I took private adult saxophone lessons from Richard for almost one year. Thanks to his guidance, I started with almost zero know how to playing pieces like Desafinado, Take Five, and Peter Gunn Theme with excellent tonality. He has his own unique style of teaching that really catapults you to success quickly within a short amount of time. Regrettably, I moved up to San Francisco so will be unable to continue lessons with him. Highly recommend him for private lessons

Raffia was my four year old grandson's (Taylor) piano teacher. From the very first day we entered her studio, she treated us with the utmost respect. I was so impressed on how well she worked with Taylor. She has a lot of patience and went out of her way to make sure we both understood his piano lesson. Taylor enjoyed going to see Ms Raffia to learn piano. He had a lot of fun. Without a doubt I would recommend Ms. Raffia to anyone who has a child considering taking Piano lessons. She is the greatest!!

I started taking lessons with Toby about 5 months ago. I had been taking lessons for about a year and a half with another teacher after a 30 year hiatus from seriously playing flute. I have made tremendous progress with Toby. She is patient, yet pushes me to improve in all aspects of my playing. She is also teaching me music theory which none of my other flute teachers taught me. My flute lesson is the highlight of my week.

My thirteen year old daughter has been taking piano lessons from Leigh in her home for about one year. She has been kind and encouraging in her instruction. With her extensive education in music, she is able to teach technique and historical background. She has also been flexible with our schedule changes. We are very happy!

Heather Klenk has been my daughter's private clarinet teacher for 4 years. She has inspired my daughter to love music and to keep playing and work hard. If not for Heather's commitment, dedication and encouragement, Emily wouldn't be the confident and talented musician she is today. She has made such incredible progress and looks forward to each lesson with Heather. Thanks Heather for being such an amazing teacher!

I teach flute and beginning piano lessons to all ages. I have a master's degree in music from USC. I have been giving lessons for over 25 years.

I am dedicated to pursuing musical excellence while encouraging my students to enjoy and create music. I cater my lessons to each individual student's needs and personality. I strive to create a nurturing environment so my students will feel comfortable playing flute and piano. I enjoy teaching and I love watching my students grow as musicians and people.

For beginners and up, I have an excellent teaching method that I learned in New York City. Learn to Improvise! Enjoy the rudiments: Intervals, Arpeggios and Chord Patterns. All lessons include BackTracks for you to play with on your home computer. Become a fluent soloist. Learn Performance Techniques. I played with Aerosmith in Boston, and now perform in Orange County restaurants and clubs. Call me for more information and gig schedules. My video samples demonstrate a variety of styles and techniques on sax and flute. Thanks for listening! Jeff Brodnick

I have been playing the flute for 13 years. I'm a flute student at Long Beach City College studying music performance. I have attended the Berklee College of Music, and I intend to transfer to a private conservatory. I love passing on my knowledge of the flute. I teach beginning to intermediate flute (I can also teach intermediate/advanced flutists). All ages are welcomed.

My goal as a teacher is to personalize and tailor the instruction to meet the student's specific needs. If the student wants to learn how to sing and perform in public, I will focus the lesson time on musicality, flexibility, adaptability and just having fun! After all, enjoying yourself is the MOST important part of experiencing music.

I teach saxophone, flute, clarinet, music theory, and composition and arranging. I like to tailor my lessons to the needs and goals of my students while still giving them a firm base in the fundamentals of whatever they want to study. The main thing is I try and approach my teaching from as many different angles as possible. Not every mind is the same, so teaching means trying to accommodate all different ways of thinking.

Whether it's flute lessons for your child, lessons as a part time instructor for a high school band, or if you so desire a flutist to perform with a collaboration of yours at a church or for an event as a soloist, you've come to the right place for a reasonable price!

I have 20 years of experience in performing as well as teaching the saxophone and flute to beginners and advanced levels. I am patient with students, and I love teaching music. I'm fascinated at how every single student learns so differently from the next one. I have performed all over the world, in jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I write original materials, and I am always searching for the best practice routine. We never stop learning! I specialize in jazz improvisation. I can teach you how to read chord changes of any style of music so you can learn how to play a solo for a concert setting or just for fun. Discipline, focus, and persistence are key elements in learning a new skill. Talent is not enough.

I am a professional flute player with a bachelor's and master's degrees in music. I have toured all around the world as the flute player to a Persian singer. My main genre is classical. I've been teaching all levels and all ages for 16 years. I teach out of my home studio, and will travel to close locations in Orange County for in-home lessons.
