My kids began piano lessons with Carolyn about 6 months ago at ages 5 (girl) and 7 (boy). The kids have very different personalities, learning styles, and ways that they approach music. Carolyn has been able to modify the lessons to teach each child individually. She is passionate about music and is able to inspire others to have that same passion. My kids love taking piano lessons and I love hearing them play!

My son loves taking piano lessons with Marissa. He is always excited on lesson days to go to her studio. The lessons are simple, as he is a beginner, and just enough for him to practice at home before the next lesson. I look forward to all Marissa has to offer him as he learns the wonderful world of music.

Yuan is an awesome piano teacher, and by that I mean she is really good at both playing the piano and teaching her skills to others. She adapted the classes to suit my needs and my ability and was very attentive towards both my strong and weak points. She has learned Piano since she was four, so needless to say, she knows what she is doing. She is also a very nice person in real life. She was always on time, and also very flexible in changing the time of the classes when I got unexpected changes of plans. All in all, I had a very good experience as a novice piano learner with Yuan and would recommend her without any hesitation!!!!

I was unsure about learning to play the violin, but I gave it a try! I've been getting violin instructions from Bette for almost two months now. Her vast knowledge is incredible. My experience so far has been outstanding. I can now read notes, and play a few really fun songs. I continue to get better with each lesson. Bette is flexible with her availability and charges an affordable rate for her services. If you are considering taking violin lessons, call Bette.

Mary has been my piano teacher from day-1 of my retirement nine months ago. It has proven to be a phenomenal personal investment. I started at ground-zero. Mary has taught me classical technique, reading, hand independence. All aspects of teaching are supported by ensuring I understand the underlying music theory. I highly recommend Mary (who is also totally cool!) as a keyboard instructor for all ages of students

About

I am inspiring children and adults to become the musician who they want to be. I believe in customizing teaching techniques to the student rather than vice versa. By being able to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, I have successfully used their strengths to overcome their weaknesses. My love for music is infectious, and I pride myself with the ability to bring out that potential talent in everyone. It's never too late nor too early to start learning piano or cello!

About

I offer professional classical and jazz training on guitar and cello, including harmony and ear training studies.

Learn to play the easiest way. I show you all those pretty ivory white chords, explain chord slamming, and you can start playing a mess'o them good-old tunes immediately! And not only do I teach how to read music, but also tell you and show you how to play by ear. From the start you will learn how to play popular tunes and I point to tips that help you to understand the simple logic as apposed to the confusion that can occur! "Where the heck are my fingers supposed to go?" I make it easily understandable, and in no time at all you'll proceed through the keys! Really easy.

About

I am as independent of a musician as you will ever fine. I am completely self motivated, and my style is unique. If you're exclusively looking for a teacher to guide you through the standard classical approaches I'm probably not your guy, but if you're looking through a teacher who is knowledgeable and mindful of theory and technique while recognizing the value of exploration and playfulness in music I might be your right guy. My goal is to draw my students closer to their own creative passions.

About

I teach private piano lessons to children and adults. I teach mainly classical music but will also teach popular music if you want to play that. Piano lessons also include music theory so that you understand the structure of the music that you are playing. I teach correct technique as a means of expressing the music. I have an encouraging teaching style and gently correct mistakes while praising good playing. I have prepared numerous students for the certificate of merit program through the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC) of which I am an active member.

I have a general knowledge of reading notes. I have had 1 year of piano, with meetings once a week on an off. No expert... probably should start from lesson one. I do have a condition where my hands shake a little, most people think I am nervous but its my doctor says I have central nervous disorder. I do take medication that helps. I am 38 years old.
