Diane was a wonderful Spanish tutor. Teaching a new language to a hearing impaired student is a challenge to most teachers but she came prepared with different modalities and materials to accommodate my hearing impairment. She was also open to suggestions and incorporated them into the lessons. I learned useful vocabulary as well as traditional language building techniques. Diane was flexible and willing to accommodate scheduling sessions to meet lifes busy days. I would definitely recommend Diane as a Spanish instructor.
Marc tutored my son in French for several years while he was studying for the Brevet and the Baccalauréat at the Lycée Français La Pérouse in San Francisco. I doubt that my son could have passed these exams without Marc's help. Besides being a native speaker of French, Marc's training is in language and translation, and so he also knows the mechanics and methods of teaching. He also always strove to make the lessons interesting by introducing different topics and trying various teaching methods. I would recommend Marc unreservedly to anyone looking for a French tutor.
My son was struggling in his High School French II class. We found Mary Lee mid semester. After a few tutoring sessions he was back on track! She successfully was able to teach him proper grammar, reading, writing and speaking French. And she also was able to keep learning French fun for him! It was easy to schedule tutoring time with her even with his busy schedule. He improved his final grade by 2 letter grades!! I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone, she truly cares about all her students. I only wish we had found her sooner. :-)
She is really flexible and great for additional help!
Carolyn is my Hungarian teacher and she is excellent: capable, kind and patient. . She has prepared lesson plans and material I can take home to continue the learning process. E. Pataki
My work stands out because I know how it is and feels to start learning a new language. I like to make it easy and simple to understand, but still learn the material, which doesn't change. I also, like to teach tricks and shortcuts to make it easier.

"I contacted Jacqueline for my daughter prior to her student exchange trip to France. She needed to learn the basics of the French language. The lessons with Jacqueline were very informative and fun. Lots of conversation examples from maps and pictures and a little vocabulary. This is the best way to learn a language from someone who is native from there . My daughter really enjoyed the lessons and she felt much more comfortable to leave for Paris. Thank you Jacqueline. I will definitely recommend you to all my Friends."

As a language aficionado, it saddens me to see people pour in hours and hours into language classes without proper results. The reality is that everybody learns differently and at a different pace and so, often individuals become discouraged. I should know it took me years to become fluent in 5 languages and now I love helping others to become fluent themselves! With personalized lessons for language acquisition WORDBIWORD provides a unique way to learn. I am an avid language student since childhood with 16 years as a student and 12 as a tutor and teacher and my passion has only grown over the years. Whether it is helping Japanese children learn English in their own language or American adults to finally manage to speak French, Spanish or Italian I teach each student in their own language using individually tactful learning methods. All languages are interchangeable so let me know what you speak and what you want to learn. -Romano
