Training with Scott is a life changing experience. He is absolutely the best personal trainer I ever have. He is knowledgeable and responsible. I feel like I'm in good hands right after first session with him. I can be so focused on training cuz he has the processed planned for me. And when I have any question, I just text him, and he is soooo nice that he answer each one of them. I've been training with him for 3 weeks so far, I can feel my muscle growing and my body having more energy. I'm sure as long as I don't move too far, I'll keep training with him. I highly recommend him to anyone that want to switch to a more healthy life style and thinking of hiring a personal trainer to help achieve any fitness goal. I don't know about other trainers, but I do know this one is GREAT :).
Santa Cruz Core Fitness + Rehab is the place to go! From the owner, Jaimi, to the receptionist, and trainers, they are all amazing and professional. They are very knowledgeable and make you feel really comfortable and positive. They are willing to work things out for you and your goals. I am just starting my fitness journey and I've never felt this great. And I've only been in for 2 training sessions. You guys need to check them out as they are expanding locations. They are now in Santa Cruz and Watsonville. You won't regret it! Also, the workouts are AMAZING!!!
I've been training with Joe for a little over 2 months, and I train with him twice a week. Joe is GREAT! What I like about him is that he knows how to motivate me, he makes each of my training sessions challenging but rewarding. He is outcome focused, and I've been able to see continual improvement from my sessions. He always ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. If motivation, flexibility, and a personal approach is what your looking for in a personal trainer, then Joe is the man for you. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals.
It was great fun training with Jared. My goal was to lose weight and be able to independently workout after training with him. In just 10 workout sessions with Jared I lost over 10lbs, started to look better in shape, can fit into my clothes that I haven’t able to for a while. Since he noted down everything for me, I can certainly workout independently now. It was his motivation and encouragement that has helped me get fitter, stronger, healthier. I would definitely recommend training with him.
My friends gave me a visit to Will for my 73rd birthday back in 2015. One of the best presents I have ever received. I decided to continue sessions resulting in big improvements my balance and core strength. I was concerned training would be expensive, but Will’s prices are reasonable. Will made me feel comfortable and not intimidated. Plus, he’s easy to talk to, so sessions go by quickly. He plans out each class to target multiple muscle groups and get some cardio. Starting training with him was one of the BEST things I've ever done for myself. I find him to be a good person, an excellent instructor.

I came to Barroga Fit with Sciatica in my lower back, but I also wanted to lose weight and gain muscle. I personally have tried virtually anything to stop the pain in my lower back. I even did physical therapy and going to a chiropractor. Those were temporary fixes, so I had to change it up. I came across Barroga Fit on yelp. After the first week of working together Ana really knows how to adjust my workouts where it can strengthen my muscles, but also control the pain happening in my lower back. After training with Ana I barely even notice that I am moving without pain in my normal life. Most people might think personal training is just for weight loss, but what I got from training with Ana is just not weight loss, but also my life back.

I have had personal trainers before but only at a gym. When i trained with Armando Ramirez it was in the comfort of his home. He trained me in his garage and it was for a month. I told him I wanted a work out plan that would target a total body work out crunched into an hour. He first weighed me and tuck measurements. So I can see my progress. That was very helpful and I like that I felt comfortable with him. I liked how it was one on one without the crowded gym environment. Armando showed me how to enjoy working out instead of counting down the minutes. I liked how it was quick and do able on a weekly basis. He always made sure my form was correct. In the past other trainers didn't give me as much attention due to other clients in the gym. Armando also pushed me when he seen I wanted to give up. But it was not aggressive it was very motivational. He showed me that I was capable of exceeding in my work outs. One thing, Armando did not have to many work out machines but his work out consisted more of stability and balance. I liked that better because I can do those work outs anywhere. No GYM needed. I really recommend training with Armando!!
Stephen is a great trainer that will tailor workouts to your level and needs, but absolutely still push you further than you think you can go. I have been training with him for a year and half via Corporate Bootcamp as well as one on one.

I've been working with Serenity in personal training sessions for the last 6 months. She is a FANTASTIC personal trainer. She has a strong passion for coaching and developing her trainees and is extremely professional. Her passion is coupled with natural talents of empathy and individualized perception of others as well as a competitive edge. When I first met Serenity, she took the time to fully understand my goals and desires for training together. She invested in learning about me, my motivations as well as the roadblocks that I had been encountering in meeting my fitness goals. If you want to challenge and push yourself, Mario is your trainer. I have seen great results while training with Mario, I am leaner and stronger. Mario’s workouts are different everyday but are guaranteed to kick your butt. He is able to tailor your workout to fit your needs. I would reeccomned Mario for any beginner, intermediate or advanced athlete wanting to improve health/performance. Mario is the BEST!!

Gabriel worked as a corrective exercise specialist at Santa Cruz Core Fitness and Rehab, where he stood out as a brilliant trainer and a specialist in getting people out of pain. He works well with clients, and his knowledge of anatomy and physiology sets him apart as a master in his field. Gabriel's worked one on one with clients with a variety of goals including weight loss, functional movement and performance, but also with injury rehabilitations and pain management. I was very impressed by his ability to assess the client's pain patterns, postural imbalances and movement patterns and then hone in on exactly the right trigger points to release in order to get out of pain and harmonize the body. In particular he was able to patiently talk clients through the self myofascial release process in such a knowledgable and thorough way that I had never seen done. Gabriel’s knowledge and abilities, and his drive to succeed makes him a true expert in his field. He truly cares about his clients, and he has a mastered his skillset. I've been taking private lessons in ballet and jazz from Zaire for about four months now, and I can confidently say that this was the best decision that I made this year! My only previous dance experience was five years ago, a beginner's class that my high school offered for physical education. Early this year, I decided that I wanted to try out for the dance team at my college, hoping I could train hard enough to prepare for auditions in September. Zaire has been the perfect dance teacher to help me work toward this goal. Every lesson, she pushes me more to perfect my technique, build up my stamina, and to really perform each movement. She works me VERY hard, but I've gotten in so much better shape and can see and feel improvement in every aspect of my dancing. Zaire instructs with the perfect balance of being tough with high expectations while keeping things fun and creating an environment in which working hard doesn't feel like work at all. She is a beautiful person who truly cares about her students! I am so blessed to have her as a dance teacher, and I recommend her to absolutely anyone who wants to experience the joy in dancing!
