My daughter was 2 years behind in math. She was receiving assistance at school but wasn't making any progress so I found AR. After three months of weekly sessions my daughters confidence has grown by leaps and bounds and homework is no longer a fight. "I'm too stupid for math!" has been replaced by "Look what I did!". I have recommended AR to multiple friends whose children also struggle with math or reading and recommend her to anyone who wants their child to improve in either reading, writing or math.

I had the most amazing experience with Donna! She was so easy to work with and really made all of my tutoring sessions very positive. My GRE scores drastically raised after only three weeks of working with her! I would recommend her services to anyone, and will miss meeting with her weekly!

My wife Michelle and I would like to thank Club Z! for the life-changing tutoring our son received this fall. I could gradually see his change in attitude about academics as the program progressed. With the progress report he received this week there is concrete proof that your program has turned him around! Just as wonderful as his dramatic Improvement in grades, where before he seemed to dread academics he now he seems genuinely enjoy the challenge. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Our program is based on an oral and written assessment that helps us to find gaps in a student's math knowledge. With the results of this assessment, we build a customized learning plan and math binder that is specific to the needs and goals of each student. Students usually come about twice a week and work in very small groups of 2 to 3 students per instructor. During the school year, students receive help with their homework, but the main focus is on building and rebuilding math skills. The results are measurable progress, a renewed sense of confidence, and a positive attitude toward math and learning. Our instructors are highly trained and include MIT and Harvard students and graduates, in addition to certified teachers. We've been recommended by some of the finest public and private schools in Denver, including the Ricks Center for Highly Gifted Children at DU. We're dedicated to providing our students with a warm, positive environment that makes learning math fun. Whether you or your child is advanced in math, struggling in school, or somewhere in between, we're here to help. We make math make sense to kids and adults. Call us today!

I love teaching and helping students of all ages reach their full potential in school. Above all, I want to make the learning interesting and not a "chore." I've found that learning better time-management and note-taking skills is beneficial, but sometimes you just need someone to look over your shoulder, walk you through a problem or explain it in a different way. That's what I'm here for.

