It was very apparent from the start the Annemarie is an industry expert, she was able to answer all of my questions throughout the planning process, and provide great vendor recommendations for gaps I needed to fill in. Annemarie worked closely alongside me in the month leading up to the wedding to get all of the vendor contracts from me, put together a timeline, and contact the vendors ahead of time. I knew that my wedding was in good hands, the wedding day went without a hitch thanks to Annemarie. I simply couldnt have put together my release party with out her, from beginning to end she was apart of every single decision and looked far and wide for everything that was needed whether it was as big as the venue to as small as finding dog tags for a display, to help bring the party and vision to life. There were soooo many intricate details and she took them head on finding solutions for everything. She created a timeline for me and really listened to adjustments I wanted to make. She helped my friends unload and take upstairs to the venue and helped decorate. Montana kept time all night, gently and respectfully interacted with myself, my husband and our vendors. I didn't have to think about anything but making beautiful memories. She made sure all the events that were important to me happened. She even brought an assistant who took care of welcoming people and the guestbook. Then at the end of the night she carefully packed up all my decor. She didn't leave until every item was safely packed and in my jeep. Wow wow wow. I can't say enough. Please hire her. She is worth every cent! I am almost in tears as I write this. I am just that happy with Montana."See more

Martha did an outstanding job as planner and provider for my formal dinner party for over 40 people. She was attentive to detail, and tireless in interviewing and collaborating with all the ancillary services needed - musicians, florists, bakers, photographers. More importantly she seemed to be able to intuit what I envisioned, never imposing her concepts or opinions, but always providing me with excellent choices. She made the entire event seem effortless.her unflagging good nature and the personal care she took to make sure that each of the guests were enjoying themselves made the entire event seamless. I received many compliments from my guests and many requests for Martha's contact information, as well as contact information for Thumbtack. I highly recommend Events by Martha and Thumbtack!

Hiring Irene (Event Planners of OC) as the event planner for my fathers celebration of life was the best decision I could've possibly made. She was absolutely fabulous! She's clearly very good at what she does and it shows in every detail. I'll start by saying that this woman goes above and beyond her expected duties as an Event Planner. Planning funeral type services could never be easy, especially since the time frame can quite often be no more than a week or two. When you're grieving the loss of your loved one, its hard to even function- let alone plan a funeral reception for around 100 people. When I first posted my request on thumbtack, I wasn't sure if I really even needed to hire help. I was simply just seeing what my options were. Now I can confidently say that there's no way I could've done it without Irene. She was up until 2am almost every night texting back and forth with me and figuring out every last detail. From the event invite and keeping track of the guest list, to the flower arrangements, slideshow, programs and itinerary- she did it all! She not only helped with the event, but she also helped me on an emotional level. This being one of the most difficult times of my life, I was a complete mess during the planning process. And she made me feel like I could talk to her about anything.. as if I had know her for many years. I truly am so grateful for this. On the morning of the celebration of life reception, the immediate family would be taking part in a burial at sea right before the reception started. So, I was not even able to be there at the venue to set anything up (And of course, the venue wouldn't allow us to do any setting up the day before!) BUT that was ok, because I was able to have complete confidence in her and that everything would be absolutely perfect. Upon arriving at the venue that day- she proved me right. It was so beautiful and she had clearly listened to every last detail. Her wonderful son was also there to help, and I hired him to take care of all the music/setting up the sound system for the event. We didn't even get the list of music to him until 11pm the night before the reception... yet he still was able to get every last song we had requested! The entire thing ran smoothly- all thanks to Irene being on top of it all!! (She even hauled everything back home to my condo after the event- which was much appreciated) I could go on and on about every last detail- but that would take a while... so I'll finish by saying this: HIRE IRENE for your next event and you will not be disappointed. She truly was a god send. Thanks again, Irene ( and Scott!) I will absolutely be using Irene and Event Planners of OC again in the future!

When we started looking into hiring a wedding planner, we met with several amazing people, each with great ideas and packages. But from our very first meeting with Carlina, we felt like we were catching up with an old friend. She’s incredibly professional, but in a way that’s comfortable and familiar—like she's always been part of our lives. Planning a wedding is intense, and though we had already done a lot of work, we didn’t know how to pull it all together. Carlina took all our scattered ideas and turned them into a cohesive vision, making everything feel not just manageable, but easy. She knew exactly how to guide us through every decision, offering insights we wouldn’t have thought of. My husband and I hadn’t even attended a wedding before ours, so Carlina helped us figure out what was essential for a true celebration—beyond just food, music, and drinks! She made every call, text, email, and site visit feel so personal and reassuring, and there's something truly special about someone who can put you at ease while planning the biggest event of your life. We also hadn’t budgeted much for décor after prioritizing food and drinks, but Carlina came through with clever, budget-friendly ideas to make our venue feel like “us.” On the big day, she and her team transformed our venue (a local bar in North Park, shout out Crafted Coupe!) into a wedding space that took our breath away. Carlina never stopped; she kept everything on schedule, rearranging furniture and skillfully guiding guests from one area to the next. She made it look effortless and ran everything like the professional she is. We genuinely can’t recommend her enough. Carlina was not only our wedding planner—she felt like a friend who made sure our day was unforgettable.
