I've worked out with trainers before, even one that I loved, and the experience with Anthony has still been on a different level entirely. For the last 5 weeks, I have had the pleasure of having Anthony as my trainer. I have found capacities in my body that I didn't know existed. Anthony is hardly summed up by a five star review. Anthony has one of the sunniest and positive personalities you'll never meet. The workouts are different every day and are fun and enjoyable and never boring. The gym environment is also great. From other trainers and other gym goers, everyone is kind, supportive, and encouraging. Expect to be greeted by everyone when you arrive. Since my first day, the atmosphere has been nothing but positive. I feel very welcomed and extremely comfortable. I've been very impressed with my experience thus far. I love the that God's cultivates a great mix of clientele. I see both men and women (regardless of age, level of fitness, or experience) working on their goals.
I've worked with a few personal trainers over the years and I have to say that hands down, Evan is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I started working out with Evan over a year ago. I have chronic low back pain, and had just had a procedure that was meant to reduce swelling and allow me to exercise more and strengthen my core. I had been doing physical therapy for awhile, but found that the workouts were too mellow, and I didn't really notice any improvement in my core strength. My wife had actually been working out with Evan for a few months and she recommended I try a few workouts with him. Evan has been amazing. The workouts are intense and challenging. He focuses on doing intervals of a quick series of strengthing exercises, with a burst of cardio in between sets that keeps your heart rate elevated for the entire workout. Given my back issues, he is very good about checking in to make sure he is not stressing or straining my lower back (or any other injury I might have picked up). I have noticed dramatic improvement in my core strength and overall fitness in my time with Evan. He also has been willing to email me personalized workouts I can do on my own for days when I'm not working out him. I agree with all the other posts here -- 5 stars. Evan is great.

I've worked with other personal trainers in the past. But my experience with John exceeded my expectations for several reasons. Upon meeting him I felt quickly at ease. He was able to quickly assess my physical ability and pushed me just enough past my comfort level. I had an amazing workout! He was very encouraging and positive towards me. It was very obvious he was extremely knowledgeable not only in training but he also came up with a detailed strategy to help me reach my fat loss goals especially with my nutrition. I feel very confidant in his ability to help me. I also know he will keep me free from injury. He exceeded my expectations. It was the best experience I've had with any personal trainer.

Her knowledge of muscle mechanics and joint movement is superb. she is gentle but firm, she is efficient and reliable and she is a joy to work with. She is mainly responsible for my avoidance of surgery these past ten years despite increasing spinal stenosis. She has my highest recommendation and my gratitude.
I have worked with many personal trainers over the years, but no one has delivered excellent results as consistently as Joe. I've lost weight, while actually enjoying the workouts! It is serious training that is 100% personalized to your body and goals. His private gym is a great environment to avoid the crowds and never feel intimidated. There's really no better investment you can make in yourself-- try a few sessions, and see for yourself! You won't regret it.

