Dave's been my trainer for over five years now. I attend his Morning Crunch Boot Camp in Culver City. The sessions are a nice mix of traditional boot camp-like tasking and working at your own pace (aka listening to your body). His workouts mostly focus on strengthening your core which I like. Best of all he's got a good sense of humor and keeps it light so the workout flies and I feel good after every session. Thanks Dave!
I've definitely had my share of trying out different trainers/gyms/workout DVDs/group classes/boot camps, you name it and I've done it. Throw out those workout DVDs and cancel all your memberships. Trust me when I say Manuk is the one and only trainer you will need. I have been training with him for about a year now a couple times a week. Manuk really took the time on our first meeting to get to know me and my life style so he can plan a workout accordingly. He asked me my daily routine, food and drink Intake, job, what my goals were, etc.. Didn't miss a point to give me the best results. Manuk has given me results within this past year that I didn't even imagine were possible. He made sure he altered what I ate throughout the day (in a healthy and easy transition) to see quicker results. He is honest with you, well educated in the field, motivating, and his humor definitely is a huge plus!! Makes working out fun and not such a serious, in your face yelling kind of a workout.
I love boot camp! Tony takes his time with you but motivates you so much so you don't give up. It is a blessing to have him as my trainer, he makes you feel great! When I'm missing appointments, he will be the first to call to make sure I'm Ok! I couldn't ask for a better boot camp trainer! 😄
I cannot say enough great things about Katrina! I have been to her private sessions and her boot camps, and have seen great results! With Kat it's more than just weight loss, she is mindful of your body and possible injuries her workout may cause. She notices if you are having a hard time doing an exercise because of a muscle weakness or overcompensation. She works with you to show you how to strengthen that area without injury. I think Katrina out does any other trainer that I've seen because she understands the body so well. I've been to see her for back problems and she knows the exact muscle that is tight! I have tight calves and she has shown me how to loosen them with some really great stretches and my favorite, the foam roller. She definitely emphasis stretching before and after her sessions, so that your body can recover and you don't hate her too much after a workout. ;) She also works with oils and natural supplements that most all her clients swear by. If you have a cold, she has a remedy. Slow metabolism? She's got something for that too! And many other ailments. I highly suggest using her supplements to get the most out of her sessions and become healthy from the inside out. Thank you Kat for helping me down the path of my weight loss and health goals!
Carlos is the motivation and willpower I cannot find within myself. I need a trainer that will get me to show up. he has this way of making you have fun and wanting to workout. always in touch, guiding with diet tips and all around support. I've tried so many other options but Fitmonster is the one that works for me. great people at the boot camp great prices I'm great ice tea... and the results show itI'm getting stronger and leaner all the time closer to my goal
Susie led a boot camp that I participated in for about 4 months. She was awesome! I never got bored with our workouts because it seemed we never did the same thing twice. She's got a plethora of workout ideas. She was also able to modify any exercise to meet various levels of fitness. She's a great trainer who will push you through your complaining and get you to your goal!
Yesterday (7/17/14) me & my girls finished our 4 week Bridal Boot Camp sessions with Stephanie & Jim. We had a total of 8 sessions, each one hour long including warm up's & cool down. With my wedding quickly approaching I felt that I needed help with my work out routine & I'm very happy to have found them. They gave me so much support & encouragement & they never let me give up on myself. They really made sure that we did each exercise right so that we would get the best out of it & so that we wouldn't get hurt & they showed up for each & every session. I'm actually looking into doing another 4 weeks with them because I definitely see results & feel so much better about myself! I won't forget what Stephanie said during our last cool down session, she said "Just let go of the fear & do it, we won't let you get hurt, we won't let you fall." It was tough but fun & totally worth it, they're awesome trainers!!
I first contacted Sean two months ago after hearing rave reviews about him from a friend. At first I was a little reluctant to try any type of personal training or boot camp style class, because I had a TERRIBLE experience with another Pasadena boot camp. I decided to give it a go and am glad I did! I have been participating in his semi private training classes 3 days/ week for two months and I feel great. Mind you, I'm 35 years old and came in weighing 203lbs at 5'5, not exactly a small girl. Now, I'm 170lbs and can fit into the same size jeans I once wore in high school. I have been a member of Cowboy Boot Camp for over five years and learn something every time I ride a horse, which is weekly. I have become adept at tack, grooming and riding, all because of Jim Moore. The experience of riding a horse on the gorgeous trails in Palos Verdes is exhilarating and soothing for the soul -- I highly recommend it.
I personally don't find working out enjoyable, but with Carla's motivation and her group structured work outs, I found the experience a step toward changing my lifestyle. Carla is the perfect balance between Boot Camp Instructor and a motivational friend. She emotionally invests in her clients because she too has started from where we all are since day one with her. She invests all of her energy in trying to not only make you determine to change your body image, but educate you on healthy life style practices. She went above and beyond and tailored work outs to where you wanted to focus your efforts on. I would definitely recommend her to all future friends looking for a change in their health.
Bridget is an outstanding trainer. I am attending her boot camp class and really enjoying it. She is a very friendly, a motivator with a great attitude and very knowledgeable at what she does. She works you hard and challenges you which I love. She also has a lot of good nutritional information that she loves to share. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Triston is by far the best trainer I've worked with. He's knowledgeable, attentive, and VERY patient. His boot camp is fantastic - a terrific workout and he varies the activities and will always have an alternate version if there's something you just cannot do. Triston is a dedicated, professional trainer - you will love himm!
I attended workout boot camps for So Live The Trainer. I must say that it was a challenge but so worth it. At times when participants felt like giving up, So Live would join in on the exercise and encourage them to push to the finish. Any other trainer would coach from the sideline as encouragement but So Live gets down with you to show he is there and supportive. That is something that is needed out of a trainer and he had no problem doing it. Awesome!
Brook's so fantastic; I'm not sure where to start! She found me struggling in the gym with a frozen shoulder and getting no where, with the shoulder or my physique. She subsequently worked me through my frozen shoulder issues and on to prepare me for my wedding, upon which I have never felt stronger or probably looked better. Shes now helping my husband with his damaged shoulder issues. She wastes no time standing around talking and she really focuses on the muscles you're supposed to be engaging and why. There's no boot camp style where you're mindlessly running around not really focusing or strengthening anything. Its a highly focused work out where I come away sore and stronger every time. I cant recommend her enough!
