Raffia was my four year old grandson's (Taylor) piano teacher. From the very first day we entered her studio, she treated us with the utmost respect. I was so impressed on how well she worked with Taylor. She has a lot of patience and went out of her way to make sure we both understood his piano lesson. Taylor enjoyed going to see Ms Raffia to learn piano. He had a lot of fun. Without a doubt I would recommend Ms. Raffia to anyone who has a child considering taking Piano lessons. She is the greatest!!
For my 60th birthday, I decided that I would finally learn to play the saxophone, forty years after I gave up the clarinet. I have been taking weekly saxophone lessons from Fay for about nine months now, and will continue to do so. Fay is a very patient and encouraging teacher. She has taught me some music theory that I had never learned before, as well as the mechanics of playing the tenor sax. In addition, she is a talented improviser, and her love of music is always apparent. Lessons consist of a nice blend of scales and exercises, along with some very satisfying pieces of jazz and classical music. I recommend Fay without hesitation or reservation.
Just what I was looking for in a jazz piano teacher! He listened to my goals and is crafting a teaching strategy to make me a better musician while enjoying the process. Looking forward to more piano lessons in the future. He also teaches saxophone.
Ruth is wonderful. Very kind and professional. We are so happy we found her when we moved here. My daughter (10) thoroughly enjoys her flute lessons, and she has improved so much faster than with her two previous teachers. I cannot recommend Ruth highly enough!
My thirteen year old daughter has been taking piano lessons from Leigh in her home for about one year. She has been kind and encouraging in her instruction. With her extensive education in music, she is able to teach technique and historical background. She has also been flexible with our schedule changes. We are very happy!

Sierra has a lot of helpful tips on breathing that I haven't heard elsewhere. She is adapting the lessons to meet my exact needs. I highly recommend her!
My 8-years-old daugther has developed a passion of learning a wind instrument, flute in particular. Last year, we met with Ms. Cheryl at a music center and my daughter really loved her teaching. We have been having a private flute lessons with Ms. Cheryl for more than a year. Ms. Cheryl is assertive as well as providing a positive and nurturing environment. She is not only talented but also manage to create a fun but challenging lessons for kids. I can see the improvement from my daughter. Most importantly, Ms. Cheryl is a member of MTAC, so I was really happy that my daughter was able to enroll into Certificate of Merit this year. Ms. Cheryl understands that Certificate of Merit is an important program for her students. Overall, I would highly recommend Ms. Cheryl as a flute instructor because of her professionalism and good teaching attitude.
Heather Klenk has been my daughter's private clarinet teacher for 4 years. She has inspired my daughter to love music and to keep playing and work hard. If not for Heather's commitment, dedication and encouragement, Emily wouldn't be the confident and talented musician she is today. She has made such incredible progress and looks forward to each lesson with Heather. Thanks Heather for being such an amazing teacher!

I teach saxophone, flute, clarinet, music theory, and composition and arranging. I like to tailor my lessons to the needs and goals of my students while still giving them a firm base in the fundamentals of whatever they want to study. The main thing is I try and approach my teaching from as many different angles as possible. Not every mind is the same, so teaching means trying to accommodate all different ways of thinking.

I have 20 years of experience in performing as well as teaching the saxophone and flute to beginners and advanced levels. I am patient with students, and I love teaching music. I'm fascinated at how every single student learns so differently from the next one. I have performed all over the world, in jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I write original materials, and I am always searching for the best practice routine. We never stop learning! I specialize in jazz improvisation. I can teach you how to read chord changes of any style of music so you can learn how to play a solo for a concert setting or just for fun. Discipline, focus, and persistence are key elements in learning a new skill. Talent is not enough.
Hello! My name is Celina. I am so excited for what the future has in store for us and I hope that I can help you achieve your goals and aspirations. Before we begin, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have recently graduated AMDA The College and Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts with a Bachelor's Degree in the Performing Arts. Currently, I am working on a second degree with focuses in Business and Sociology. Lessons will begin with a small look at how each student operates. Everyone learns differently! Lessons will then expand into fun and in depth sessions as I help each student find what exactly it is that intrigues them most. This will be accompanied by ironing out the wrinkles of the more complicated things. Lessons will always end with a laugh and a smile! No matter what it is you decide to tackle, you can learn it. There is absolutely nothing that you can't learn. I'm here to help you! *** Lesson Details *** Flute Lessons: In these lessons, we will begin with a warm up and then a review of what has been learned in the previous lesson or more of the fundamentals that may have not been learned yet. After this segment, we will continue to push forward with correct technique and musicianship. The end of the lesson will be devoted to giving things to work on as well as something fun that will be learned before you are dismissed.
My goal as a teacher is to personalize and tailor the instruction to meet the student's specific needs. If the student wants to learn how to sing and perform in public, I will focus the lesson time on musicality, flexibility, adaptability and just having fun! After all, enjoying yourself is the MOST important part of experiencing music.
