Cliff is a GREAT piano teacher! I'm just beginning to play at the ripe old age of #?. Even though it is somewhat painful to be a beginner I guess you have to start somewhere. But Cliff makes the experience fun and I do learn. The lessons are at my home and if he is running late he calls. If I need to reschedule he accommodates. He makes certain you are mastering the lessons and theory. It's been over 6 weeks since I've started and I'm reading music and starting to get it...not bad for an old guy. Really like Cliff, you will too.

Started going for violin lessons (I'm in my 20's with no music background). Had only a couple of classes so far. I really like the pace and her style of teaching. She is professional and very easy to work with.

Andi is awesome! Incredibly knowledgeable, very talented, super friendly, making each session easy and comfortable. He's great at adjusting his teaching to your learning speed & style. Andi's positive reinforcement is motivating. He listens as well as he instructs and his studio space is an ideal learning environment for all stages of learning. The handouts, resources, and tools he provides make learning with him that much more convenient and affordable -- all you need is your guitar! He knows more than just how to play, he understands and can teach music theory, adjusting the practical to theory ratio based on your preference and desired outcome as a musician. He is flexible with scheduling as well. I'd recommend him without hesitation.

David has been teaching our son for a while now and we can't imagine having a better teacher for him. Excellent teacher: skilled, patient, creative. Our son looks forward to his guitar lessons each week and he wouldn't have come this far without David.

I can't say enough about my experience with Ken. He is very intuitive. His lessons are balence between exercises and therory. I have alway found myself mentally stimulated, with plenty of work for my fingers. He is very energetic and reaches out between lessons to give you more music to play with. His warm and friendly personality make the lessons fly by. He also willing to work through tought topics without cutting the lesson short (schedule permitting ). I really appreciate his effort into his students. He has also been pretty flexible with my shedule. As an adult these are not the piano lessons I hated as a child. Lol

Emily has been a voice teacher for my son for the past three years. He has worked with her in three or four series of weekly classes that culminated in public recitals. As the recitals progressed, my son's singing became stronger, clearer, even more beautiful, and more confident. Emily worked with him in bringing out his best voice, in protecting his voice, in breathing, and with music theory. She was also a friendly, and wise adult for my son, offering compassion and humor during his middle school years. I look forward to maintaining contact with Emily for years. She's not someone to let of.

I play piano and could have taught my son myself, but nowhere near as well as it has turned out with Joann over the past 2 years. 1) For beginners, I love the variety of learning styles she uses. Everything from learning to read music to ear training. Scales done in a fun way, and exercises, music theory, and well-known songs. 2) As he progressed, she would identify his interests and expand on them. Like if he started playing a song for fun on the side with just the right hand, she'd say "that's great! why don't we learn to add left hand chords to it and make that part of your lesson!" She has him figure it out by ear and then write out the notes. I sit in on most of the lessons and love how patient she is with him, how she lets him ask questions, and how she softly reins him back in when he gets a little distracted. And when he gets frustrated, she is able to help him take a breath and try again. I would recommend her to anyone!

I've had six lessons with Jeffrey so far, and I'm getting SO much out of them. He's an inspiring pianist, a boundless resource of musical knowledge, and a motivating teacher, while still being tirelessly friendly and patient. So far we've worked mostly on jazz basics, music theory understanding, and the beginnings of improvisation technique, but I'm confident that Jeffrey can help me keep learning along whatever path I take with my musicianship. I feel incredibly lucky to have made this connection, and I'd highly recommend working with Jeffrey.

We have been working with Ms. White since January 2016. My boys, ages 6 and 7 walked out of their very first lesson knowing “Mary Had A Little Lamb” and this quick, concrete “take away” gave them a sense of excitement and confidence! Ms. White is very thoughtful with her instruction. She has realistic and responsive goals--like helping accommodate a variety of sports seasons and understanding the difference between her student’s temperament and attention span. She has nurtured an intrinsic and age appropriate interest and exposure to the world of piano playing. My boys pick up and play piano on their own and they love teaching their father and me their new skills. I would highly recommend Ms. White for piano lessons.

I studied advanced theory and composition with Alden two years ago and feel like I really grew musically. I'm a self-taught pianist with little knowledge of theory, and Alden was able to create a custom course for me that took into account the musical knowledge I already had put couldn't put into language. He created theory exercises for me and taught me advanced harmony, we also analyzed pieces by a variety of composers which allowed me to integrate new vocabulary into my own music. I thoroughly recommend him as a teacher both in composition and music theory!

I played acoustic and electric guitars starting at the age of 9. I never learned how to read music for lead. I could read chords. I could play lead by ear but that was not what I wanted. I put the guitars down, went on with my life, got married (still am), and became a housewife. In my mid 50's I wanted to learn how to read music and play lead again. I got Geoff as my teacher. He was great.!! He was very patient, took time to teach me what I wanted to play, wrote everything down, taught me the proper power chords, pull offs, bends, rake, just to name a few. If I didn't quite get something, he would play it over and over at my request 'till it sunk in! This was not because Geoff was not a great teacher, it was because I didn't practice enough. Being married and having other things to do made practicing as much as I wanted and needed to was hard. I have never met a nicer person who took the time to teach a woman in her fifties how to play the guitar. He gave me a lot of advice along with the lessons and the lessons were never boring. I went from half hour lessons to a full hour because I enjoyed it so much. I saw him play live with a band he was in and I was in awe! In my opinion, Geoff should be on stage and putting records on the top of the charts. He is an excellent guitar player and is very dedicated to his students. I would still be taking lessons from Geoff had I not injured my neck making holding a heavy electric guitar too painful. Hopefully, it will heal and all my music books filled with all he taught me will be put back to use. I would recommend Geoff as a fine teacher to anyone from beginner to expert. He knows what he is doing and how to make the lessons fit the student. I have very small hands and he even changed chords or notes to fit my hands without it not sounding correct. Great job Geoff. I give Geoff Svendsgaard 5 stars!!!

I have experimented with music (guitar and harmonica) for a number of years without any direction or form and I'm so blessed to have found Cherie. She creates a relaxing environment where I can focus and understand basic music theory, she makes it comprehensive which others have not been able to do up to this point. And I have now expanded into a new area in my music lessons with voice training. Each lesson gives me more confidence and assurance in my playing and singing. I highly recommend Cherie. I am also impressed with her as a performer and feel honored to have as my musical guru. I have been taking jazz piano lessons from Brent for the past 8 months and I've really enjoyed getting to work with him. He is very knowledgeable on the topic of jazz. Every week we practice improvising over jazz standards and he plays along with me on the piano or sometimes drums of there is a kit in the room. Brent if friendly and cares about his students. Would recommend to anyone wanting to take drum or piano lessons!
