Outstanding! I had the extremely good fortune to meet Tyrone Duckett 8 months before I retired. I spent most of my career at a desk and, over the previous 15-20 years, had put on some extra pounds and neglected my fitness. Put another way, I was a unfit 65 year old slug muffin. I was unsure if my 65 year old body would respond to training or whether I would have the mettle and fortitude to commit to diet and regular workouts. At the time I started, I was recovering from major ankle reconstruction surgery and prostate cancer. My cancer was in remission after a prostatectomy, radiation, and androgen deprivation hormone therapy; my ankle was stiffer than before reconstruction. Tyrone got me started on a year long, customized cardio and strength training program, taking into account both my age and existing physical condition. We started out slow, never doing more than my neglected body could handle, but at the same time Tyrone pushed me hard enough to make me sweat at every training session. Tyrone has a firm, but encouraging attitude towards training. We did a lot of joking and smack talk about our favorite sports teams during my training sessions. I was surprised at the immediate results. Over the one year training, I dropped 60 pounds, reduced my waist size by eight inches and was able to "flex my guns" (generally performed to intimidate other males and impress females) for the first time in many, many years. My training with Tyrone not only helped me rebuild my body, but also convinced me that our bodies are amazing machines that, with a little work and commitment, can stay tuned and healthy no matter your age or physical condition. I was very pleased about my training session with Lily. I've wanted to get in shape and start bulking up for a long time now. I never really had the motivation or knowledge to needed to properly gain weight in a healthy way. Not only do you get personal training but you also get some good advice about what not to eat and what to eat which is worth so much. Lily has the experience and knowledge to help anyone meet their fitness goals with reasonable concise planning and at a fair price. For the first time training with him, he was very supportive and pushed me to finish my daily goals. I struggled with push ups and burpees and he was there to push me through. Very educated on personal training and definitely knows what he's talking about when training you. Definitely would recommend him to a friend .
I've had a few Personal Trainers (PT) over the years, some with greater success than others. After a few months of kicking around what I needed to do and which PT to use to achieve my overall health goals, I finally committed to working with Vada Rubino. When I think about where I started and where I am today, I’m amazed. I give all the credit to Vada. I’m grateful that she brought me along slowly. Vada was able to identify where I had issues and to work around old and new injuries. I believe it also helped that I was realistic about the time it would take to achieve the kind of progress I needed. Even though it was hard work, Vada was able to make it fun. Still, to accomplish my goals required discipline and consistency, I rarely missed an appointment; it was worth it, all of it. Because of Vada, today I am stronger, much more balanced and have the confidence to do the things I struggled with in the recent past. What she has accomplished with me has far exceeded my expectation. For that reason, I plan on continuing my training with Vada for the long term. If you’re looking for a personal trainer that will give you the right attention you need to accomplish your goals, Vada is the PT I would highly recommend.

I trained with Nsima for about 6 months and glad I invested in it. My schedule is hectic and he did his best to cater to it. His knowledge and expertise built my confidence because I never entered the weight lifting part of the gym. Now, I'll go because I'm confident in how to execute the workouts. While exercise is important in any fitness goal, diet actually weighs more. I was allowed to eat what I wanted (in moderation) as long as I stayed within my "numbers", aka macros, aka macronutrients. Nsima did an assessment in the beginning that is based off of age, weight and goals. Any food or drink you consume contains protein, carbs, fat and fiber. As long as you met the numbers and incorporated exercise regularly, you're golden! I wasn't the best at consistently reaching my numbers so my progress took a little longer than I wanted. Nsima holds you accountable by reporting and tracking on a Google Sheets document on a daily basis. I also wasn't good at this so again, my progress took a little longer than I wanted. All in all, I loved my personal training sessions because I'm the type of person that is not motivated to workout unless it's an appointment. The price point is good but is definitely an investment. Knowing how to do the workouts efficiently and effectively is very important to prevent injury. I definitely recommend personal training if you're not motivated to workout on your own but want that rockin' bod or to looking to take your current fitness goals to the next level.
Miranda is amazing! Her expertise in fitness is by far the best I've experienced. She is great at communicating and always on time or ahead of schedule. She is very passionate about fitness and brings exceptional value to the fitness training programs she offers. I've learned so much in so little time about fitness and nutrition. They are getting healthy by the day
I began working with Josh at a local gym and was pleased when he started his own training system. I follow him to his private practice. The training regiment Josh has created for me is responsive to my needs and designed to exercise every muscle group. I am feeling better without the usual aches and pains of being over 60 years old. My posture has improved, as has my balance and I now have exercises to do on my own. Josh is personable, patient, very knowledgeable and professional. It’s a small gym, never crowded and very comfortable. (Also my 17 year old grandson now sees Josh in preparation for his high school football spring training.)
I cannot express enough what an amazing trainer and person Josh is! I've been training with him since February and I've lost over 20lbs. I've exceeded my goals because of his exceptional knowledge and passion for health and fitness. I constantly get compliments on my weight loss and I owe it to Josh for all of his encouragement and pushing me to my max during our training sessions! If you are not training with Josh, you are missing out!
