Pete has a very calm and good manner with the dogs and so much useful instructions for training, which help manage the behaviors. We really like his kind, but stern approach with repetition vs. other trainers who are very aggressive physically and verbally with the dogs. Pete't training style fits well with our personalities as dog parents. We will start putting into practice what we've learned and plan to use Pete's services again for additional training advice.

Tammy is a wonderful dog trainer! I have had my dog for three years now. In the first year of adopting my dog from rescue center; he had a lot of anxiety and bark non- stop. In about seven months with working with the techniques Tammy would suggest he no longer barks when I'm not home. I encourage and recommend Tammy as your dog trainer . She has a lot of knowledge on the psychology of dog behavior , and you will see your dog have major improvements.

Les has been great in working with my 85 yr old mom and her newly adopted shelter dog, Milo. Milo is an affectionate sweetheart, but becomes aggressive towards other dogs when out on walks. We were concerned that he may not be a good fit for my mom. Les is taking the time to work with my mom and Milo on basic commands, in order to help my mom establish the role of leader, as well as the aggression issue. She has gained more confidence in handling Milo, and does not want to give up on her little buddy! Les is very calm, and a delight to work with (Milo thinks so too). He is also very reasonably priced. Thanks Les!

We have been sending our dog to Susan at Nu Pawspective for about a year now. Susan is an intelligent trainer with a "dog whisperer" instinct for dogs. Our dog loves going with Susan every day and always comes home exhausted and happy. We are thankful to have someone whom we trust to care for our dog as much as Susan does.

Debbie DeMello has helped me a lot in dealing with behavioral issues I was having with my dog. She is caring, direct, and knows what makes dogs tick! She helped me with practical suggestions, training tips, and follow-up. She also teaches small classes which I am continuing to attend with my dog. Great trainer!

Didi is a very knowledgeable dog trainer. She is patient, focused and explains in detail the methods she uses and the reasons therefore. She also provides written instructions to assist your recall of the training methods she uses. My dog is responding very favorably.

Holly is an excellent dog trainer! She uses solid training methods to produce reliable results, no matter the behavior, breed, temperament, history, etc. Her training approach moves beyond correcting specific issues; instead she addresses the overall mindset of the dog to produce a calm, balanced and HAPPY dog, which then eliminates any and all behavior problems. That's what I call effective dog training! Beyond her skill with dogs, she is equally skilled with teaching people how to employ the training techniques. She is a joy to work with--she has a positive and supportive attitude, clear communication, and a genuine desire to help folks foster a desirable relationship with their dog(s). I have had the pleasure to work with Holly over the last several weeks to address my dog's leash reactivity and fear based dog aggression. In ONE session my dog was able to walk past several packs of dogs barking and lunging behind fences with no issue whatsoever. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes (and boy did my dog look proud of herself!)! We look forward to continuing our training with Holly so my dog can earn off leash privileges at dog beaches, camping, etc. If you are seeking a dog trainer, save yourself the trouble of looking elsewhere and start with Holly! You and your dog(s) will be glad you did.

Emily was amazing with Winston! I couldn't have asked for a better trainer for my puppy! In the 4 weeks of training he became a much more obedient and well mannered little pup. I am more than confident to recommend Emily and her training camp to whom ever needs an efficient and responsible trainer.

Phoebe B trained our German Shepard dog and of all the trainers we have used she made the most progress in helping the dog to become more comfortable with different people and situations. She also took care of both our dogs and the dogs are very excited when they see Phoebe. Phoebe is very personable, open, and patient. We liked her a lot and had she not moved away from our area, we would continue to have her train and care for our dogs. She is also a very sincere and nice person! Would highly recommend her.

Simply put Koru K9 is awesome. I've made 3 behavior change sessions in the course of 1.5 months and puppy is way way better. She used to be a very nervous dog, afraid of everything and anything. Now she is calm, relaxed, walk beautifully by our side, doesn't bark to other dogs walking around. She still has lots to learn and training is an ongoing process, Koru K9 will teach you how to make your dog a better dog, they are great!
