Tahli is one of a kind! I asked her for a last minute surprise photoshoot for my engagement and she was happy to help. I hopped on a call with her to describe what I had planned and she went above and beyond to call the venue and make sure we would be able to take photos there. She was communicative and was able to keep my girlfriend (now fiance) comfortable throughout the entire photoshoot process. On top of that, she was diligent in filtering and editing the photos in a timely manner. Only took her a couple days to get us the final photos. We loved them so much! We hired Krisann Photography to document our 50th wedding anniversary celebration in late December 2025. It was easy to contact Kristi and to sort out all of the details ahead of the event. She brought her son Austin to help work the party, and they arrived well ahead of the start of the event; we discussed what we were looking for, and Kristi made some excellent recommendations. They were very professional during the celebration and took lots of great photos, both posed and informal. Kristi got me the first drop of about a dozen photos in just a couple of days so that I could put together our Christmas card, and the full gallery arrived about 10 days after the event. It was a real pleasure to work with Krisann Photography, and we'd certainly do it again.

Peter did such an INCREDIBLE job with our engagement photo shoot. I have to admit I was a little skeptical because his prices were so reasonable but I could not have been more impressed. My mom just got married! But a couple of weeks before the wedding I touched base with her about the wedding details, it turned out she had not booked a photographer to capture the special event!! We booked Ivy months in advanced over the phone for our wedding photos. Then a couple of months prior to our wedding, Ivy reached out and offered a free engagement session as she was offering that to customers who booked them for six hours or more. We appreciated the nice gesture as we had booked prior to her promotion offering. We were so busy planning but so glad that we took advantage of the engagement session as that was the first time we met Ivy and Mark in person and we also had a chance to discuss what we wanted to capture in our photos. Both Ivy and Mark were very pleasant, professional and most importantly, you can tell they take pride in the quality of their work, and they really want to make their photos and their subjects shine. We had a lot of activities on our wedding day, including lion dancers, and they were on top of everything, capturing every moment, which was evident in their photos. I also had a request to take some night time photos at the arch, and they made that happen with special lighting preparations. Ivy and Mark are truly a great team to work with and we highly recommend them! It’s rare these days to find people who really care about their customers like Ivy and Mark does!

Brooke was the first photographer I got a quote from through Thumbtack and her rate was perfect! I chose her after reviewing other photographers’ quotes and profile. We set up a date because I wanted to talk to her about what I expect and my questions and concerns and to drop off my deposit (11 months before my date!). She showed up on time and prepared. First, we talked about my concerns because I didn’t think I would as pretty as the brides she has photographed; I was wrong. She comforted me in saying all brides look pretty and if anything, there is photoshop. She had brought photobooks of her work which was displayed very nicely and she had a contract. Wedding Day (March 2017): My day was off to a great start because of her. She came into the room with a smile and asked for the bride. I wasn’t in my dress yet but had my make-up and hair done so she did not recognize me. She gave a little intro for her and her second shooter. We got started immediately. She was very quick to capture the moments. A wonderful and fun person to work with. Her second shooter was just as amazing as her. I’m glad her was organized the day of and she uses the same note-taking app as me and I’m very particular with note-taking. Throughout the day, she kept us on track with the list of shots. She gave suggestions for poses as we were not familiar with much. She was very professional and easy to work with. She has a quick response time. Her payment terms are very reasonable too (a deposit to book the date and remaining balance 1 week before the date). She is definitely worth the cost. Her contract and invoice are professional and well-done as well as a list of photography shots. I'm glad she exceeded my expectations for a photographer. She was quick to show a couple of my pictures on social media and give me an amazing sneak peek within a week! Final pictures took about a month and gave me a special surprise! I would do it all again with her with a requirement that she must bring Maddie with her. I wish I could’ve had my wedding for 3 more hours just to have more pictures!

We’re from Houston, Tx and traveling to San Diego for the first time. I saw all the positive reviews and great pictures that she took and thankfully she was available. We made the booking about a month before coming and Paula was great to set aside a 2nd day just in case the weather was bad on the first day scheduled for pics. Thankfully weather was amazing that weekend. She met us at Balboa Park. We actually made her wait a bit as we weren’t familiar with the layout and parking. But once we arrived Paula was very polite, professional and just easy going. Once she kept saying “Let’s mosey on down here”- I knew she was a Texas girl. 😊 She took us to few spots and got some great shots. She was even flexible when hubby decided he wanted some headshots. The turn around for the pictures were just a couple of days and easy to access. This was our first location professional family photo and we just love it. Paula is super easy to communicate with and I highly recommend her!!
