I'm having a lot of fun! The hour just slips by and my monologue improves tremendously from the start of the lesson. It's also one-on-one so I get all the attention I need.

Ben's a great, knowledgable and fun vocal coach that really caters to your needs, and then broadens your potential to things you never thought you could do. As a 21 year old male trying to be a pop/rock singer, in just a few short lessons he helped my range, breath support and overall tone improve drastically. Highly recommended if you're looking for good results quickly in improving your singing voice.

Bettina is absolutely astounding in her ability to coach stand-up comedy! I'd taken several comedy courses but no matter what I tried, I couldn't overcome sounding scripted. With a single Bettina coaching session, my PAR score (positive audience response) went from 26 to 34. After my second session, it went to 46 for my entire set, with some minutes at 58 PAR. Headliner PAR is 30 and above. I'd say Bettina is a total comedy, speech, acting, and coaching GENIUS. I'm not saying you'll get the same superb results. You have to want it and you have to work it, too. But I'm still astounded by the way she can tweak a chuckle into a belly laugh. Thank you, Bettina!!!

It would have been nice to have more information about the actual teacher who would be coming to the house. I took it on blind faith that he was a good teacher and a normal person. There was no resume or bio or picture or anything. Turns out, Adam seems great (2 lessons so far). But more info would have been helpful.

Loving my lessons with Ethan. I'm new to guitar, and he's great at starting at the very beginning. He's patient and has a great laugh.

I hired Paula to teach a swing dance lesson during my boyfriend's 30th birthday party and the whole process could not have been smoother. Paula was super flexible, easy to book with and had great follow through. She arrived perfectly on time for the lesson and was a true delight. My boyfriend has taken tons of swing dancing classes over the years and he said that she was the best teacher he's ever had. She spent time helping every couple in our group and her experience really showed. I cannot possibly recommend her more highly!

I have recently had the pleasure of being directed by Edward in two stage productions. He is dedicated, outrageously funny, and knows what he wants to see in the actors with whom he works. I have had opportunities to work with him in both group settings, as well as one on one. As an acting coach, he brings unique choices to the table. He challenges one to think about what one “should” do versus what one “could” do and to think outside the box. I feel confident in saying that I would work with Edward again in the future and respect his direction.

Melissa is a fantastic vocal instructor and is also wonderful at helping young actors and singers prepare for auditions of various kinds. She is enthusiastic and dedicated to her students' success, and she draws on a wealth of experience as a performer, herself. I can't recommend her strongly enough as an acting and singing teacher!

I wanted to get acting and singing lessons, mostly for myself and to be able to perform within my family and friends. Valerie helped me reach the confidence and skill level that I was looking for, all this with great enthusiasm and fun activities!

I love singing because it allows me to express myself in all the genres of music out there. I'll help you find your voice in the genre that fits you best.

I work with hundreds of actors and professionals who have a lot of experience to little getting on their feet and speaking or performing. I've found that my experience and building trust with clients quickly has enabled them to truly shine in one session with me. As both a professional actor and casting director I have coached actors and real people for live and on-camera high performance communication. Whether you are an actor or public speaker seeking more confidence, ease, and feel more grounded in your performance contact me for a quote.

I will take you through your pieces and show you how to make them pop. If you have a monologue you've been working on and it just doesn't seem to be getting to that next step, let's take a look together. Perhaps, with a second pair of eyes (mine), we can take it to that next step. Same goes for any piece you're working on. Give me a call and let's talk.

We have intervals in our lives and intervals of music. With each step, be patient with yourself. Each person has his/her own gifts yet to be discovered. You may begin with piano and find, with much excitement, you can write songs, or would you love to sing in musicals, opera, or choral groups or sing leads in theatre productions? Perhaps playing the violin in an orchestra will pluck your heart strings? How about guitar, strumming in a band, singing and accompanying for a church choir or just want to play great songs. Whatever the instrument or style (classical, sacred, jazz, musical theatre and popular), let us explore together what your talents can add to your life and those around your world. At Interval, our professional coach has an extensive background in music and drama. A member of the Music Teacher Association of California, National Association of Composers USA, Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), our intuitive, talented coach is a published songwriter and a recording artist. She will guide you along your new adventure, help unfold your goals, and make your hopes a reality -- one interval at a time. Our music and drama school is a peaceful environment, where you can focus, be listened to, embraced and accepted for wherever you are along your journey. You are welcome to make your next step into "Interval!"
