songs so you can hear what the song might sound like if you practice enough) and she would help me with songs I brought in too. Rebecca is so kind, and is great with my five-year-old too. Really, Rebecca is an excellent music instructor. Her academic background, many years of actually playing piano and singing, knowledge of the music available and books, and variety of students -- all make her a versatile teacher, capable of helping anyone learn to the play the piano in whatever style they are interested in. Plus, she is an incredible person. I look forward to piano lessons with her.

This guy knows his stuff!! Been taking drum lessons and jazz piano technique sessions with Josh and I couldn't be more impressed with the amount I've learned so quickly. I'm looking forward to studying regularly with him! Super kind dude and loves to help his students understand these difficult concepts.

Bernie has been a great drum teacher for my two daughters. He is dedicated, committed, fun and with a great teaching attitude. Always arrives on time and ready to start. A big plus for Bernie, is that my 2 daughters have autism, and he is able to engage with them pretty effectively, and redirect them when needed, as their attention and focus shifts. I fully recommend him for Drum lessons and for kids in the Autism spectrum!

My daughter loves taking lessons with Jessica. I don't really know anything about singing, so she has been very helpful in letting me know how I can support my daughter in her interest in singing. Jessica is a super positive, up beat person and is definitely a roll model I love having my daughter around. I would definitely recommend her.

I am a Filipino-American parent of 3 daughters now ages 17,12,and 11. Of course, we needed to make sure they learned piano. My eldest started with Stu at age 5 and stayed with him to age 17. In that time, she learned not only how to play piano with emotion but also to write songs and perform them in front of hundreds. Stu helped my eldest improve her song compositions and was a great mentor and sounding board on top of providing grade A instruction on technique in playing classical, jazz, and contemporary pieces. My oldest has called Stu her "music father". Today, she has opened for a Grammy nominee, the season 8 winner of The Voice, and a Season 5 American Idol finalist. My eldest daughter's music will also be featured in a major motion picture this year. These songs were first worked on in Stu's weekly classes. All three of my girls have benefited from Stu's instruction. I attribute some of their academic success as well to their exposure to music at an early age. Please allow me to highly recommend Stu as a future instructor and mentor.