I have had personal trainers before but only at a gym. When i trained with Armando Ramirez it was in the comfort of his home. He trained me in his garage and it was for a month. I told him I wanted a work out plan that would target a total body work out crunched into an hour. He first weighed me and tuck measurements. So I can see my progress. That was very helpful and I like that I felt comfortable with him. I liked how it was one on one without the crowded gym environment. Armando showed me how to enjoy working out instead of counting down the minutes. I liked how it was quick and do able on a weekly basis. He always made sure my form was correct. In the past other trainers didn't give me as much attention due to other clients in the gym. Armando also pushed me when he seen I wanted to give up. But it was not aggressive it was very motivational. He showed me that I was capable of exceeding in my work outs. One thing, Armando did not have to many work out machines but his work out consisted more of stability and balance. I liked that better because I can do those work outs anywhere. No GYM needed. I really recommend training with Armando!!
It's an exceptional experience to have someone be "team you" from the moment you meet them. Kenny is your number one supporter and your greatest challenger from the moment you commit to your journey. He definitely has the knowledge and the experience to get you to your fitness and health goals, but he has the heart too. You may not "like" him all the time but you will love your results if you trust this trainer and his process
Monique is well versed in matters of health pertaining to nutrition and physical fitness. She consistently attempts to tailor both to clients' tastes and preferences, strengths and weaknesses. To find a professional with both specialties is very rewarding as we all look to refine and improve our nutrition and fitness programs individually and for our family. I've been training with David for about 5 weeks now. I decided to train with David initially because I felt like he listened to my goals and he sounded like he had a lot of experience. He was the first person I interviewed but I remembered that he was the most humble and down to earth, and I had a feeling I'd be comfortable training with him. All the men trainers I interviewed talked to me like I had two brain cells, and I found David to be the most up front and honest. My goal is to lose weight, tone up and to strengthen my left shoulder for outrigger canoeing. So far, I am noticing a huge difference with my left shoulder. Its stronger and it no longer bothers me when I go paddling or perform certain exercises. Its still not 100% in strength but has gotten a lot stronger through training. All our sessions are pretty different and varied. I never know what to expect from David, which is good. I get bored at the gym because I love the outdoors, but David keeps it interesting. David pushes me when he thinks I'm slacking off, which often times, he is mostly right about.... I need someone to push me or I will slack off, which is probably a good reason to hire a trainer. David goes out of his way to make it work for his clients. He genuinely cares about his clients and loves what he does. I can tell by the excellent service he provides for his clients. My personal belief is that its important to practice what you preach, and David is a trainer that is in great physical condition, and knows what he is doing. I personally did not want to hire a personal trainer at the local gym that looked like they needed training themselves... I highly recommend David as a personal trainer. Due to his diverse background, I believe he would be a great fit for many.
Lala is fantastic! Very professional, knowledgeable, and committed, yet warm, compassionate, caring and supportive. I have researched and interviewed many personal trainers and Lala is by far the only one I trust to help me strengthen and heal my 48 year old body, so that I can continue my profession as a Registered Nurse after having a car accident and other back injuries. Mohamed is the best trainer I have ever trained with. I have trained with a number of other trainers before but no one as good as Mohamed. He genuinely cares about his clients and wants us to see results which is why he checks in daily to see how I am feeling. He is an all in one trainer, in the sense he not only helped me get fit physically but also helped me become positive/strong mentally. He saw that I was working out with him but was not happy mentally (job situation) but he helped me deal with it. He such a positive person with a lot to offer. His workouts are awesome, he challenges me every time I see him. I am doing workouts that I have never done before or even knew I could do. I definitely see a lot of results after I started working out with him. I would recommend him to everyone!
I have known Caterina in the capacity of a physical trainer for over 6 months. Before Caterina I have had the good fortune of working with some very good trainers. I started training with Caterina due to my very unusual schedule which only she could accommodate at the time. What I started with serious hesitation, turned out to be one of the best things that has happened to me! Caterina is, by far, the best trainer I've ever had. I'm not exactly the easiest person to train. But, she has been nothing short of fantastic. She is very patient, encouraging, and motivating. At the same time she is very understanding and knows what her clients need. She can push you to your maximum, making sure you don't injure yourself. She does this in a way that makes working out seem like fun rather than a strenuous chore. The best thing about Caterina, though, is that she is very understanding, and flexible too. She's more human than any other instructor I've ever had. I would highly recommend Caterina to any individual looking for a quality instructor. She would be a great asset to have on board.
I came across Barroga Fit through yelp. I had an aggressive goal for sometime and I tried multiple trainers, but it still wasn't what I thought I was looking for. Until, I did an assessment with Ana. The way she spoke about my goals like it was her own and how she guided me on how to get my 20 lbs weight loss goal was all the things I never got from the other trainers. Ana helped me with my 20 lbs weight loss goal and kept pushing me to do things that I never thought I would ever be able to do. Because of her I have completed 2 5k runs.
Omar was my fitness trainer twice a week for approximately 4 months. He was always prepared, professional and extremely knowledgable. He encouraged me to work harder as well as teaching me good body form and nutrition information. We set goals and Omar helped me achieve them. He kept a close eye on my progress and always made sure I was progressing. He is a positive and energenic trainer and I would highly recommend him.

I hired Paul Fulcher as a personal trainer in order to reach my goal of losing 30lbs. Not only did I lose the weight, but he went above and beyond and taught me how to eat healthier and feel better about myself. He has a high level of energy but not overbearing! I did lots of research on personal fitness trainers in the south bay area. I found Ron’s website, researched his training program and emailed him in regards to more information. He returned the email promptly and within the week we were meeting and discussing my goals and starting my training sessions the next week. Ron provides a complete package that is easy to follow yet aggressive to the goals that you are wanting. I have been with him for 9-weeks now and he has exceeded my expectations in a trainer. He is there by your side correcting your techniques; assist when needed but never lets you gives up. Each session he challenges you and provides positive reinforcements to keep you motivated. I am moving forward meeting my goals and Ron has helped provide me with that. Great trainer, very knowledgeable and a great mentor for getting yourself where you want to be physically and mentally. I would recommend him to anyone no matter what stage of fitness you are. He has set a great foundation for my future goal. Can’t thank him enough.
