I have worked with Aaron over the last couple of months and he's great! I saught professional help after I found out I have a hormonal imbalance called PCOS. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome occurs in 1 in 20 women, developing from puberty, it stole my life. I was overweight, with an insulin resistance, mood disorder, sleep apnea, hair loss, high testosterone level, and a high risk of heart disease and ovarian cancer. Since working with Aaron I feel like he taught me to gain back control of my life. I'm 40lbs lighter, with more energy and good health than I ever thought was destined for me. A big part of Aaron's program is paleo eating, which helped my insulin levels because I wasn't eating processed foods, carbs, or sugar. I also can't induce too much stress on my body because of the delicate hormone balance, my workouts with Aaron are helpful and stress free. We figured out what I can do physically and than slowly pushed me to higher levels. We do a lot of strength training, cardio intervals, and balance work. I never knew how weak my back was until I started working it out. Now, I have less back pain, more confidence in my bodies abilities, balanced moods, less acne and inflammation. In December I had blood work done and my insulin and testosterone levels have made a 180' change to normal. Working with Aaron was literally a life changing decision for me! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a healthy change back to basics!
Johanna is an awesome zumba and water aerobics teacher. Her routines are presented clearly and are challenging enough for a beginner but not too difficult to understand, and provide a great full body workout. She has tons of enthusiasm and is very knowledgable about fitness. I have not used her personal training services but I'm sure they are excellent as well!

Kathy ran a week long series of group Pilates and group aerobics classes which I organized. Each and every participant came to me after the classes to express their delight with the class content and with Kathy as a teacher. Kathy's experience, her technique and her personality all make her a superb teacher. She has changed my attitude to doing exercise and she is a role model for all women.
This is an amazing yoga studio. The instructors are talented, the space is bright and welcoming, and the location is perfect for visitors and residents. Do yourself a favor and try one of the many yoga classes offered, you will not regret it! Five stars is not enough.

Maddie was my boot camp instructor and Pilates instructor. She is fabulous. I have worked with her for years which has meant that she has seen me through injuries, strength, and weakness and always knows how to adjust her motivation and her exercises to make sure that my workout is safe but challenging. Maddie actually cares beyond the time in the studio - she checks in, follows up, and never upsells or makes you feel bad. I appreciate her honesty and toughness but also her kindness. She is a hard worker and I will go back to her and Movement Integrity time and time again. She rocks.
Cutting right to the chase, beginning personal training with Brittney Reyna(Reign Athletics) at Self Made Training Facility is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am 34 years old and at no point in my life have I ever looked as good, felt as good or had as much confidence as I do now. I had been wanting get in shape for a long time but had no clue where to begin. I didn't know what exercises to do, what to eat or what gym would be a good fit for me. That's when I found Brittney and Self Made Training Facility. Training with Brittney is like being on a two person team. She cares just as much about my fitness goals as I do. Brittney has a genuine love for her profession and it shows. Whatever exercise we are doing she makes sure my form is correct and always pushes me to my limit to get the most out of the exercise. Brittney also keeps the exercises varied and challenging to get the best results. She always addresses any questions or concerns I have even on days we aren't training. Then there's the food. Brittney ensures I am getting proper nutrition with a custom made meal plan. The meal plan is easy to follow and made up of foods I enjoy. She changes and adjusts the plan as necessary to keep me on track. Brittney has been a great instructor, motivator and ally in my fitness journey. I have a ways to go yet to reach my goal but I have every confidence I will get there with her help. I couldn't ask for more. As far as the facility, Self Made Training Facility has all of the equipment you expect to find in a top notch gym and everything is clean and well maintained. The atmosphere, however, is what really sets Self Made apart from other gyms. Every time I come in I see other happy, energetic clients being pushed, motivated and encouraged towards their fitness goals by their trainers. Everyone is friendly, upbeat and positive. Its a place you want to be at, not have to be at. So there you have it, Brittney(IG @ReignandGain) and Self Made are the real deal, 100 out of 100. My only regret is not starting sooner!
While I was anxious to begin working with a trainer, I needed the guidance and discipline of a personal trainer. Ed got me on a program of eating well, the right types of aerobics, and regular resistance and core strength exercise. I immediately began to transform my body and my thinking. Working with Ed is the healthiest decision I have ever made.
I have been fortunate enough to have had Fleur as a Pilates trainer on a 1 to1 basis as well as in a group session for several years. Her expertise is outstanding. She has the unique ability to teach by example and give her students an understanding they may not have had before. Her sensitive and caring way helps develop a strong and special bond. Fleur is very aware of health issues and in her group classes addresses those needs with her clients. I am a senior and have had osteoporosis for many years. With Fluer's help I have been able to strengthen the areas of weakness in my body. There are many Pilates instructors, but none that can compare to Fleur. How lucky I am to have found her!
