Allison is an exceptional yoga instructor! She is excellent at teaching any level student but especially great with beginners or people who think they are inflexible. She has a great understanding of the body and gives great alignment cues as well. I am also a yoga instructor and Allison is the first person I call to substitute my classes. She always does an excellent job!
Johanna has helped me throughout my weight loss journey. I've had the pleasure of doing one-on-one training sessions, group training sessions, zumba, and yoga with Johanna. She's been nothing but amazing in each experience. I've been working with Johanna since December, and what I absolutely love is that from the moment I met her, she has been nothing but passionate and determined to help me reach my weight loss goals. Her determination has kept me motivated to stay on track, and even push myself when I feel I can no longer continue. Like she says "I can't doesn't exist in my dictionary!" :) I'm not a morning person, but our early morning workouts are definitely something I look forward to! Since December i've lost about 50lbs, but the best change of all is that I feel healthier and happier with myself. Thank you Johanna for helping me with my transformation, and I am looking forward to even more positive changes to come, with your help! I highly recommend Johanna to anyone who wants a trainer that is knowledeable, passionate, professional, and flexible to work around your needs.
Marjorie is, hands-down, the best "teacher" I've ever had. The reality is that to call her "teacher" wouldn't be enough. I came across Marjorie six years ago, when her class was recommended to me by another instructor, and I attended her class at then-Vira Yoga in NYC. I was blown away by everything about Marjorie: her knowledge of the whole body and of practicing yoga safely is above and beyond anyone I've ever met. I am a former soccer player with a history of chronic pain, and always shied away from regular yoga. Marjorie became my weekly ritual-I begin attending her Sunday 4 PM class at World Yoga Center whenever I could, and even sometimes went during lunch to her weekday classes. The modifications that she teaches are unlike any instructor I've ever met. She gently helps you find a way to be in every pose, commands the class with great warmth while also offering to help each student and pay attention to their alignment, and is available for consultation outside of class. She also is not like some yoga teachers, who move through the poses quickly and aren't sensitive to potential injury points. Marjorie is extremely experienced and teaches with safety first. she also incorporates sage wisdom, mindfulness, and recommendations for self-care and homeopathic remedies regularly. And she's funny! Also, she's a native New Yorker, I also found her observations very pertinent and real (for example, many New Yorkers spend time at a desk sitting in a chair, and are surrounded by lots of noise and high energy levels generally - she methodically walks you through how to adjust to each of those norms). I suspect that wherever Marjorie lives and teaches, she is fully engrossed in the patterns and habits of that location. This ability of hers to be "tuned in" and genuine goes a long way in the way she teaches her class. I was delighted to also learn that Marjorie could be a confidant and crucial consult for other health problems in my life. She will always defer to doctors and experts, but Marjorie pointed me towards a rehabilitation specialist and I have been working with for two years, who has also changed my life. Not to mention that several health and mindfulness-related books on my bookshelf are there as a result of Marjorie's recommendation. And most recently, at Marjorie's urging, I completed her reset and re-new course, which helped me to reset my eating habits and tackle my inflammation, and, as she says, "live better in my body" through diet and wellness routines. I am happy to say that I have lost 20 pounds in my inflammation is greatly reduced. And, the whole time I've known her, I've known that she is always available when I may be in crisis with my health. When Marjorie left New York City, a regular of part of my routine did go away. But, Marjorie makes herself available for private sessions via Zoom, and will regularly consult over email. She is an incredible practitioner and anyone lucky enough to should reap the benefits of her wisdom. There are 1 million instructors out there, but they're truly only has one Marjorie. Plus, her dog is adorable!!!!
Amelia is a responsive and patient yoga instructor. My sessions with her leave me feeling vitalized and strong rather than feeling really sore and worn out. This is the key to why she is so terrific. She tailors her lessons to my needs and adjusts my positions as needed. Her sessions leave me wanting to practice more yoga rather than feeling like it's too hard due to the recovery being too steep. Amelia is knowledgable, flexible, and positive, and that's always a plus!
