I broke my back October 1, 2023. I sat and slept in a reclining chair for four months before I was cleared for physical therapy. I soon realized that traditional Physical therapy alone was not going to build my life back. I decided to begin private training with Tracy in April 2024. Signing on to train with Tracy was a huge leap of faith. How could this tiny 25-year-old girl help me regain my life? It wasn't just the injury that needed recovery, it was a lifetime of poor eating habits, lack of physical activity, and a history of obesity, I knew that now in my 50s I had to make changes, or I would die young. A year later, in addition to training, I am paying attention to nutrition, which means I am eating better and taking supplements. I am walking daily, building my strength and stamina. My back will never be fully recovered, but I feel like I have been rehabilitated. I lost 16 pounds without really dieting or denying myself of treats. I am stronger, physically, and mentally. Training with Tracy has been an amazing experience! She has provided me with different workouts, stretches, a nutrition plan, and has given me valuable information that I will always keep with me. At first I was a little nervous because I felt like I had a unique situation with some knee issues but she has been 100% attentive, supportive, and detailed in the training since our first session. After about 3 weeks I started to notice improvement and now after months of training with Tracy, I feel way better than I ever have in the past couple years. Tracy was able to tailor a specific workout and meal plan for me that has improved the inflammation in my knees and has also slimmed me down & gotten me in better shape.
