I first met Paul about two months ago while I was looking for guitar lessons. Since then I have been improving a lot in both my theory as well as my playing- thanks to Paul's efforts. I am pleased with the service he provides and the experience that he generously uses to help.
Steve is a phenomenal teacher. He is really knowledgeable and makes learning guitar a fun and creative experience!
We decided to chose Brian for my teenage daughter's beginning guitar lessons due to his willingness to teach her the type of songs that she wanted. Right away he connected with her and her music. He taught her the theory behind playing guitar as well as teaching her the tricks and skills of how to play the guitar. His practices were enjoyable and not just rote. She learned very quickly and therefore stayed excited about learning. Brian was always very complementary and encouraging. Brian also helped us buy useful equipment like a tuner, etc. She always felt safe and comfortable. We would highly recommend Brian as a guitar teacher.
John is great person. Currently my daughter's are learning guitar and piano with the help of John. I am 43 years old and I am taking guitar lessons through John. Very polite and extraordinary knowledge about music. Cheers John!!!
We found Sid on Thumbtack and he has been giving guitar lessons to myself and my two kids for last 18 months. He is super great with the kids and an awesome teacher. Would highly recommend.

Beginner electric bass guitar lessons, 1 hour per week, at Rancho Canyon Music. I have been taking lessons with Lou for two months. Lou is an experienced, knowledgeable, and patient instructor. Additionally, he is personable and has a good sense of humor which makes the lessons fun. Lou finds ways to easily relate a theory or technique to you in everyday terms. He is a formally trained musician who performs regularly for audiences. His training and regular performing, coupled with his teaching techniques makes him my first choice for music instruction. Lou arrives on time and is ready begin working with you, evidence he values your time as well. Lou goes above and beyond for his students by providing in class resources, useful online content, and instructional online videos. All of which I have found helpful and not readily found in other music instructors. Lou can quickly analyze what is happening and provide you with helpful input to help you understand and improve. It is clear to me Lou understands the teaching process. He explains things in a logical order, using building blocks of learning. I would highly recommend Lou to all of my family and friends. An hour lesson is filled with easily digestible information and practical application. My understanding and enjoyment of playing my bass guitar has been energized working with Lou.
Chris is a skillful instructor who will help you develop guitar techniques in the first lesson. I needed help with the basics and he helped me improve on the fundamentals and groundwork of the guitar. Highly recommend!
I have taken guitar lessons from Kim for many years. Not only is she an amazing guitarist who provided expert guidance but she was able to help me move from a basic beginner status to new levels in chord progression and improvisational technique. I highly recommend her lessons for an anyone with an interest in learning more about playing the guitar and music in general.
My family feels very fortunate to be musically connected with Mr. Damien Smith My son, Corey, has been taking guitar lessons from him for the last two years and he has really made major strides as a young musician. The skills, knowledge, support and flexibility that Damien provides has kept my son excited and dedicated to learn more! Not to mention that he also has a refurbished home studio with an array of tech equipment and musical instruments to record your music - which is a bonus! We highly recommend him as an instructor! He's one very cool, nice guy!
Omar is very professional and patient. My daughter is enjoying her cello lessons.
My son takes guitar lessons from Jim and is really enjoying it. He began in June and has learned a lot about music theory and guitar playing from Jim. I recommend Jim based on his passion for playing guitar and teaching it to others. He is very polite, respectful and punctual.
Cosima is a very personable and knowledgeable vocal coach. Her demeanor is comforting yet encouraging when working through those "rough notes". In the short time we have been taking lessons from her, she has given my son much needed confidence to navigate his changing voice. We are very happy to have found Cosima!
Wonderful teachers and wonderful owner, my daughter has been taking piano lessons here for 2 years and has learned so much.
At the age of 9 my son Julian started to take group guitar lessons from Pat. After that session I ask Pat if he does private lessons, he said yes but its at La Puente. So from Chino Hills I took my son to La Puente every Saturday for the next 5 years. He is very good with kids and I highly recommend him. My son now 18 enjoys writing songs & performing.
After taking lessons with Alejandro for about 6 months, so many doors were opened to me in my career as a musician, not only I acquired so much knowledge but I was inspired by him as well. He is very professional, he was always on time and willing to help me with any questions.
I have two nieces and one nephew. Taking lessons at home, my eldest niece started reading music, learning guitar and piano several days after her kindergarten ceremony. By the time she entered 6th grade she outperformed me in many areas even though I was also taking lessons from Ernest. He always shows great care in the process of learning, practicing, and mastering the instrument. My nephew ended up picking up the guitar and my youngest niece acquired the language of music & instruction possibly as early as her crawling under the keyboard and listening to her older sisters lessons over the years. By the time the youngest entered 1st grade she was composing legitimate piano pieces and all three kids eventually shined as the brightest music stars in their K-8 school. Ernest is sensitive to the needs and interests of the learner. Whenever possible he provides additional time. His foresight and attention to detail facilitates the maturation process and sustained growth available only through the delivery and mastery of his craft. My niece expressed gratitude by giving him drawings of the sun, clouds, hearts, trees and smiley faces beneath the words, tHANk yOu ErnSt. Grandma also happily made snacks and treats for Ernest. At this time I cant think of anything for Ernest to improve because the proof can be heard in the music. I will be more than happy to discuss our music lessons with ErnSt.
Lucas is a very talented musician and teacher. He has taught guitar to both of my kids for the past 5 years. He's patient, fun and willing to tailor lessons to the individual's needs and personal goals. My 13 year old son (who has taken lessons with Lucas since 2nd grade) has learned to read notes, play chords and how to improvise on the guitar through his lessons with Lucas. He plays in our church band and does very well.
Dan has been my Guitar instructor for over a year. He has the ability to know my way of learning and because of that I'm able to learn the songs faster, of course we all know you have to practice. I would highly recommend Dan for his patience, knowledge, skills, experience and his love of teaching.
Great place for my daughter's piano lessons. Even though it's far, it's worth the drive. Great teacher and great staff.
Bobby John has been very responsive regarding availability, responding to texts and phone calls very quickly. He was able to accomodate my request for evening lessons. At my first lesson he was very personable, making me feel at ease for my first music lesson ever (at age 51). We discussed my goals and then immediately started playing chords. It was fun and the exercises (and take-home) had me making pleasant sounds right away. I'm looking forward to my next lesson.
