I've had three guitar lessons with Tim so far, and he's a great instructor! I really appreciate how flexible he is about the material; for example, when I expressed an interest in learning some theory he was eager to add a theory aspect to our lessons. He is very patient and encouraging, but also challenging--in a good way. I did not expect to be learning as much as I am now only 3 lessons in, which is really exciting. The lessons also work well with my schedule and location--he travels to me and is very punctual--which was very important for my needs and convenience as a college student. I would definitely recommend Tim to any student who is willing to practice/learn and also to have fun enjoying learning how to play guitar. :)

Matt has extensive music theory knowledge and guitar skills. He’s extremely thorough and can explain complex concepts very simply. I reached out to Matt as a long time hobby guitarist looking to learn more theory and learn more difficult pieces. In every lesson, I’ve had a “mind=blown” moment ranging from a beautiful chord I’ve never heard before to all the different ways to slap the guitar for percussion. I have been taking lessons with Bryson for around 9 months now. I had already been playing guitar for 7 years, but knew I wanted to learn more theory and improve skills across the board (neck?). Bryson has been amazing with guiding the journey through all that I've asked for, plus a whole lot more (theory, sight reading, jamming, different playing styles, learning songs, better ways to practice at home, etc.) I feel that I have learned quite a bit in the 9 months, and am a noticeably better guitar player. Hope this helps you out! He's a great teacher.

I have taken lessons from Ed for about a month and I think he's an excellent teacher. I have been playing guitar for many years and taken lessons from several other teachers and Ed has me working on things that are helping me learn the theory that other teachers did not do. I find his approach very useful and it doesn't overwhelm. Plus he's willing to take the time to learn songs and solos that you want to learn, which adds an element of fun so you're not just learning and practicing theory and exercises. Ed is an excellent teacher, a nice guy, and a fun person to talk with. Highly recommended!

I have started learning guitar with zero experience and no background in music. Erik has been excellent at teaching the basics by slowly introducing parts of the music theory but making sure it’s still fun and not overwhelming. I definitely feel more progress with each lesson! I would highly recommend Erik for any levels because he is a very knowledgeable, talented professional musician.

I had a couple years of guitar experience before starting lessons with Bryson to help address any bad habits I might have picked up. It's been really useful! A typical lesson will involve a mix of jamming (with Bryson on the drums), discussing possible improvements in technique and the structure of the jam, and going over various pieces of music theory (scales, key signatures, sight reading, etc.). It covers skills needed to be a good guitarist and a good musician in general. Also, Bryson has been very responsive over email and text messaging, which is nice.
