Latest Review: Mr. Lamb is great teacher. He is currently teaching my child and my child is picking up piano fingering and technique fast. I think Mr. Lamb is very talented and knows how to instruct in music theory and piano technique. He is very friendly and easy person to talk to, flexible and understanding of the needs of my child, and accommodates us most graciously when we have to reschedule. I highly recommend Mr. Lamb for Piano lessons.

Latest Review: I had studied piano as a child, and I began to play again after I retired. When I moved to Walnut Creek I transferred my piano lessons to Martin. I found that his lessons were much more comprehensive than my previous teacher's. In addition to helping with the basics, he teaches more subtle aspects of interpreting each piece that results in greater musicality than I had achieved before. Although this is more demanding, he is very supportive and encouraging, and I look forward to each lesson.

Latest Review: David has been teaching our 12 year old to play piano for a couple years now, and what I love most is how excited our son is to come home and practice what he learns at David's lessons. David not only teaches how to read music and how to understand and play chords, but he also makes it easy and fun for his students to generalize the concepts they learn and apply them in a variety of musical settings. Our son is even talking about forming his own band! David's Piano School rocks!!!

Latest Review: I absolutely LOVE working with Michael and learning guitar from him. I've tried many times to learn before, and it's never quite stuck. Michael has a way of making difficult concepts seem easy and I'm finally able to grasp music theory. It's always challenging learning something new because I (as I'm sure a lot of people do) feel silly when I mess up or a little dumb if I don't do something right, and Michael makes me feel comfortable and able to make mistakes and try new chords or scales, or whatever it may be. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Michael if you want to learn guitar or just improve your skills!

Latest Review: Inger is a phenomenal piano teacher. My daughter started taking lessons from Inger about a year ago. I am amazed at the progress she has made in such a short amount of time. In addition, Inger has many personal attributes that go beyond her knowledge of piano. In addition to being very hard-working, she is professional, enthusiastic, encouraging and effervescent. Her recitals are well-organized and enjoyable. Her positive attitude is wonderful for my adolescent daughter. I consider her to be a mentor to my daughter in addition to being a wonderful piano teacher. I can't imagine suggesting any improvement to Inger. I am thrilled that we found her.

Latest Review: Mike is hands down the best piano teacher we have had for my son. He connects with the kids in the kindest and most accepting way. He maintains his sense of humor while not letting them get away with just sliding by. He works with the parents to ensure the best learning experience for the child. He uses his expertise in music methodology and various learning styles to help the children discover what drives their talent and then focuses on what they do best to help them learn what is most challenging to them. And he has the patience of a saint to boot! I’m so impressed with how far my son has come under his tutelage.

Latest Review: I have been studying classical piano with Talyn Imhoff over the past 10 months. She has helped me immensely with sight reading, technique, and articulation. She makes the lessons fun and lets me choose the pieces I want to work on. She is patient, kind, and a very accomplished pianist. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to take their playing to the next level!

Latest Review: As an older newbie to the piano along with some medical challenges, I was somewhat apprehensive about taking lessons. I have had some piano training previously, and never thought that I would "ever get it." After only a few lessons with Keith, I am already beginning to feel more confident. Keith is a very gentle soul. He is incredibly patient and understanding, and always seems to find a different way to explain something if I don't get it the first time. He mixes music theory along with basic exercises, and of course songs to give me a very comprehensive lesson. His hourly rate is extremely reasonable. I feel very comfortable with Keith and I find myself practicing more than I ever did before with other teachers.