We had an amazing experience with Blair as the instructor. She has a great command of the class for both people new to yoga as well as experienced. The tempo of the class is enjoyable while physically rewarding.
I've worked with a couple yoga instructors in the past and Lindzi has been the best one I have been able to practice with. It was incredibly easy to schedule a session in my busy schedule, and the way she was able to personalize the yoga progressions to fit my specific needs is why I continue to work with her and only her to this day.
Come As You Are means just that - it doesn't matter if you are flexible or not, thin or not, into meditation or not. Amber loves yoga and sharing it with everybody, and she is very down to earth and friendly and fun to be with. She must have advanced training of some sort because she knows more than any other yoga instructor I've had. For example, she showed me how to avoid getting shin splints. Highly, highly recommend CAYA Yoga and Amber DeBarge!
Jen was the first yoga instructor who got me to get it with the breathing. I have suffered from anxiety due to a severe and scary heart condition for 14 years. It is gone thanks to Jen and learning how to breathe. She mixes up the sequences so it is always interesting and challenging and fun. Her prompts during class are perfect. Her music choice really blends with the pace as well. Her words of wisdom that she passes on are smart and simple. I love yoga because of Jen.
There are no amount of words to express my gratitude for the help Ms Mazzi provided me with her kind and gentle yoga training. What is taken away from time spent will remain with me the rest of my life .
Christian Woelk is not only an amazing yoga instructor, he is a talented personal trainer and program manager. I love that Christian is a soccer player and that carries through to his sports specific training. Also, he has many years of managing and developing corp fitness under his belt.
Angelia has been my yoga instructor over a year now. She has a wonderfull personality, is very dedicated. Her yoga lessons are technical, challenging and physically beneficial. She increased my flexebility by teaching various asanas. Overall, since I started yoga it helped me to improve my standard of living.
Amy was just what I needed in a Yoga instructor. Calm, easy going, and relaxed. I am not big on boisterous yoga instructors and Amy brought the right level of understanding and patience to my practice.
Love John. You won't regret practicing with him. He is genuinely interested in your personal goals and encourages you to challenge yourself to reach them. He's an interactive and engaged instructor who demonstrates positions and modifications, adjusts students to deepen the stretch (if you want that!), and provides support and encouragement if you're trying something new. His music choices are also on point! Whether you're a true yogi or yoga is just one part of your life, you can't go wrong with Q Yoga Wellness!!!
Kimmi is a gifted and intuitive healer. I appreciate that she is available for private session and group classes. She often donates her reiki love at a weekly yoga class I teach, and the students are always left feeling more at ease and peace. I receive many comments of gratitude from the students for her healing presence. I highly recommend Kimmi and Reiki Love.
Nikki is awesome! I've been going to her Yoga classes for a year and could not be happier both physically and mentally. The beauty of her classes is she speaks to all levels of Yoga. Her enthusiastic dialogue keeps me focused and centered. In her classes, I find myself being able to push myself through breath and mind and supersede my limitations. Her dedication to spiritual and physical well being is inspiring. I highly recommend you take her yoga classes. You will love it‼️
Lynda has helped me transform my professional life beyond my wildest exceptions. When I initially began working with Lynda I could not connect the head and the heart. Theoretically I understood spiritual law but I did not know, how to put those Laws into practice. Looking back on the last 2 years I am not the same person.I cannot imagine what we will accomplish in the next 2 years. She has helped me truly put into practice what I said, I always believed. If you are sincere about moving your life forward, and willing to put in the work, I highly recommend working with Lynda Light.
Amanda was a great instructor! She is nice a patent and beautiful!! I will definitely see her again!
She's given me private yoga lessons with lots of personal attention. Great adjustments. She's a soothing presence.
Great instruction for a first timer. Looking forward to future sessions.

Because I've studied to a master level, traveled all over the world and studied a variety of styles under reputable mentors, I love what I do and have seen endless examples of progress, positive changes, and self-realization in my students.
