Latest Review: She's very knowledgeable about music and very passionate about what she does. I was very scared of taking piano lessons because I thought I was too old for it, but she helped me overcome that fear. She made me feel confident about myself and pushed me to do better. I really appreciate her patience and encouragements. I also liked how she's interested in the kind of music that I like to play. I told her I was more into church songs, so she found a music book that had songs for my level. I am very thankful for the effort that she put in so I could learn how to play and have fun at the same time.

Latest Review: June—April 28, 2011 First, let me preface the following by stating that I am an adult student 55 plus. I have been taking lessons at Esther’s Piano Study for nearly a year. My start point was that of a novice….a newbie. I did not know a dot from a musical note, but wanting to play the piano was and still is a lifelong desire. She has brought me from a newbie to being able to sit comfortably at the bench and play some late intermediate literature in less than a year. I truly have progressed a very long way in a short time with her guidance. Esther is filled with enthusiasm, constancy in patience, persistence and can intuitively gauge the tempo of the lessons. She teaches with determination to draw upon all the beauty and color from my fingers that is possible.

Latest Review: My two (2) kids go to this school for Piano Lessons. It's a great school with teachers who care and they even got (ONE) of my kids to actually play correctly and she now likes playing the piano. They are strict but have real concern for the students and offer a great environment to excel. I would recommend Donna Lee and her Music School anytime. A+++++++

Latest Review: Yen thought me a lot in piano. I started my lessons with her less than 3 months ago, although it was for a short period, I couldn't imagine that I will learn so much from her. She is an excellent teacher and great pianist . First, she knows how to teach beginners and basics cuz when I first took my lessons I didn't know anything about piano, and the lessons she provided were step by step lessons that have a lot of helpful techniques. I kept noticing my improvement every week which made me really glad. Second, she thought me the music that I really like, although it was hard, i finally did it all with no mistakes thanks to here. She was flexible on what we go through in the lessons cuz sometimes i was lazy to work on the book so we work on the music that I like which is more fun lol. Unfortunately i will move out from California, but i will try to take lessons with her via Skype cuz I know I can get a lot better in piano with her excellent lessons. I would really recommend her.