Testimonials: "The tutoring I received from Guia was outstanding. She helped me pass the math portion of my MBA qualifying exam. My goal was to score 82% on the math test, in order for me to be exempted from taking the math class. However, I scored 95% which was much more than what I expected. Her approach increased my confidence level and at the end, I reached my goal, which I initially thought was impossible." - Sojan Parapilly, MBA student from Denver, CO "Guia is very patient with my 7 year-old and we are very pleased with the progress he has made with her. We would recommend Guia to anyone looking for a tutor in the metro Denver area." - Eric from Denver, CO "Guia presents flawless communication with us. She is a calm, delightful professional. Most importantly, our grandson was comfortable with her. He was very nervous about having a tutor. We look forward to the next session." - Linda from Denver, CO "When my daughter says, 'If I would have known this before I took the test, I would have made an A. It all makes sense now.' I know that the time was well-spent with Guia. My daughter struggles with math and Guia really helped her translate Geometry basics that she was not getting in the classroom setting. From her view, it didn't feel like an hour of math and she actually smiled all evening because Guia gave her that extra boost of confidence for walking into the classroom the next day." - Cathy from Denver, CO "Guia is very calm and clear in her explanations to my daughter. My daughter says she feels very comfortable with Guia and Guia makes the concepts in Geometry easy to understand. We are very glad that we have found Guia and we will use her whenever my daughter has problems this year. She is extremely easy to reach via e-mail and her responses are more than prompt." - Kate from Denver, CO "Guia is a top-notch tutor and one of the best tutors in our company. Parents and students are well-satisfied with her service. She's the most requested tutor in our center. Thank you for helping the kids do better in school." - William, center director, from a Los Angeles SES tutoring company "My son, Anthony, has improved so much since he has Guia as a tutor because he is now a better reader. Anthony is a special needs student who could hardly read before he had her as a tutor. Guia is smart and has lots of patience and knowledge to teach our kids." - Leticia from Los Angeles, CA "These sessions were very helpful. I very much enjoyed them. I strongly believe my daughter learned a lot because the tutor has lots of patience with her. I really appreciate that." - Claudia from Los Angeles, CA "My tutor was smart, organized, and helpful to me and my brother. I got to learn new skills." - Yeison from Los Angeles, CA "My tutor was friendly, taught me well, and helped me on the questions or words I didn't know. She helped me improve because she taught me how to organize, take notes, and learn how to take a test. Thank you for teaching me." - Nallely from Los Angeles, CA Free tutoring: A+ Scholarship Tutoring is an approved Supplemental Educational Service (SES) provider in Colorado. PK-5 Tutors was founded with the fundamental belief that early childhood and elementary education form the critical foundation necessary for a child's future learning and lifelong success. When a solid foundation is established in the early formative years, a child's academic future becomes strengthened through continuous enrichment, confidence and growth. We offer the following: * One-on-One Tutoring The primary purpose of one-on-one tutoring is to provide the undivided focus and attention needed to address specific areas where a student is struggling or wants to build upon his/her strengths. This is typically the most effective and efficient manner to accomplish a specific goal. * Small-Group Tutoring The primary purpose of small groups is to create a collaborative learning environment where groups of two to four students learn something together. Unlike individual learning, students engaged in collaborative learning capitalize on one another's shared experiences, resources and skills. Students engage on a common subject, ask one another for information, and explore each other's ideas. Each individual's knowledge is magnified when built upon and supported with others. Although the whole group works together on the same subject, individual attention is still given to each student to ensure they continue to progress and achieve their personal goals as well. * Math and Reading Our math and reading services are aligned with core standards and can include subject-based or supplemental-based content. Our subject-based approach uses the curriculum and instructional method your child is currently studying in school. Our supplemental-based approach leverages different curriculum and instructional methods to address a learning topic from a different perspective. Both approaches are aligned to complement the school lesson plans while achieving the parent and student goals. * Enrichment Experiences Enrichment experiences are refreshing and energizing ways to apply and build upon concepts and subjects that students have mastered or are in the process of mastering. Enrichment does not replace regular academic studies but provides an environment to grow that might otherwise not be available. We have just opened our iPad Rock Star, Filmmaker, and Artist learning enrichment sessions for registration. If you have specific areas of interest or other ideas, please let us know; we'd love to hear them. We provide creative, meaningful and personalized learning experiences working with the following: > Students who love: * To reveal their unique strengths * To increase self-esteem, self-confidence, and attitude * To increase subject mastery and overall academic performance > Parents who love: * To help create the brightest future for their child * To proactively support their child's academic needs * To help balance the demands on their limited time > Teachers who love: * To support their curriculum, goals and approach * To enable them to better focus on doing what they love and do best as a professional * To expand their opportunities for enrichment in the classroom > Tutors who love: * To do what they love and do best as an elementary education professional * To reduce administrative demands on their time * To apply innovative learning experiences We are passionate participants in this impactful movement to improve the lives of all and the world around us through education. Our role and purpose at PK-5 Tutors is to integrate our past experiences and expertise in PK-5 elementary education with the ever-changing innovative learning landscape. We help students, parents, teachers and tutors ensure that in the midst of this rapidly changing world, we focus on the student, their experiences, and their successes. Our ultimate goal is to make certain they master the fundamental building blocks that serve as the foundation for their accomplishments now and in the future.

My dear friends, I think I am very good at math tutoring since I am a student. I can understand how you feel about math. As a student, I understand math is not easy for everyone, so that's why you need a tutor. I'm a student, so I always find the simplest ways to learn math (I don't want to feel crazy with formulas). I have many tips to share with you so they can help you get good grade in math class, as well as ACT. I also have a lot of documents which I used to use them to study for ACT. If you try to do my documents a lot, I guarantee you will get a good grade at ACT, even a perfect score. In general, I feel familiar to study by myself, so I have a lot of skills to help you not only study well when I help you, but also get necessary skills after working with me. At first, I didn't study math well, but then with some necessary skills, I studied all of them again and got a really good grade (99% in trigonometry, 119/120 on Math Accuplacer test and 115/120 on College Level Math Accuplacer). If I can do it, you can do it too. I think you just don't know you are smart. You can be smart and get the highest grade. I will help you not only to be well at math, but also feel confident at any logic subject. Thank you for your time and consideration.
