Jonathan is completely present, completely encouraging, and pushes me to do my best. He doesn't have that over-the-top annoying trainer vibe, either; he's just solid and awesome. His gym is great: the equipment is clean and in perfect condition, and the people that show up are all serious about improving their health and fitness and hitting their goals. Hire this guy.
Being an athlete my entire life I have had many coaches, personal trainers, and workout experiences. The workouts OJ from One Body has designed to meet my workout goals have been extremely challenging and a perfect addition to my current workout regiment. Michelle has been so patient with me. I have been coaching for 3 years on and off and each time she gave me all of her attention. There’s just so much stuff to write about my experience, but basically DeVine Physiques is like the Costco of fitness! Gabriel is a certified personal trainer, a certified fitness nutrition specialist, and a certified corrective exercise specialist! I've trained with Gabriel for about three months and lost 9.5 pounds! Gabriel isn’t your typical trainer: he’s involved and efficient. He’ll help coach you on nutrition/food and even take the time to look over your food diary and give you tips! He literally builds a fitness plan for each client in order to fit their goals/needs. He helped me train for a 5K and solved this ongoing problem I’ve been having with shin splints! Lastly, he doesn’t waste your time. Each session runs very efficiently. In between exercises he incorporates ACTIVE rest periods so you’re still moving but still getting a break. You’ll definitely walk out of those sessions feeling like you’re on top of the world. Basically, if you’re looking for someone that is honest, kind, professional, and knowledgable I HIGHLY recommend looking into DeVine Physiques to help meet your goals!
I was introduced to Coach Hunter when my son was in the 8th grade. I was told that he was one of the best 1-on-1 coaches in the San Gabriel Valley. When we met Coach Hunter, my son had been a long time offensive lineman who had suddenly grew in height and lost a considerable amount of weight. As a result, my son was no going to be considered for the offensive line in high school. I asked Coach Hunter if he could convert my son into a wide receiver since he had decent hands and was 5' 11" in the 8th grade. To which he agreed to help Coach Hunter's rigorous workouts, his attention to detail and his customized training had an immediate impact on my son's performance. Within a short period of time, my son was not only competing as a wide receiver, he became a starting wide receiver at his high school. Due to the tremendous amount of success that we experienced so quickly, I promised Coach Eric that he would remain my son's personal trainer throughout high school. This year, my son achieved what only 2% of all high school football players achieve. My son received a full scholarship to play football for a Division 1 school as a wide receiver. For a kid who only has played wide receiver for four years, the odds of achieving such a feat is tremendous. We owe all of it to the work of Coach Hunter. Coach Hunter is a man dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football. He has expert knowledge on both sides of the ball and has been a great mentor to my son, on and off of the field. Not to mention his rates are extremely reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend Coach Hunter for any parent who is looking to have their child compete at the high school and college levels.
Meghan is a powerhouse - a true professional! She walks her talk by staying fit, healthy and progressive in the best practice methods available. Although I am a certified health and wellness coach, she added depth to what I know. She provided great tasting recipes that were satisfying and easy to prepare. She also was my personal trainer and yoga coach. She pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me understand the true strength of my body. If one makes the commitment to stay dedicated to her program, tremendous health and fitness will be the reward - I highly recommend Meghan!
Gil was an incredibly effective and motivating trainer. With his extensive educational background and understanding of balancing the weights, with diet, and cardio - I find training with Gil to already have significant effects not only on my body but also my overall health. I also appreciate the constant communication even when I'm not around and traveling, making sure to keep me on track and keep my diet in line with the overall goals of my training. he's a great guy and couldn't recommend him more to anyone out there that wants to get into great shape, better shape, or really just kickstart a healthier lifestyle.

i have been working with Rose for close to year. when i submitted my quote request, she was the only individual of the 5 responders that actually took the time to read the request and respond specifically. all of the others submitted automatic responses. i have fibromyalgia and, 3 months after i began working with Rose, was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. the fibro is a nightmare & the bc surgery & treatment has made it 10 times worse. if not for Rose's work, i truly believe i would have lost my livelihood and gone underwater in my life. she has not only strengthened my body, but is well-versed in nutrition and has guided me towards major changes in my diet that enable me to cope with my illnesses. friends, she saved my life. if you're seeking a non-self-absorbed personal trainer who knows her stuff and is deeply serious about health, she's the one for you.

I will admit at first I was a little nervous about walking into my first session with LaVelle. I was thinking it was a weight loss program designed for men. Looking at the wonderful reviews about LaVelle helped ease my nerves about the program. I knew I needed to do something different because exercising by itself was just not taking the weight off. After being on the program for approx. 20 weeks, I realize the changes I’m making today are long term gains. My transformation has helped me change my mindset on how I view food and what I put into my body. I’m more cautious of the types of food I eat and I’m actually enjoying eating healthier. Tommy is an awesome basketball coach. He always made sure to make me practice and focus on my fundamentals and footwork. I play power forward and center so he taught me how to move my feet and perform power moves in the post. One of them was catching the ball behind and on the side of the basket then taking a power dribble and go up while rotating my body with my pivot food as the center of my gravity. The moves he taught me are efficient and effective so I learn how to play smarter while exerting less energy for each move. He also taught me how to shoot effectively as a big man. Focus in the range I'm effectively in using pivoting techniques that requires no more than two dribbles to get me to an open spot for a shot. Overall, he taught me a great deal and I highly recommend him as a coach!
